Discontinued Omicron Vaporizer for oils

Man ok that sucks, so I just bought this 100$ cart and batteries for nothing then. Delta 9 isnt very clear on these things, and I was struggling to find info on it. I read that the HVD allows for 7.4v use, but apparently not long enough to get a single rip out of it. I'm told that I can use a pass through, but it is something that doesnt exist (yet). No batteries are anything is available to me. I am kind of sour on the whole thing. Is it too late to just return my omicron and pay the difference for the persei? This is rediculous.

Hey guys,

I have an omicron v2 and have been having trouble getting good hits at 3.7 w a 2.4 cart. When I put it on my persei I get great hits at 7.4. I also have one battery that, even at full charge, doesn't work. The blue light flashes as soon as I hold the button.

Also, I'm very interested in getting the aw imr 14500 batteries. Can I use them in my v2, or do they only work in the hvd upgrade. are there aw imr versions of the perSei batteries that I should get?

Lastly, is there any upgrade to make the persei shorter and to use one of the 3.7 small batteries used to get 7.4? Sorry if that's confusing.

Patiently awaiting for ''Pass_Thru" for the entire D9V line of fine

cartridges [1.5 > 5.0 ] ~ maybe a new PT Japanese Battery ( Li-ion )

instead of Chinese :-)

The HVD with the 7.4 v battery is a great setup for doing 5ohm and 4ohm carts so not a total waste.

You are certain you bouhght the 7.4v herc and not the 3.7v herc? I know it doesn't help and the web site is a bit confusing if you don't know what you are looking at but when the 7.4 herc was for sale it clearly stated it was for the Persai only.

Now that you are here all the info you need to get the most out of Omni is right here.

Yes I can use other cartridges, I just don't like how quickly they break. I wanted the hercules because I didn't like the idea of buying a new cartridge everytime it breaks. They're 13$ a pop at my local smoke shop, which is also where I bought my hercules. But I did a LOT of research on the internet before I bought it and found nowhere that it specified that it will ONLY work on the persei. What I read was that the HVD upgrade allowed for 7.4v of power, and that the hercules that I bought required a 7.4v power supply. I know there is a 3.7v herc, and I specifically chose not to get that one because you can't vape wax with it, which is my main want.

The only time persei is even mentioned is when it says that it features no cutoff time on persei. It does however say it requires IMR batteries though, but I didn't know what the difference was. So I guess that part is my fault.

Even the smoke shop I went to said he was going to send back all of the hercules stuff and whatever adapters and upgrades he had because it was too complicated.

From the delta9 website about the HVD upgrade

"This upgrade will allow you to use 7.4v on your Omicron, and also turn the Omicron into a mini unit. This is not a standalone unit; it requires the bottom cap of the original V2 to operate in mini mode. "

Is it really my bad that I thought the 7.4 herc would work for me?

The PV link is to accessories for the Persai, and it does say Hercules Oil and Herb Chamber for Persei on what you linked. It should be clearer but I suppose PV thought it was enough.

The scientific (dude from delta9) said "The HVD option was for people to use their Persei carts on their Omicron for a more travel friendly package."

Which to me says HVD upgrade allows you to use persei carts. So if the hercules is a persei cart, then why shouldn't the HVD be able to use it? i'm not saying you're wrong, I'm just saying they don't make it very clear at all.

Indeed he did say that. I "liked it" when he did, too, because the entire post brings it together. Out of fairness, let me quote the other half of his statement:
"Only way you can use a herc 7.4v with the Omicron is with the passthrough". It means something entirely different in context IMO. If you read the two sentences together it seems to say Hercules won't work without a passthrough with an Omicron.

And this was long after you decided to buy it, right? It had nothing to do with your decision?

Seems to me if you want to do concentrates you should be good to go with carts. If you want to do herb, perhaps you can trade your Hercules in on a 3.7 Volt version? It's unused, right?

There is a requirement on the Hercules Oil version that says requires IMR batteries, since the Omicron 7.4v does not have IMR batteries this disqualifies it.

If its not uses and ordered from us maybe we can do something, call the office and see what they say.

While I know you have to pay to play but I have played with 13 5 packs of various ohm ratings in the one year since getting the Omni ( and other various versions and accesories), I do have 2 full boxes left so call it 11 5packs. Maybe I should be more concerned with the fact that I have vaped a minimum of 125g of oil through Omni in a year, lmao. Still it would be nice to have a less costly cart for the Omni since I have no intention of spending another $500-700 in carts this year. I most certainly would buy a cleanable oil cart for the Omni if one come available.

I have 2 PERSEI's that are just amazing!
One is setup with a 2.4 cart and GIRL SCOUT COOKIES WAX (Chrome) AW IMR 18650 Battery
The other one with a 5.0 cart and PRESIDENTS WAX (Black) 2 x AW IMR 18350 Batteries
I'm having really good use out of the PERSEI.
The OMNI I want to get due to the cool travel size.

That is just my Omni use, nail and skillet get even more oil through them, lol. Most people know better then to combust with me, my joints will have .2g of oil in them

I didn't say they didn't work well, I actually was implying the Omni works very well especially for stealth. Many people might not stop using a cart when I choose to, when the wick gets deposits on it and slow the draw and vapor production down or begins to add off flavor to the experience the cart gets retired even though it still works. This is why a cleanable cart would be in my best interest, plus I could save some money to spend on other accessories.

I believe the folks at DELTA 9 will release a new and improved HERCULES both for the OMNI & PERSEI.
The flavor is extremely pleasant!
I like Flowers however I love Concentrates!

Your comment about knowing better?In the 70's while most people smoked leafs the Beach People smoked THAI STICKS drench in HONEY OIL.
That was back in the day when people were less uptight!

Great to hear! I know this has been a mission for you and the crew to make work, I hope it does. The stealth factor of the Omni, especially when the 14500 tube comes out is just awesome, the Persai may have an easier power supply for you all to work with but it is much harder to pocket at say Disney and Disney is so enjoyable while vaping oil.

Mr. Scientific - I've had my Omicron V2 for a few weeks now. Was working great until I changed the battery. (The first one wasn't dead but I figured I'd change it out preemptively). With the new battery in the light would go on but it did not vape. I tried the other battery and it started blinking. I put both batteries in the charger overnight and now the light won't go on with either battery. I've cleaned all contacts. The charger shows green when the batteries are in it. What's going on?

Press the button 5 times quickly. There is a lock feature, 5 quick presses turns off the unit, 5 more quick presses turns it back on...it should flash when switching from on to off or vice versa.

Stay on top of your batteries, periodically charge them, they work best at the top 1/2 of the charge.

Would there be an option to trade in my unused hercules 7.4v for that model when it comes out? My smoke shop wouldn't let me return it :/

I own an omicron 2.5 vaporizer and so far I am unable to get any vapors. I've tried priming it a ton of times and poking an iso needle into the cartridge to clear up potential blockages but to no avail. Are there any options I can take?

I disagree. I keep my persei in my pocket all day. I can easily sneak a couple hits without anyone knowing.
