Great Scott!
im done with this pax

this is crazy.. 250 and u use it a few times and it doesnt function how its supposed to unless u start cleaning. i been cleaning this after every use cuz it gets stuck

i cant recommend this to anyone, pax has been a headache.. damn!

This is why I'm glad I asked. Personally I'm one who cleans quite often, so this won't be a problem for me, but this could be a deal breaker to some people.

EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE

so i had an issue with the temp button because of iso. it wasnt much at all so it somewhat fixed it self but after a few days i missed the easy one click and decided to send it in on monday, i got it back today. Very fast, they sent me a whole new unit.

the new units seem to be sent out with some kind of PG around the mouthpiece and after talking with Ploom chat, it is nothing to do with the temp button just to help the new mouthpiece move.

i am overall extremely satisfied with the customer service they provide

they sent me shipping labels and returned it, so not extra cost to me, and answered all my questions, before, during, and after purchase and exchange, thats customer service you see in the big companies, not usually in this industry. very impressed.

All of my interactions have been good with Ploom CS. I even chatted to tell them how impressed I was and to thank them, to break the monotony of dealing with customer's problems. Things are still running smooth here, since cleaning around the spring area...

Hmmm... I've always packed the oven since that is what was recommended in the directions. I'll definitely have to experiment with different loading amounts.

But as for temperature, I usually start off on low and then bump it up to medium after a while. I find that this allows me to conserve the most amount of product. :)

I try to conserve as good as possible. I just picked up an eighth of sandwich meat, I am hoping to stretch it as much as possible.

Interesting... that'll be great if the PG will help lubricate the mouthpiece and perhaps prevent sticking issues in the future. Hopefully mine will come with the new one. I got my shipping notice today. :) So excited!

I think that will be my method. I am hoping to conserve and completely switch over to vaporizing.

We're here to fuck shit up.
I stayed up all day (7am to 4pm) off a single fully and tightly packed oven of Lemon Kush today. The temperature never left the low setting. A bunch of stirs throughout the day and the ABV wasn't all that dark when I finally emptied it. I find the key to consistently good hits is the wait time between hits to let the oven heat back up and start producing vapor again. Every time I think it's done this little guy just keeps spitting out vapor.

I had a battery issue with my Pax, which is no problem to me with the 10 year warranty and reached out to the support section on the Ploom website via chat. The "technical" and "costumer support" is outstanding! A simple chat with the awesome support chat team and I am sure they will have any question of yours answered. For me they quickly assured me I could send it back after I explained my problem and I did(:razz:they cover shipping:razz:). Aside from the battery issue my Pax worked flawlessly every single time with .3 bows lasting a good long while! Especially a fully packed Pax, which I mean FULLY PACKED TIGHTLY, will hit FOREVER. I am already missing my Pax greatly and it has only been two days! I cant take this much longer!!!

I had a problem with keeping my Pax in the charger overnight. I think once the battery is full the unit stops charging, but the light stays on which should be draining the battery. I took my Pax off the charger after a full night and it was flashing yellow when I shook it. I had to put it back on the charger and let it charge fully again. Now I take mine off the charger as soon as it's done charging.

I leave mine on the charger all night long, and don't have this problem. When I wake up, it's green. (I'm pretty sure anyway. I'll double check tomorrow).

Been here since 2009
Dreamerr I'm curious, so correct me if I'm wrong here. You don't have a Pax and I believe you've stated many times you don't intend to get one, so why hang out here with the rest of us? It's a free country, certainly, but it seems odd to me.

Questions like this are inappropriate. She doesn't have to explain herself. I follow several threads for devices I don't intend to get, not because I'm a moderator but because I'm just interested in them.

Getting back to issues, I have had great luck this week with the mouthpiece! It almost seems like it is "broke-in" or something.
The way I approach it now, is if the mp is working fine, I pretty much don't clean it much. I clean around the spring area with a toothpick every day, but not with ISO.

Glad you are having better luck Tstat! Did you ever get that screen replaced? Looks like VW just started shipping back ordered screens.

When the pax is on the charger and the light is green the unit is trickle charging(Ploom chat). Looks like your pax or charger are not doing the trickle and the light is draining ur battery. My first unit wouldn't trickle and after sitting on the charger on green for a few hours I would reseated it and it would start charging again. Hit up ploom, get yourself an shinny new pax:D

Always in a state of confusion and silliness♀
Someone said earlier in the the thread that it made a difference which way the pax was facing in the charger so maybe try putting it the other way.

Fair enough. I'm still curious, but fair enough

Im notorious for hating the solo after once loving it. I still pop in every now and then to see if they make changes or to check out things like that REALLY cool user made battery upgrade. I don't tend to say much in threads of vapes I don't like, but I still read. And on the polar opposite side I haven't posted in the Underdog thread in months. I rarely ever say a word in the cloud thread. Those are 2 of the best vapes I've ever owned, there just isn't much to say because everything is still working the same with no changes made/needed IMO.

If anything I tend to be more vocal about things I don't like, either to hopefully save people a few bucks if they are similar to me, or to try to brainstorm ways to improve whatever product it may be. I may not get as many likes on the forums, but IMO its a much more productive method than posting "this thing kicks ass" every single day on the cloud thread. Believe me I LOOOOOOVE my cloud, but what else is there to post about until I get some new glass or something.
