I been vape over a year, always wonder why vapor gives different buzz. Search the net, people say smoke contains combuated plant material, that makes difference.

I doubt vapor contains uncombusted thc, smoke contains combusted thc. That's why.

I put vapor into a bottle, dip in a hot rod to combust it and taste again.

Well, uncombusted vapor taste like virgin, combusted vapor taste like whore.

I am building a new kind of vaporizer called Oxidation Vaporizer. if you like the idea, build it for yourself, simply add another heating element on your hot box to heat the vapor above 500 F then inhale it.

Hello,

Well, I have read and believe that inhaling smoke makes our body (brain) feel lack of oxygen where vapor usually does not. It makes lot of sense, as if, for example you don't smoke tobacco and try to smoke a cigarrette will make you feel "high" (in this sense of lack of oxygen), similar sensation/buzz when I had the chance to visit some South American cities like La Paz, almost 4.000m above sea level and I felt buzzed the whole time up there....

To me inhaling any smoke (even with no thc) can make you feel like you're getting high, although you're just feeling your brain's deprivation of oxygen. If there's thc in the smoke, you feel both buzzes together....

Cheers!

you arent taking in the toxins, tars and carcinogens that make smoke harmful. these chemicals can contribte to your effects.

I'm afraid that's not going to be a popular suggestion, since it's not necessary. A Hot Box already supplies enough heat, and 500 degrees is above combustion point (around 450 F).

Vapor is a much cleaner high and you do indeed get smoke byproducts with combustion that have an effect on you, yet have nothing to do with any of the cannabinoids in mj.

Don't forget that different cannabinoids have different vaporization temperatures. THC has a lower vaporization point than CBN and CBD, for example. If you're not increasing the temp as you vape, you might not be getting all of them. Hence the different high. That's not the only reason, but it's a big factor in the differing highs.

thc plus o2 = combusted thc

thc heats to 400 F = uncombusted thc

smoking weed = combusted thc plus combusted plant material etc

It is all common knowledge, why is so hard to understand?

You got to try the combusted vapor, it really is different high, I am addicted already.

Burn a glass rod till red hot, dip in your bottle of vapor, wait few seconds and taste it!

You owe me a big one.

sex=buzz=high

vapor=virgin

smoke=herpe whore

combusted vapor=virgin whore

end discusstion

this is how it works, so far so good.

ambient air ---> heating chamber 1 ---> 300-400 F ---> pass through weed ---> virgin vapor ---> heating chamber 2 ---> 500 F ---> whore vapor

if use 480 F in chamber 2, you get 60% whore and 40% virgin vapor. kind of.

maybe call it oxi vape, made in FC.

just a new kind of high been discovered and shared, you heard it first from FC.

So far only few people in the world have tasted such high.

It is a new high. strong like smoke, pure like vapor. I am not using it for pain, not sure if it works better for that.

Why not just vape the herb and then combust some inactive bullshit?

Getting combustion byproducts from cannabinoids (your method) seems like a waste for me.
Just like smoking mj is, without leaf burning. So your method is like smoking hash right?
If you want burned gases, smoke something less valuable.

i don't think it is possible to heat thc to combustion -- oxidize it, okay. this sounds more like super heated steam. Or like using a titanium plate for oils and concentrates -- they get super hot and there's no combustion of the extract, depending on the contaminents.

Combusted vapor is similar to smoke pure thc.

When smoking a joint, the tip of the joint is combusting, the hot smoke gets maybe 800 to 1000 F, but when it passes through the joint, the temperature may down to 400 F, so you inhale smoke and vapor. Taste different than smoking a bowl.

Vaporize pure thc or smoke pure thc gives different high, it's a fact.

Vaporize is a way to get thc without mess with plant material.

Remember, smoke is a herpe whore, dump her forever.

i don't think it is that simple --- there can be contaminents from the plant's non-trichome components. shredding/grinding the leaf material will expose interior cells that can be vaporized. virtually no thc there.

smoke weed ---> thc and weed combust at 1000 F ---> by product A

vaporize weed ---> thc vaporize at 400 F ---> by product B

oxivape weed ---> thc vaporize at 400 F ---> heat to 600 F ---> by product C

C is never been tasted or studied before.

what i think you are doing is extracting the maximum amount of cannabinoids and then the heat breaks the THC into CBDs, giving a more couch lock high and almost no THC.

It is like combustion with vapor and a lot more cannabinoids extracted since combusting destroys 70% of the cannabinoids.

I am just learning. I think you know much better and what you say is pretty true to fact.

I just learned this

Since THC is molecularity combined at about 375 degrees and begins to break down or turn to carbon at above 450 degrees I'd say your getting higher from a chemical reaction or placebo affect.
For example the end of a joint can burn as hot as 700 degrees and up to 90 percent of the thc is wasted or carbonized. You can certainly get high but not as high as say when you cook with the same amount at around 375 degrees. (Ask Betty Crocker) Your method would make less thc available to inhale.
Doesn't mean it's good or bad, just different and the loss to conversion would still be minor as the greatest break down occurs at a higher temp range of between 600-700 degrees.
