Vaporfection Using Shill Posters

Well this is all very unfortunate. The whole incident speaks for itself. That being said, I personally wouldn't mind waiting two more months for a potentially nice vape, but I do regret paying for a product which is not yet in production, and I hope my money aren't lost.

I've come to enjoy this forum a lot in the short time I've been here. Big thanks to the mods, who are doing a great job.

It's nice they responded...
But he never actually says he fired her...
And what if the "internet protocol" is just a proxy to hide the IP?
I think they meant that the "now formal" bit to imply they fired her, but they didn't quite say they fired her, plus they're shilling, so I trust 'em even less than I did two days ago (and I didn't trust them much either then.) Upsetting to see people so blatantly shill on here, but it did feel really "robotic" reading "her" posts.

I am certainly willing to give Vaporfection the benefit of the doubt based on my experience with the ViVape2 and with their custo et service. It is impossible to monitor every employee all of the time and sometimes new peole, eager to impress at a new job, will overstep their bounds. I will forgive and forget, leave my money on my preorder for the MiVape nd be cautiously optimistic that all will be good.

My thoughts exactly. I had only good experiences with Vaporfection. This episode won't change my opinion on them one bit.

For what it's worth, the Allison Sullivan and Vaporfection accounts have made posts within minutes of each other from the same IP. Denying any knowledge of what was happening and putting it on someone else is the standard play here. Considering all of the information we have, I find that scenario difficult to believe.

Same story from all the manufacturers that have been caught doing this. Funny how history repeats itself.

This wasn't the first time that Vaporfection has been caught shilling:
http://www.tokecity.com/forums/showthread.php4?t=8729

I was considering the ViVape but there is no way I'll buy from them now. Apologizing after getting caught isn't sufficient given their prior history of deceit.

The only way to get companies to stop this kind of behavior is to make it economically nonviable. Zero tolerance is the only way to correct this problem... and zero tolerance means Vaporfection gets zero of my $$.

Well, this is getting ridiculous. I was prepared to wait for the miVape despite this incident, but the fact that I'm supporting this company is really beginning to leave a bad taste in my mouth.

Another thing: What vtac says seems to indicate that Allison Sullivan and Vaporfection may be the same poster. If so, what Vaporfection/headabovewater120/the President of Vapor Systems International said can't possibly be true -- that is, it's not just a matter of a new employee "crossing the line of observation."

I'm a bit torn with respect to their products. On one hand, I just received the viVape and can't wait to try it, but at the same time, I'm left wondering: How can they make a product that is "cleaner, healthier and smarter than anything [I've] experience [sic] before," when they're not even competent enough to use a VPN?

That's easy. Lots of people who are competent in their field know nothing about how the internet really works.

This incident says nothing about their ability to produce a good vapourizer. It says everything about their lack of marketing ethics. You are free to conclude that a company that would stoop to shilling like this might also lie about their production materials and methods, but we've seen nothing in this affair that would support such a conclusion.

I don't own and have never used a Vaporfection product, but I don't trust a company that does this sort of thing. I wouldn't recommend them or buy from them, but my decision is based on their morals not their competence in producing vapourizers. If I owned one and was happy with its performance, I wouldn't get rid of it because of this.

It's a shame that a company has to pull such tactics. I mean just be honest with the customer on here, and that's it. It's easy. VapeXhale does it.

To be fair, the vaporfection address is a pretty large complex, not sure how big suite 200 is but i remember when i sent mine back for repair Amir said that they never brought it out to the warehouse to inspect it or try and fix it or something, i dunno it was a while ago but did i got a brand new one sent overnight the next day anyway. Looking back Dont know if that was a lie to make me not mad since i purchased the overnight replacement thing but if true than they have multiple buildings.

So it is reasonable that Dan or whoever usually posts for veporfection and "allison sullivan" could be posting from the same ip address without even knowing it...however, if allison sullivan was her real name, then it is completely vaporfections fault for not getting rid of her immediatly and letting us know what happend

I never said they lied about their production materials and methods. However, I do feel slightly more worried than before with respect to their general trustworthiness when they make promises such as "cleaner, healthier and smarter than anything I've experienced before," "fastest delivery system in the industry," "far superior quality vapor," that I "can't go wrong" etc. But people seem very pleased with the vV and I've ordered both the vV and the mV, so naturally I'm hoping for the best.

Right, and I didn't mean to imply that you did. I was using "you" to mean anyone in general and was a bit careless about how it came out. Sorry.

For what it's worth,Vaporfection posted a message a couple of weeks ago on their Facebook page that they were looking for a blogger. That might be Allison Sullivan...

My bad, English is not my first language, and sometimes things get lost in translation, haha.

It's generally a good idea for a business to properly train and supervise new employees.
