Discontinued VapeXhale Cloud

Slightly Medicated

(SliM) Iron Lungs
I want to try Banana Kush so bad... that and Kosher Kush. I soOoOo want to try Banana Kush... I am super jealous. It is kind of hard to find up here.

Slightly Medicated,
Nice I do the me thing works great vapexhale is the best

Just a question here I was wondering what the average temp people are using cause when I first got my VXH I set it at 12 bells but it seems like over the last month or so I've had to put my temp up to 2 o'clock.to get the same results and my herb is dry, I don't get it ?
I know that different herb might need higher temps to vape because of moisture content but it seems to me that its not getting as hot at 12 bells like when I first recieved my VXH.
I'd appreciate some feed back concerning this, thanks, cause I love this thing.

mod note: Please se Edit instead of making back-to-back posts. Two posts merged.
Ambient air temp makes a small difference( i was in my cabin at about 30 and it wouldnt hit unless at like three). also as post above me said let it sit for like ten packed and i get huge rips at twelve.

Yeah, Banana Kush is fast becoming one of my favorites. It's a heavy indica which is what I prefer.

OK, so I'm trying to figure out exactly what HydraTube I've got.

It's either a VXC Hydracirc, or an Evolver Hydracirc.

I remember a really good post a while back that went through all of the different hydratubes and their differences, but I can't seem to find it with the search function.

If anyone can either direct me to that post or if you know of any discernible differences between the VXC hydracirc and the Evolver hydracirc it would be greatly appreciated
:peace:

Most likely an Evolver... We currently make a VXC ShowerDome but it isn't in stock. The ShowerDome is 44MM throughout, the Evolver is 50MM that reduces to a 38MM mouthpiece - hope this helps

I have been desktop vaping for like 3+ years now and I am an every day almost strictly vaper now. I have had SSV but now I just use DBV + Solo and some oil pens.

From someone maybe who was in my position vape bonging every day with a DBV/SSV... is the cloud really worth 3x the price?

I can afford it, but I dont know if its necessarily for me. I already use my $400 RooR tube with my DBV so unless the cloud will change my life i dont think its worth the $500 quite yet.

Can you get just a cloud to use with the roor? Blows the doors off my old DBV. Nothing bad to say about the DBV really, this is just somehow better. I get better results is all I know using way less herb. I still love a DBV session, but I get better flavor and better medication with the cloud. I'd say 3-4 cloud bowls = 1 DBV bowl for me as far as plant used, so that is something impressive right there.

I could, but it was to my understanding that they dont sell them separately. And that they dont work well upside down.

I like the idea of the hydratubes for sure and would like to get the full expierence.

So seriously, you get way more use out of your flowers in the cloud? That right there might save me money. I probably go thru about a quarter pound a month in my DBV and the bowl packs do go suprisingly fast

How would I go about attaching it to a regular 18mm gong stem?
A bong has an 18mm female joint. Hydratube has an 18mm female joint.
They attach exactly the same.

FYI the VXC without hydratube is ~400 and the cheapest hydratube package is 500 right now.

I ONLY use mine upside down. I sold my Hydratube to a friend. I have an 18mm bubbler. Just insert it and rip it as normal. Definitely saves me bud compared to DBV.

Yes

A recent and happy VXC purchaser, thanks in part to this very forum. The sheer fun of using it caused me to tear through a ton of flowers the first few weeks, but I think I'm falling into a more responsible pattern of consumption.:ko:

Common gripe, I know, but I too think the thing gets too hot, maybe I've got dainty hands. I find the supplied sticker was a tad ugly (no offense) so I came up with my own lil solution. Some silicone bands. You could even express national/gay pride, some even glow in the dark. I kept it simple.

Clouds are actually on sale by themselves and come with a glass mouthpiece for $399 :)

I have that same setup. We were using that before getting our Cloud.

The Cloud is worth it. The temperature control alone is worth the price of admission.

Fred, does the mouthpiece flare out a tiny bit on your HT? Mine does, and it's the only difference from the Evolver Hydracirc that I can tell (the Evolver flares a little inwards at the mouthpiece).

I asked Stonemonkey about mine and he said it was a showerdome by TAFKAGM. Does your HT look like mine? Here's a picture of mine next to the watertool for the Vaporblunt 2.0 for comparison.

Mine flares out a bit just like your pic.
That inward/outward flare is exactly the kinda tidbit I was after

Thanks for the info, but based on the info stu gave me, I think it's most probably a TAFKAGM hydracirc.

Whoever made it, it sure is a quality piece of kit

Fred, FWIW Stonemonkey based his opinion that my HT was by TAFMAGM on my verbal description of it, so I'm not 100% sure. I do know that I ordered an inhouse HT when I bought it.

Vapor Sloth
Since we're comparing the SGW ShowerDome to the Evolver Hydra Circ I have some thoughts that have been accumulating. I love them both and they are a little different :)
  • The opening of the SGW fits around my mouth like a traditional bong, being "old school" I like this. The Evolver, with its smaller opening size, is more like a mouthpiece in a way
  • Evolver is way heavier, probably make a better "travel" HT than my SGW
  • Evolver is a little taller and fatter on the bottom
  • The perc, perc slits, and amount of water held are all larger on the Evolver which makes a difference in how the unit performs
  • The SGW with its smaller perc, slits, and water volume provides a more "intimate" taste and vapor experience
  • Evolver, can rip you through a bowl much faster and smoother, although you can leave your taste behind more quickly
  • I can hit bubble hash harder with the Evolver but they both do nicely
  • Both units have about the same siphoning problem
Hope this helps :peace:

Hi!

I was just wondering if anyone could help me, someone with a great knowledge in electrical engirnering would be a major plus! I live in Tokyo and the power outlets we have here have a voltage of 100V, use the Type A power plug and has a 50Hz power frequency(60Hz in Western Japan). Would the American version of the Vapexhale Cloud work over here in Tokyo? would a plug adapter just do? or would I have to use a power converter? Currently I am considering buying the Vapexhale and have already been in contact with the company, but they said that they can not recommend any kind of power adapter as it is against company policy. So I have come to you guys for help! as I have no idea what would happen if I had to plug the vapexhale into a power outlet here in Tokyo. Is there anyone here that has bought the American version and lives in Tokyo or Taipei(Taiwan)? Thanks in advance for any advice.

For me the biggest difference in vapor density is the herb. Last night I had an ELB of Cherry Pie OG and the vapor was nowhere near as dense as usual. I then had an ELB of Banana Kush and all was right with the world again as I was pulling super thick vapor again.

I leave my temp set at Noon almost always. I'll bump it up to 2:00 for a get-your-ass-to-bed goodnight rip, but that's about it.

:peace:
So true!!
Some bud will vape well at noon, others you gotta crank it up to 1:30, and other times, noon will be too high, so you have to lower it to 10:30.
It really all depends on the strain!

I just follow my taste.....I can tell when my unit is running a little warm or when it's time for a fresh pack. Although I do crank it when I want to show off to first time Cloud contestants. EVERYONE coughs....it's funny because it's not a "Bong" style hit......even though it is. LOL
