I was too lazy to fill up my hydratube, so I am hitting the cloud dry. The results are very good. Thanks, Calvin, for posting the link to the site for the cases. I'm going to try to design one tomorrow.

You're so close newVaper420, you can almost feel it bumping around on the delivery truck. I hope you get a good one this time.

@ Purpl3_Haz3... nice job with the stand! We got better at it when we purchased new Dremmel tools and practiced a lot!

Thanks! I'm sure with practice, I could do better. Hope you liked/didn't mind the shout out in the video.

I hit my Cloud like this a lot. Very full, intense hits. Great for a quick med if you don't have a sensitive throat/lungs.

Great Scott!
So I received my bender from D9V and my batteries are charging but I have already found a 2nd use for its mouthpiece (great quality BTW): Cloud short turbo stem!

With an 18/18 female-female adaptor)
:D

I tried to do exactly this when I got my Bender lol. Didn't have the F-F adapter. Oh well bubbler it is :)

well i think i am getting a run around from VXH. as posted earlier the swagger double i got with the cloud, that came last friday, has issues: namely, there is (was) a lip of melted glass that obstructs the GonG such that the hydratube will not sit flush on the cloud, and i feel that the quality of workmanship is low as the percs are very off centre and lower one almost touches the inner wall, making it hard to clean. it also looks bad. my expectations of a $350 piece like this are that at least everything is centred.

I submitted a support ticked within 1 or 2 hours of getting the cloud, about the glass protrusion. on satuday i decided the out of centre percs were not going to fly so i send in another ticket about that. on sunday i got an email from Phil stating that I missed the 24 hour window for glassware warranty claims. huh? there is nothing in the paperwork that came with the cloud, nor that i saw on their site, nor anything posted here that i read about a 24 glassware warranty. he stated that i emailed the ticket at 3pm and because i got the cloud at 2pm the previous day, i missed the window. again... huh? further he said he would connect me with Swagger that would take care of it from here.

so i emailed back pointing out that i submitted a ticket before that, within a few hours of receiving it. nothing. i waited 2 days emailed again (to Phil directly). nothing.

So I think I am getting a run around. i expected more after an almost $700 purchase of basically the most expensive vapourize on the market. i am still going to try and get this resolved but i wanted to share my so far less than stellar experience with VXH.

Just as a benchmark, when i got my Solo it was one of the ceramic chipping ones. i bought it off ebay from a non-authorized seller. i emailed Solo and within a few hours they asked me for a pic of the chipping. i send that to them and the next day they express posted a brand new solo to me at no charge. told me to keep the other one. now THAT is good customer service.

VHX is you are listening... you have an opportunity to make this right. its in your ball court.

Bummer, Vaplexus. That really sucks, and you are right. At $350, your Swagger should look clean and nice, and the joint should definitely be smooth and airtight. That little lip is a remnant from the blowing process, and is on my SSFG hydraline too, but doesn't impede the male joint. If it does on yours, that is obviously a defect. The Swagger tubes I saw in person (3-4 of them) were all very symmetrical and nice-looking, but mistakes happen and are not always caught when large quotas have to be filled. I wish they would inspect every hydratube and only ship perfect ones, but that would slow things down even more and likely raise the price.

Whether you are a medical or recreational user, I know that it can be a day-to-day struggle to be without good tools, especially ones that already represent money out of your pocket. Money that could be spent on flowers or yummy munchies.

Nevertheless, please try to be patient. VXL is a very small company with very limited resources, human and financial. They are trying to do their best while still making a profit so they can grow infrastructure and develop new products. I'm sure they wish they could satisfy all of their unhappy customers without a hitch. But business is messy, and sometimes things/people slip through the cracks. I had a problem getting ahold of them for a few weeks. I sent 6 emails, called dozens of times, and left 3 voicemails. I was getting absolutely no response and started to lose my patience (that doesn't happen!). I definitely felt I was getting the run around until I PMd Stonemonkey and Troi and was informed that they have ONE person doing all returns, and last week he was driving the team back across the country after the LA Kush Expo because not everyone had a valid license. Without a designated marketing team, VXL had to drive their whole team across the country and back, including vital support staff, and customer support suffered. They will do things differently next time, but right now it is important that they get as much exposure as possible, and LA is a huge marijuana market.

Arizer is a different story. They have been around for a long time, relatively. There are thousands of extreme q and v towers in circulation, and they have been for years. Arizer can make a lot more money on these products now, and use that money to do stuff that makes customers happy, like honoring warrantys on gray market products. Without the same resources and market share that Arizer has, it is just not reasonable to expect VXL to operate like a big company with lots of infrastructure that can immediately send a replacement unit within a single day to all customers and eat the costs. There's only so much they can do at once, and it has nothing to do with the price of the product. It's all about the size and age of the company.

Obviously I can't guarantee it, but I fully expect Vapexhale to make this right for you. You just need to load a few more bowls and take it easy.

PS. Oh my god that's a lot of text. I wrote that in less than ten minutes after an espresso. I need some indica to bring me down.

I'm hoping my cloud is there when I get home. Even though expected delivery is today it didn't get till jersey till 12:30 today so I think I got one more day on the ground instead of being in the Clouds. Stupid USPS. Actually USPS is generally very good to me. It could be waiting for me at home. That would rock. But I think tomorrow :(

Edit: No Cloud today. Mailman came and it is not here.

newVaper420,
I just ordered mine today couldnt decide between the Swagger Shower or the Hydraline. Went with hydraline . How long do you guys think it will take to get to So Cal.

For ELB maintenance - hop to the drug store and grab an eyelash brush - they are cheap and easy to use and help provide a clean ELB a little longer before they go in the ISO and under the faucet in the sink on 'spray' mode with the pressure turned up pretty high. Those little jets of water will remove everything that the ISO freed up.

Haven't chimed in here in a grip, but I just gotta say...

Some of you guys really need to get fucking real. I mean taking ISO to the exterior of the Cloud and then wondering why the anodizing comes off?? Why in the fuck would you do something so utterly stupid in the first place?!!? It seems that some of you just do whatever you can to fuck up your Cloud and then wonder why it broke when it does. Come on!!

So you think that rubbing ISO on a purely cosmetic aspect of the Cloud causes the device to break and you're calling everyone else "stupid?"

Just checking in to report that my Cloud has been going strong virtually non stop for the last 45 days. I have been running Slims WeMo recipe without any issues. I figure I will take one for the team and test the Clouds durability. I will report if anything goes awry but as of now all is well.

BTW I have one of the older clicking models with the flared bamboo. And my bamboo is solid with no play up or down. Just for reference since I have seen discussion regarding differences.

I've vaked probably around a pound and a half of A+++ herb through my Cloud thus far. It's still kicking great, although the occurrence of combustion is A LOT more frequent then when it was brand new, so much so that it happens once every other day... and it sucks when it does. Be prepared because whatever room you're using it in will stink to high heaven for an hour or so afterwards despite the windows being opened. I actually got to know my SSV much better because of this reason.
Speaking of that the highs produced from the two units are quite different imo. The SSV has much more of a learning curve to it than the Cloud, but once you get it down it's a more up, and quite frankly devastating high. My eyes get waaaay more bloodshot with the SSV making it nearly impossible to hide.
The fact that the Cloud can be used with glass pieces gives it the edge over everything else, plus with the vapor going through water you don't get that inevitable dry/soar throat after heavy usage.

SliM, I like the look of your setup...I can picture the HL squeezed in there, but it would be tight! I'm still torn between a couple different cases. I will feel so much better about traveling with my Cloud with a nice case though.

Congrats on the new ELBs Tstat! A long time coming with just one to hold you by!

Mine has been going pretty straight, since acquiring the WeMo, without an issue (aside from it being pretty much piping hot, all the time, except the first sesh or two of the day). Otherwise, I'm loving my 'always on' Cloud. If a Cloud's gonna die from continuous use, it will probably be SliM, but there are a few of us WeMo users who are close behind, I'm sure!

Did your unit combust AT ALL when it was brand new? Mine was 8 months old when it kicked the bucket, but it never once combusted. I feel like the Cloud shouldn't combust at any time (of course excluding the use of the bottom of the bamboo as a carb) unless there's an issue of overheating.

I have seen my unit combust only once. This happened when a friend of mine was trying it out for the first time. He was taking his hit and was about to clear but didn't remove the hydratube from the cloud. So when he pulled hard to clear the bowl combusted and devastated him.

Other than that my cloud has never combusted
