I've been watching that mivape thread, and honestly, that thing looks huge! It's really hard to know if and when they will be available for sale, based on what I was reading. I won't say anything bad because I don't have any first hand experience, but if it were me, I'd choose either the pax or the INH over the mivape, just for size reasons alone.

so you don't have to pack it to the top for it to work you can put a little less for instance .3 id assume .6 would fill it to the top. thats good to know. Also i like that they stand by there product thats good i thought they didn't cover the battery but when its something like that they usually will. I'm off to go get one i don't think ill have any problems with the mouth piece getting stuck or other stuff so thats good. whats the best way to clean it youd say.
The battery issue wasn't originally in the warranty but they said they were working it in . The Ploom via Pax customer/technical service is on point, I can tell you that! If any serious problems occur Ploom will work with you if you still have the ten year warranty.

thx for sharing the pic!

How do you (owners of the PAX) feel that this vaporizer performs thru a water-pipe? Are there other portables I should look at that perform FAR better than the PAX, when running thru a water-pipe?
For those that have done so(including the poster of this pic), what adapter have you found works best to connect the PAX to a GonG joint, & where/what should I obtain to do so? This is the only thing holding me back..& otherwise am ready to purchase one!

If you have an 18mm joint then you can use just a piece of 1/2" inner diameter silicone tubing. The tubing fits nice and snug in an 18mm hole. I bought a dome for concentrates and it came with a reverse male on male adapter for the nail. One side is 18mm and the other side is 14mm. When I use the Pax I slide the silicone tubing over the 14mm end and slide the 18mm end into my glass piece.

Back to the carrying case discussion: I've got both the small Ryot hard case and the large. The Pax will fit in both. There's a good picture of the large on p. 111; there's plenty of room for the Pax and a few accessories. The small case is a tight fit and the Pax won't fit under the elastic strip; but the zipper closes easily and the Pax is well protected, cushioned, and cozy.

Love all the suggestions, those TV caps are nice as well!

Anyone have the shocksock neoprene iphone 5 case? I'm wondering how the size would work out.

Jambandphan: Loving those caps! oh so perfect they are! You know, when I see those, they are like giant MFLB battery caps! Love those things! and a couple big enough to fit on the pax! mwah! Perfect :)

BittenBagel I hope the Dimebag works for you for the pax, or for some glassware or other items that could use a little protection in a cute little bag like that. I got one of those canvas tote bags as well, pretty cool :)

Mhmmmhmmmmm do I love some vaporbonging! That piece looks great, fish man :) Lets see that baby in action!

I last posted in this thread all the way back on page 17. I finally am ordering my Pax with my next paycheck, only one question... Purple or black?

I don't think there are any best deals out there as they all seem to be $250 and free shipping, but there are differences in the freebies. Some offer free grinders or carrying cases, etc.

I'm ordering from VapeWorld. I've never ordered from anywhere before but I'm choosing VapeWorld because I've heard their customer service is amazing.

go with purple. It is pretty discrete and unless you are outside in full daylight, the color is not that noticable. Then when your home, you can enjoy having some color rather than plain old black

I was using that technique early on Future, it works well, and you get to possibly squeeze out any left over juju from the ABV too, if you push it up to high before you finish. I was using lighter ABV so I could get a little more out of it. I have since found that my Pax is mainly getting used at night by the bed side, so one full load can last me several rounds on low/med, with a few stirs in between.

I just wanted to add that I have ordered from VapeWorld many times and was always pleased.

Also, it was mentioned a few pages back about using regular screens in the Pax. I lost my screen the first week and stuck a stainless screen in there, thinking I would order a real screen ASAP. Well, that was months ago. I am still using the stainless screens and I seem to like it even better!

Yeah.. F* Combustion..
Been practicing about packing and flipping the brick.. I almost have it now. I have found that a well packed down, half packed oven.. you can get some tremendous clouds.

Been here since 2009
The packing is huge. I have my herbs in a jar at 60-62% RH. Fully cured, but not super dry. So when I load a fresh oven, it shrinks from the sides after a couple hits. I just re-pack with my pinky without turning after a couple hits. BOOM!
