It might sound weird, but Cirque Du Soleil soundtracks are amazing music to get high to. Especially Alegria, Mystere, Varekai, and Delirium... They will carry you to other planes of existence.

Im not a big electronica or techno fan, but this band called urban myth club (find on itunes) is actually pretty cool, besides that, not to be cliche, a ton of jimi hendrix live and studio, greatful deal, and my favorite PHISH.

another really good laid back song to vape to!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mMV8fxGMDfw Kivimetsan Druidi - desolation - white wolf

i love this song as it is not folk/death metal in nature but more laid back folk metal with soft hints of a beautiful opera undertone :) the first 2 minutes are instrumental but about half way through the 2nd minute she comes in with a nice voice that just grabs me and doesnt let go :) enjoy

Does anyone here use grooveshark? (Grooveshark.com) Great flash-based site that allows you to listen to pretty much anything - and it has a searchable database. Imagine Pandora, but you get to build your own playlist rather than taking whatever comes your way.

Anyway it's possible to copy song URLs directly from their engine. Here's my favorite from the new Destroyer album, "Kaputt": http://listen.grooveshark.com/s/Suicide+Demo+For+Kara+Walker/3oZris

For those who aren't familiar with him/them, Dan Bejar is the everything behind the name, a brilliant singer/songwriter from Canada who writes some of the most literate, unusual, beautiful pop music out there right now. If you enjoy the above, here's a link to the whole album: http://listen.grooveshark.com/album/Kaputt/5307587

And here's Dan:

I really like underground rap/hip hop, perhaps that's showing my young age a bit. I like the stuff with a meaning behind it and real nice to listen to. Artists like Talib Kweli, Common, Mos Def, Immortal Technique, Canibus, Jedi Mind Tricks, Army of the Pharoahs, Diabolic, Ras Kass, etc. Some may be a bit too aggressive/apathetic for some folk, but I really appreciate the difference of opinion and more complex style. I love me some old school, too - Wu Tang Clan (LOVE), Big Pun, Big L, 2Pac, B.I.G, Nas, KRS-One, etc. This is not to say I don't like other types of music, just what I prefer. I have been known to listen to reggae, techno/trance/rave, pop (yes, pop!), soft rock, oldies and even the garbage the put on the radio nowadays that's real catchy but has no meaning or moral fiber behind it. I like music that makes me feel good, but at the same time won't dumb me down, generally speaking. Music is awesome!

I like to vape, smoke, eat and just get plain stoned to any form of PSY-TRANCE (GOA TRANCE)....especially Dark Trance and Organic psy-trance - Im not talking about the commercial psy here - its totally different.

Its a genre of electronic music that is VERY difficult to get used to and to like, but it produces the most TRIPPY and emotional feelings ever. It took me about 2 months to get used to it......I totaly hated it at 1st, then I got a semi OBE from just listening to it sober and fucking loved the way it alters my thinking just like weed does. After that I smoked and listened to it....WOW ...."WTF is that sound, its not coming from my speakers wtf, wtf is going on - this is too much noise, wow how beautifully in and out of sync" - it can really become a mind fuck but the emphasis is how it can make you CRY with joy for no apparant reason whether stoned or not.
