Discontinued VapeXhale Cloud

. . . They explained that the software is setup to NOT turn the unit on if it gets too cold. They said that it is to prevent thermal shock of the bamboo . . .

Interesting, given the recent discussion re leaving a hot Cloud by a freezing cold open window. Besides what appears to be potential for thermal shock, indicates that leaving it that cold may render it inoperable - that would be temporary, but still a bummer for a user in need of his/her Cloud.

i've tried vxh's suggestion of warming the cloud up with a hairdryer to lower the temperature before turning it on. didnt work, guess my baby really is dead :(

theamigo,
I just wanted to stop by and thank everyone here for their info and tips. After hours of reading and watching videos i think i am ready to pull the trigger on my first desktop vape. I only own a PAX and have only ever used a whip style before so i am excited about jumping in as a noob to this world. Pretty sure i am going to take SliM's advice and start off with the hydratree.

Thanks again!

Literally a day before I am going to order a cloud and I hit a wetpatch of leaves while driving, hit the curb, and mess up the tire on my car and put a ding in the door. Don't know how or why. But my God. I couldn't have worse luck.

Meh.

Dr, I would think a Cloud would help with the dent in the door more than a nice door would help with the Cloud!

That is very good logic Mr. Sticks :)

It looks like my insurance will come through though. Might not need to pay more than a couple hundred so the purchase of the cloud may still take place today.

I know it is a little late, but anyone in Seattle who is bored today should consider coming down to the SubChool's School of Dank. I brought my cloud with me yesterday and it was quite the crowd-pleaser. I am pretty sure they are still selling tickets at the door. Make sure you bring your medical certification with you. So, if you are in Seattle and bored today... come on down and hang out/use the cloud with me. :)

i assume you meen TGA Subcool himself. Great breeder, and a pioneer in making organic growing simple enough for about anyone out there. his strains are some of the most potent and tasty sativa hybrids around IMO.

Man. I'm so cultureless. I didn't even learn about the farmer's market until they stopped allowing free samples. I've been looking around for a place to try the Cloud in Seattle and it turns out I could have done that this weekend. Is there some kind of woof style alert system I can use to be told when Slim's cloud leaves his house? :p

I give free rides to the monthly farmer's market for all Seattle cloud owners, just bring your cloud as proof of purchase.

Alright, this post is a bit long in coming, but after having had my cloud for an entire weekend, I have to say I love this device.

It just has a fantastic ritualistic feel to it (kind of like hitting a bong). It produces such nice, thick, tasty hits while being kind to the throat. It is fantastic!

Quick question for the group and apologies if this goes against any forum rule.

Does anyone know the current lead time for Cloud orders? I imagine it will be a bit backed up due to holiday. Thanks to anyone that may offer some insight!

Sorry don't know exact time. I can tell you I placed my order on a Thursday and received it the following Tuesday. I placed my order relatively recently too, some time in august. Cant imagine their too back-ordered for the holiday. If you got the money give it a shot you wont be disappointed...

Well I got myself a case of strep throat. It amazes me how smooth the cloud is. I am able to medicate with much less pain then when I got strep throat in my combustion days. One tip, for anyone having issues it to give yourself at least 5 minutes between big hits. The first hit always seems to go down fine... even if I vaporize the entire ELB at 3'oclock. I decided to try another one right after the first. It was to much for my throat/tummy and the proceeding coughing fit was not overly pleasant.

So a few tips for people who are sick and still want to use the cloud:

Don't chain hit the device
Wait about 5 minutes between ELBS
Load smaller ELBS
Take Smaller Hits
Turn the Temp down some, but not so much that you don't get your desire effect.
Those tips should make the session less painful/distressing.

I got myself some antibiotics... I should be back to normal in a day or two.

I hope everyone has a fantastic Thanksgiving this year!

I hope you get well soon!

I too battled a little case of strep, a couple weeks ago now. I have to say, having had strep a couple times back in my combustion days as well, the Cloud made the experience much more pleasant! Much like SliM mentioned, I was able to medicate fine, albeit at a slower pace than usual. I ended up following a similar routine to what is posted above.

As well, happy Thanksgiving to all!
