Hey Mark,

I've seen alot of your posts in both of these threads and frankly, it bothers me to read them. It's a constant stream of negative, hypercritical, complaining energy you seem to bring. I enjoy your point of view, but would love if it was presented differently.

You totally missed what I was trying to get across if a wooden pin or plastic pin keeps it from turning on unless you pull it out of the whole then inserting a conductive pin would make contact and work so in theory if the pin was plastic with a exposed metal section in the middle it would conduct the power and push it then the plastic goes in between the contacts and its off.
Just a theory , this is how there old pin worked I'm sure of it just look at the first pic in the gallery zoom in to the whole in the core you can see the pin exposed metal and blue plastic wrapped around the pin.

If you are out and about needing to prevent the device from accidentally turning on then just unscrew the bottom switch a little bit. I bet when you push the switch to turn it on the battery won't make contact and it'll work just as well as a pin.

you could also loosen the cart, unthread it enough that it no longer makes contact, so it won't activate. That is how I traveled with my other ecig style vapes ... just in case the button pressed when in transit, the cart was not making full contact so I would only end up running down my battery.

but this pin is meant to keep the battery from contacting which is why it's plastic (I am guessing) so it can travel safely. It does not sound like it is meant to turn anything on.

So it appears 'now'..... I was under the impression originally that it was a secondary switch (the website calls it a switch), and was part of the reason for more original interest in regards to using the EO and the E-juice cores.

As mentioned, many (myself included) are restricted both physically and mentally to be toggling a bottom switch alone for those two core reasons and looked forward to having the (now pin) switch as a toggle.

Down the road it may or may not be an issue in real life use, but time will tell once customers have the CERA in hand to review and hopefully video demonstrate their usage. I hope it proves useful for my own needs & restrictions in that regard.

It seems once again the TET team is waiting on just one last thing before major shipment occurs (per OF's update in the other thread). I ordered Dec 6, and have basically come to terms with the idea that this thing is still many weeks out for me; to believe anything else seems a quick path to disappointment. it must be endlessly frustrating for TET to keep hitting these little snags along the way. But I sure do appreciate their commitment they have made to not delivering a subpar device. Looking forward to hearing the reviews from the lucky ones who get theirs sooner!

Since this the gibberish thread,I'll throw a little bullshit out,just to stir things up a bit.
This whole delay crap started with the flood right? I'm not buying into that. Since the Bible days NO ONE named Noah has been surprised by a flood. Check out the Bible if you doubt this. I don't know exactly where in the Bible to look since the Bible we got for a wedding present got hollowed out for a stash spot LOOONG ago.
Wtf was my point....? Oh yeah,Noah and the flood,not buying it. But I do believe the battery stuff. The batts. come from Japan and they have had lots of Godzilla related activity recently. Much more than normal. I think the tsunami pissed him off more tthan usual.
I stand by my hypothesis 100% since I made them up myself. Maybe.

Godzilla season is bad this year, I heard there was an outbreak of mechagodzilla. Thats what happens when people don't get their flu shot.

And for the Noah stuff, you may be on to something. I'm thinking the illuminati. Or the masons.

I can't laugh anymore tonight. I lost some brain cells earlier and am still unable to find them. I won't even say what I am thinking and have been thinking out loud. That is so unusual for me oh well. I kind of said it a week or so ago anyhow when I was pondering questions.

Well, I didn't cancel my order but I trimmed it down.
I was fine paying way too much for batteries getting them direct from TET but after all this waiting and changing of ideas I decided to save a few dollars instead and get my own. Found some 2600 and 2900mAH 18650's with protection, I can only assume they will be essentially the exact ones they ship out. Helps that I had over $60 credit in my Amazon account....

For me, still waiting (one week now) that TET's bank refunds Paypal to refunds me (Alan Moss's bank had declined the refund to Paypal one week ago now.... and nothing new ) :mad:
