I'm excited to get a portable vape that actually works well for oils. The persei is ok and it does the job, but its design doesn't even compare to the cera. I'm excited for the longer battery life, the ceramic zerconia body (drooool), and the raw functionality. From what I can see from the videos, it looks like it just plain works exceptionally well without flaw. It feels like a vape from the future almost. I am still very curious as to how the EO heater works...but it sounds ideal. A porous material for the oil to soak into which acts as a container...but how does the oil actually vaporize? Iron alloy wrapped around ceramic? It looks almost instant vapor production from those videos. I hope my order gets shipped out before xmas, I ordered on the 10th :)
Looking forward to the first reviews!

Edit:
What's the word on the colored o-rings?

I'm bored, so I think I'm going to dig mine out just to try this.

Edit: That worked quite nicely *hic* :science:

I give all credit to OF and just slightly tweaked it. I am glad I did not waste a ton of herb experimenting and had a good method from the start. Prior experience with the MFLB, LSV, ARIZER and log vape has helped learn the proper method to vape. The most crucial part is letting it preheat and then just get the air moving and exhale it all out and get ready to take the REAL hit.

Hey dudu, about the price, I think its as decent as its going to get. Atleast, according to TET. They said it will be stable for a year or two and then go up about 2% per year for inflation on the materials.

I cant wait to see the reviews though. Literally can't wait, I already ordered the eo.

Edit- oh, unless you meant used, I'm sure they'll be deals of that nature with a better price point.

I am hoping that thermovape will have some sort of package or bundle. I am sure if thermovape sees the amount of demand they will be able to lower the price due to economies of scale. Regardless if the product is a real hit than I will end up buying it. I think 2013 will be the year of the PORTABLES and thermovape will have to be aggressive in pricing and engineering to win my business again.

How much better than the T1/Evo can it really be, TBH? I mean the T1/Evo created vapor, right? So if there is no super vapor out there, I guess what we're really talking about is longer battery life? Is that the goal with this new TV?

Just curious, not hating :)

What PB said is exactly right. I love the evolution for the short time I have had it but the most annoying thing is the switch mechanism, battery life, and I believe ceramic will be better for not burning your lips or hands when you have been vaping hardcore.

Longer battery life. no stirring, no clogging, switch, ceramic. Still convection with a wire (heat core) that is 10 times stronger
I hope the cera delivers and along with that thermovape will do something with pricing or packaging a nice bundle for owners of previous thermovape products. We should get some sort of loyalty bonus like a free battery or something for sticking with the company.

Although that would be a nice gesture I don't see that happening. With so many customers in order to cover the cost of doing what you're thinking they would have to jack the price of the Cera up. In the end they got the price down as low as they can for everyone.

From everything I've read there won't be any surprises in terms of pricing coming up. With the heavy duty materials they use there isn't a big enough mark up to go slashing prices.

i am sorry but I kinda  and  at the same time. Given the ceramic zirconia, stainless steel / Ti body, modular platform, heaters with a 10yr life expectancy, medical grade materials, clean vapor path, convection LL core, etc, etc how much more aggressive can they're R & D be?!?! For what this vape is/does I personally see a whole lot of value at the current price point. Just wish (my wife did too lol ) I had the money to pony up for it right now.

No doubt engineering is there on paper. I just hope once it is released in the wild to hundreds of people that it will deliver in real life. I am hopelessly wishing to see some sort of deal but at this time and with Christmas. I am glad that I held off on cera and get to experiment with evolution for half price. Once the cera takes off and has good positive results then I will have to jump in if it makes sense. I am slightly worried about what the competition will offer in 2013 and if thermovape will be making any new releases in the future.

TET had like 9 machines custom made just to make Cera, the only thing they have said they plan on releasing at this point is the Mini Cera. I wouldn't expect cera to go anywhere for a while with the investment they have made into this project Iam pretty sure TET sees Cera as the future of portable vaporization.

Shit. Live here in Canada and any big city is about 3 to 5 to 12 our drive, if lived as close as some of you 7 hours away I'd go for a drive just to pick it up and see the facility and the process of assembly see the in and outs that be cool
Agreed ... 7 hour drive is like a hop and a skip away!

That's another beauty of Cera you don't have to be a trust fund baby to have one in every color cause Cera is only white and you can buy as many different color sleeves as you want

Fun accessory idea I had while thinking about how easily the Cera can produce lots of vapor... How about a "duo" mouthpiece, letting you attach two whips simultaneously? Vape with a buddy or your SO on the couch. Might could help people convince some of those SO's to let them buy the Cera, too...

Im pretty sure you could use some tubing with a little "t" shape attachment but i like the sound of that idea

get yourself a RooR hookah and jam your Cera in the bowl joint. this actually sounds like a great idea

If history is any indication we would see

Or, now that no more finger on switch is required, why not turn that puppy around and do your herb and concentrate at the same time. Just need a second Cera.

Now that video I would pay to see.

I just thought i'd pop in to give you all some stuff to think about while your waiting for your Cera.

So when you get your Cera your going to notice a few things, some more subtle than others. For instance the body of Cera, its a 3/4" ID with a few strategically placed holes it, The cap is pretty similar in its simplicity.

So.... those of you who know me know i come from a long lineage of furniture builders, AKA Wood Butchers. ;) Anywhere I go Im always looking at the materials things are made from (not the phony picture stuff), Right away i start looking at Cera.

Just Imagine a Tigers Eye Maple and Titanium Cera, Or a Purple Heart and Stainless Cera, maybe a copper and brass one?

Whats your idea? :-D

Oooh! How about certain minerals??? I'd love to see a mix of the beautiful white Ceramic with some black onyx, gold and red ruby garnet type crystal on it!
