I'd love to hear how it compares to your stereo matrix jam.

The first thing I thought when seeing the 2 monas (aside from :mmmm:), was that it looked to me like they would function rather similarly to the top half of a stereo matrix...

honestly, I don't see the point of the lower matrix, in mine, the water goes right up through the center to the second matrix, and the lower one doesn't seem to add much diffusion really, but it looks cool. I might be missing something, but that's how it seems to me. I have a small mirror on my desk so I can see the perc and how dense the vapor is getting, easily.
I like to watch :dog:

Yeah, there was recent talk in the möbius thread about that...
The general consensus seemed to be that the 1st matrix did diffuse up to the 2nd matrix, but it looked rather insignificant to me.

It could reduce chug or something, but until I hit one, I'm still pretty sure that bottom matrix is mostly just there to look pretty...

I am very excited about the Mona!! I read back, saw pictures, are there details posted somewhere about her?

I am starting to think what I liked about the smaller bub style can was how it had the flat top, creating a space for the vapor to get trapped as it fills the can. It creates a much thicker, milkier looking vapor that is fun to video. So far all of the bubs I have used have had dewar injection from the top of the can, so I am curious to see how the DI performs with the bub style can. :D

Well, they're not shipping yet. But, will be soon. There will be at least a water test up, soon as its in my hands.

Heyo - I just picked up my first high-quality piece, and it happened to be an M&M Tech bubbler. I was hoping I might get some information on when this may have been produced, and any other interesting info about it. For example, I've noticed that M&M Tech sandblasted logos seem to feature different images (the star, for example, in mine). Does this correspond to any particular series of pieces, or are they just kind of random?

Thanks again; I'm loving the bubbler, especially the customization the detachable mouthpiece provides :D

Don't think anyone answered your question on when it was produced. That is their new logo, which is only about 6 months old, if that. So, its a recent piece. Though, I'm not familiar with that particular one. It looks like a typical piece. Built like a tank.

I'm looking forward to hearing (and seeing :D) what you think of it. I was eyeballing those myself. Beautiful work and look like they give a hell of a hit.

I've been silent, because it hurts so much. But, I can see your pain is greater. Keep in mind, though... this is a one of a kind piece. Lev has assured me, it can be fixed... and I'm sure the talented group they've got, can make things right with yours to.

I must clarify, since I didn't. That chip in the joint, its 100% my fault. I don't know when, or where... but it was one of two things. The spout on the tub, or my 18mm glass stopper. Both are just as likely, because that end of the Megatube isn't ever close to the spigot. In fact the top really isn't, because I wrap my hand up and around it.

Pretty sure it was the glass stopper, which has an edge about that same size. Hardened glass, meeting hardened glass, is all about the angles.
