Hey how do you guys keep our whips clean? (giggity)

I soak mine for a few hours with dish detergent and salt, then rinse really well. I'd say I do this maybe once a week. I keep the rest of my equipment very clean. My wand is in great shape and so is everything else... the whip stinks to high heaven though. Can anyone help me or is this just something I'm going to be replacing a few times a year?

Hi guys...signed up to this forum a few years back but been missing in between! Now we're back and active and here to input & help!

A great tip for keeping a good clean hose is to put a dome/ hat screen over the end that goes into the wand..you can use the Arizer hat screens or maybe get an oversized screen and fold it round the hose end that inserts into the wand. This acts as a double filtration as the bits that get through the first screen and travel through the wand should get stopped by the second screen before it gets to the hose. This will make you hose stay cleaner for a lot longer time trust me! I can get a pic to show ya'll if anybody really needs but hopefully this makes sense.

i don't do a heavy pull on mine... a very light pull just to make some bubbles and fill the can... then i lift out the hose/adapter and pull harder to clear the can

I don't really do a crazy heavy pull, but I find that with the bubbler you can experiment and pull a little harder. I def pull harder than i would just a dry vape hit

That video is awesome, Vitolo. Song is badass.

My issue is I that for the first month or so I had the idea of letting it get pretty dirty before cleaning it (for the purpose of saving the hash).

I clean my whip the way you showed me, Vitolo, it just still stinks to high heaven. The main thing I do different is no wet/dry vac for me. My house floods so the wet/dry vac is used for dirty work lol. Under no circumstances will I vape out of anything that vac touches.

I'm thinking the key may be to KEEP it clean rather than let it get dirty for a hit or two of vapehash. If I keep it clean and let the whip hang dry I should be good. I swirl it around and shake it up pretty good before I let it hang. I wouldn't say I get every moisture molecule out of there or anything though. I wonder if that's my problem.

Moisture removal is a key aspect of a clean whip, for sure.
Moist spots... do dry to a physical "spot", that while not appearing 3 dimensional, has aspects of minerals etc, from the evaporation of the drop. The vacuum seems to eliminate this. In absence of vacuum, I hold one end of whip, and spin it around like crazy (in the fashion of an ancient David vs. Goliath slingshot!)
Vapor condensation (and further scents)seems to be attracted to the mineral deposits, and gather there fastest.
This is why I try to eliminate!

1.5 year old DBV tube, been cleaned daily.. stained but almost odor free(and spot free!)... other than normal vapor smell (pleasant)

Yea I mean I could get another wet dry vac, but the truth is all thats gonna happen is the next flood I'm gonna have two wet/dry vacs sucking up dirty city rainwater. So the shopvac is out. Just trying to rack my brain for a solution. I'll just have to keep my eyes peeled for something long enough an thin enough to push paper towel pieces through or something.

I do not know if you have a window air conditioner; but I turn mine on the fan setting and put one of the tubing ends through one of the air-outlet-grates. Air gets forced through the tubing (you can feel it at the unattached end) and the tubing usually is completely dry in less then an hour.

thanks Vitolo but all i am getting is an answering machine and the message is the box is full and i can't leave a message. :( my trusty buddha is acting up on me after being so faithful for so long. it's not totally broken so i am trying to see what my options are. i can't find my receipt (even though i know i have it here somewhere) and i am not sure how long my warranty is. the site says 3 years and if that is the case i am out of my warranty, but i bought it awhile ago and i could have sworn i had a 5 or 7 year warranty when i bought it. i may be wrong as i have a swiss cheese brain but i wanted to call and find out what my options are

They have a 3 year warranty, and to the best of my knowledge it has always been thus.... BUT- (light at end of tunnel)....
The deal is... after warranty ends... ANY BUDDHA that is damaged .... even if run over by a tank, can be repaired for 25 dollars.

I don't know for sure if that's still the case. I remember somebody mentioning at one point that they discontinued that when 7th floor started selling the "extended warranty" - I would have to look into that.

Just so you know, if you're in UK or EU we can get your unit serviced locally in warranty or very reasonably out of warranty also to save you having to send it back to US. Our distributor carries out repairs and warranties on behalf of 7th Floor to make it easier for its customers.

yes it is still the case as i just spoke to them. out of warranty repairs are $25.00 plus the costs of shipping to and from them. they are sending me some troubleshooting steps to try first but if that fails... i don't think the cost to get it repaired is bad at all.

Thanks Vitolo for the information

Is there any discounts on da buddha going on that anyone knows about? I'd like to purchase it without compromising the warranty.

Many of the retailers here on FC offer a variety of goods (extras/perks) as well as discount codes.
Many of the retailers that are listed have the discount codes right here... posted in the retailers threads are the most reputable in the industry, and they have codes listed!
Guys like: PuffItUp, PlanetVape, VapeWorld, VaporStore, VaporNation, VapoShop and you will find them all here.. so look at their websites, and then look at the above links for the discount codes~

Good find , hoptimum, but please double check.
The words "by 7th floor" are there as an implication... and can be interpreted as them telling who made it (which is the case here).. touch the words 7th Floor... and see where the link goes.
Read on to note it is sold by "easy vape" and "fullfilled by Amazon".
I looked further and saw even lower costs.
Check the codes here , and consider supporting a dealer that supports us.
You might find with the code the price is comparable
