I was using that technique early on Future, it works well, and you get to possibly squeeze out any left over juju from the ABV too, if you push it up to high before you finish. I was using lighter ABV so I could get a little more out of it. I have since found that my Pax is mainly getting used at night by the bed side, so one full load can last me several rounds on low/med, with a few stirs in between.
It'd be cool if we could get some stoner ingenuity thrown at finding a method to stir, without actually opening the oven.

Also, still wondering what the point of attaching the pax to a water piece is :p

ipax,
Hi, I'm new to the forum, but have been lurking for awhile - long enough to read all 185 pages :ko:
I finally broke down and ordered the amethyst Pax and am looking forward to having it delivered tomorrow! This will be my first vape experience of any kind - can't wait. Thanks to all who posted on here - newbie though I may be, I feel prepared for my first vape session. Will let you guys know how it goes.

I keep having trouble with my mouthpiece not making good contact on warm-up. It starts but if I move the Pax at all or sometimes without any movement, it starts to flash the current temp light instead of the warm-up blue/purple light.

Even after I've cleaned down inside the spring for resin, it just seems a little too high maintenance, or not fully tested and perfected. What do you guys think?

Pax sure is nice to look at! And when it works, the hits are better than any other portable I've tested or reviewed. Check out my pax sitting pretty next to the iPhone5: https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?...83427426.39030.164562863682188&type=1&theater

has anyone ever thought of customizing their pax like adding a sticker or something? i was thinking about adding a full body sticker with cut outs for the light and the sign on the back. but i would also like to be able to peel it off with ease with out making a mess on my pax. does anyone know what type of sticker this could be?

I was also thinking there may be like a small sleeve cover i can slip on the pax or something like that... itll be cool to see the light glowing from under the fabric sleeve... i just dont know whats something similar to this i can probably use on it.

reason being is too prevent pax from getting scratched... mine already has a couple scratches and makes it look ugly in my opinion

I enjoy my Pax, but it took me a while to get here.
My opinion.
My first Pax had light problems that required a repair.
The unit came back stuck on high power, but it functioned this time.
In the interim I used a friend's Pax, with which I made my Pax video.
Vapeworld did an amazing job of keeping after this with me, and they moved fast, and were sympathetic to my difficulties.
I laughingly compared using my Pax at first to using that crazy elevator in the movie "Thoroughly Modern Millie".
Check it out for fun, but PLEASE read on.
Pax changed to me, when Vapeworld sent me this new one that I use today.
It works as it should… and that is well.
A minor "drag" on a well prepped oven, gives rich enough vapor that when swallowed with a full breath of clean air… I was shocked at the cloud of vapor that the concentrated hit had allowed me.
The flavor is good every time… and clean.
Everyone has already complimented it's looks and style, so I won't go there.
I like the self contained aspect of the unit for use on the go.
It does use quite a bit of meds.. that is a fact…. but if you are vaping "on the go" with a 250 dollar tool, you could overlook that.
It does require a different cleaning routine than other vapes. It needs to be touched up more often, and in a more precise way… remember, the smaller the diameter of any tube, the faster buildup on the inner walls can "close in on you".
I believe that the trouble with reviewing vapes at times, stems from (haha… "stems") our compulsion to compare a vape to one we used before… and this can make our words sound negative.
I won't compare the Pax to any other vape, or to another vape's cleaning routine.
Every tool, a tool unto itself.
So from this point of view, I am going to say, the Pax is great… a good tool that has it's own demands, and it's own routine.
Every vaporizer, like every person, has baggage.
With some vapes… the whole package becomes unappealing..
(like a vape that gives smooth monster hits, but requires 40 minutes to clean up and another 10 to set back up).
I felt the Pax just another pretty face, but with my new altered perceptual view here.. I concentrate on the Gestalt. The whole package here.
I love the Pax.

New Pax owner here!! Absolutely in awe of this device. Happy as hell.

Without going through all the 186 pages here, can someone easily tell me what I need to use for a car charger? Ploom should really offer something on thier website. Ideally if someone can give me the specs I need so I can try and find something locally. I can't wait to have something shipped, I need it this weekend!

I don't know how I missed that green pax pic... WOW!! Nice work Boobs! Slick! goes with your Cloud nicely too! Great color BTW! Although, I hope painting it does not void the warranty.

Vito as usual broke it down perfectly. The pax is a great overall portable vape that requires regular cleaning for peak performance.

I knew you'd come around once you got one that worked correctly :)

I had this issue too and then tried this and it solved my issue and it has not happened since..

With the mouth piece up in the ready to smoke position I took my thumb and very fast pressed the mouth piece in and out 6 or 7 times in a row.. Pressing it in hard with my thumb BUT Not pushing it down to the point where it locked but just right before that point.. I now do the each time I take the mouth piece off(For cleaning or changing the Temp setting) and like I said, since doing this I have never again had this issue.. I was about to contact Pax but tried this first.. I think a lot of the Pax's that are having this issue is just that the Mouth piece is not seeded correctly and making full contact.. Pressing it down 6 or 7 times hard seems to set it..
