Best Pen Vape for Kief/Grainy Concentrates?

Is the hard draw on the Solo a deal breaker?

Hey, I've been lurking here for a while reading tons of threads on loose leaf vapes trying to decide between solo and others, but yesterday my friend showed me his pen vape for concentrates. I have found a great deal on hash, but it is very grainy, almost as grainy as kief, so I'm worried that not all vapes will work effectively for it. In his, specifically, it seemed like kief would both land directly on the heating element and be inhaled.

So I'm looking for a few good vapes for vaping grainy concentrate like kief. I do not want to have to melt the kief in; I want something easy where I can just drop it in and go. I would love to be able to charge with USB, and a micro USB port would be amazing because everything uses those now. Temp control would be nice, but not necessary. Basically I'm looking for something super portable that I can take anywhere with me, places where the solo would look out of place. And if anyone has a solo (I'm still looking to buy a loose leaf vape), how hard is the draw? I have a HA and it has about the max airflow resistance I could tolerate, so does anyone know if the solo has a harder draw than the HA?

tl;dr: Looking for the best vape pen that can vape grainy concentrates like kief without having to press the kief or melt it into the vape; I just want to be able to sprinkle some in and go!

Thank you you guys are awesome!

PVHES stems from planet vape will make the solo more tolerable for you.

I've used a solo to vape kief lots of times, I generally mix it with some bud though sometimes I put the kief on top of the bud in the stem, so it is directly on heating plate of the solo. It kind of sticks to the bud and produces nice thick vapor.
That said, I really don't like the restrictive draw and my solo only gets used outside which isn't all that often. I massively prefer the dabuddha due to it really free air flow.
I wouldn't call the restrictive air flow a dealbreaker though, as the solo is still a nice piece of kit but it really is quite slow to draw from.

Thanks for the replies!

Sparty-Is there any difference between all of the options they have listed for PVHES? From what I get, short and bent are like solo short and bent, and turbo is a hollow tube that needs a screen?

AGB-Flashvape looks sick, I'll research it more for my loose-leaf portable, but for now I cant find pricing on it, and I'd really like to see a review so I can tell how big it actually is.

What I'm really looking for now is a vape pen, just to devote to concentrates. I want something small enough that I can just stick it and a gram of hash in my pocket and not really think about it until I want to use it. I would also like it to be discreet enough that I can puff on it on a crowded SF street and have everyone think its an e-cig (smell doesn't matter of course). And I want to just be able to drop straight kief in and go without worrying about accidentally inhaling the kief. Sorry I'm so anal and picky, I just want to be sure I am really going to like the thing before I buy.

So from what I can tell, a lot of these e-cig like vape pens won't work with full melt hash/kief, only oils/waxes. Right now I'm looking at the thermovape dart and revolution. Has anyone used these? How do they compare? I hear that the dart holds less volume and solvent-less hash will gunk it up quickly (I don't mind cleaning as long as I don't have to do it daily), but that batteries last longer. The Rev I've heard is a "one-hitter" (not sure what that means), and the battery dies quicker than the dart (how much quicker?), but that it works excellently with granular hash/kief.

I'd really appreciate advice from anyone who has used these models or anything similar, thanks!

Actually, thermovape rev and dart aren't available anymore :(

So any similar vapes that take solvent-less concentrate?

i didn't like the thermovape for keif or hash it might work well for bho and oils. i too have been looking for a portable hash smoking device(full melt, keif, bubble, etc) no oils or bho

The product that thermovape is replacing those with, the Cera looks like it will handle them very well. The dart I think can still be ordered somewhere check the ultra lite thread I think there was a link.

The Cera looks cool, but I'd like to wait for more reviews on it, but that is going on my list with the solo, inhalater, and the flash vape for a loose-leaf vape.

I've been looking for a while and every time I think I find an appropriate vape, I find out it won't work for fullmelt/kief. I was just looking at the omicron for a while before I realized vaporpedia says it wont even melt kief!

Does anyone know vapes that will for sure work with full melt/kief, no oils or BHO?
