Life Saber (LSV) by Elev8 Vehicles

I've gotten some of my glass at a LHS, and most of it through FC. Check out the glass forum, a lot of good info about where to get glass there. There are a number of glass workers who get great reviews. I've ordered from a few of them, they usually have stock stuff on their websites and of course will make custom pieces. Be sure to read the glass 101 at the top of the thread. I also recommend not spending a lot on your first piece. Find out what kind of setup you like before spending the big $.
Gotcha! Good info. I'm not really new to glass, just vapes. I know I want to add a nice bubbler for strictly non combustion. I already have a left coast WP that will be used for the rare combustion sessions that I want to add an ash catcher to.

can i stick my male joint in there?
thanks boobs...does it cook pretty evenly with that circular motion you were using?
that was an older pic, the circ motion doesn't help much but i still kinda like doing it, hahahah i always get a dark spot in the middle, so i stir inbetween every hit.

Love the vid I am definitely jealous of your set up. I want the same thing with just a larger bubbler. Is that a grav ash catcher? What do you think of it? I was eyeing them up I really like the idea of throwing an ice cube in there.

Bravo sir!

the grav lab AC adds alot of drag when used with water. also the design is not very vape friendly. it ended up being more of a hassle to use it then anything.

Cool, scratch that off my list then. Need a low drag AC and bubbler. Guess I'm off to the glass section.

I got my blue lsv with a custom knob just now, it was packaged beautifully, They threw in a blue accented direct draw tube aswell so thats pretty nice of them.
im about to plug it in and give it a whirl.
im guessing i have to burn off all the stuff on the element before using like the SSV?

What a guy!
Yep just like SSV let it run to burn anything off from manufacturing. I look forward to hearing what you think.

Omg Im in love!!
I have owned the Cloud, herbalaire, ssv, and solo And i can easily say the LSV is my favorite,
so nice looking and I can get huuuuge rips with it, no air restriction!
its just basically a perfect vape imo I prefer to use water filtration so I think the ssv will be put away for now hah!

First of all, if you break the cloud (which my cat did) you cant fix it, you cant replace any parts on it
All of 7th floors stuff is interchangeable
second is price obviously
third is heat up time, the cloud can take up to 15 mins to heat up, this thing can be ready in like 3-5
fourth is you dont have to use those stupid ez load bowls which too me arent fun to use
fifth would be that IMO the hydra tubes arent anything great, I would just prefer to spend 189 on the lsv and spend another 200 on a nice stemline or something like that
to me thats more than enough reasons =)

Thanks blais, those are more than enough reasons to go with one over the other. I appreciate the cander and the time.

I have a dbv and it has crossed my mind more often than not to trade for an LSV. How do you compare them in user experience and using them dry? With water i think it evens out, no?

I personally cant stand vaping without water filtration, It kills my throat and I cough 5x more,
so I would just say go with the DBV or SSV if you prefer no water filtration
LSV if you use water filtration no question, its nice and small but heavy and feels solid
I would say buy a adapter for your DBV and try out some vaping with water filtration and if you like it more, switch to the lsv

Has anyone made the switch from a dbv or ssv to the lsv? It seems like it is much better suited for water pipes, and ditching the whip seems very appealing. Its all supposed to be the same internals and heating element though, which is what is deterring me.

For those with the lsv and the cloud (Sticks?) how does the vapor production compare. I still find myself combusting, as the dbv through a wp is not nearly as satisfying hit-wise.

edit: ah it looks like a few posts up people answered that very question!

I think vapor is vapor, people saying there cloud gets them higher, are just simply thinking that because of all the hype, and it gets to there head, which in turn makes them think they are getting higher,
but thats my opinion, I have used both and I think they both produce the same quality/amount of vapor
Lol i just put some compressed kief into the vape and I couldnt even hold in the hit for like .5 seconds I started coughing so bad lol, it definitely works I will have to take smaller ones tho
Gotta stop using this thing and study!

both are big hitters and supply a lot of dense vapor. imo the cloud delivers better flavor though out the whole bowl and is easier to use with glass. but LSV has one of the best warm up times out of all the vapes,2-3 mins and its good to go, i can be fully baked in like 10 mins. it also handles hash and concentrates better than the cloud. both are super solid vapes i own both and don't see myself selling either of them. although i must admit the lsv has become more of a cloud backup and traveling vape.

lou...I will definitely chime in after this weekend when I get my lsv. i bought the lsv to be a cloud backup, as i still have a little wait before my next one. my guess is that you will get differing opinions on the two from myself and blais.
