Discontinued VapeXhale Cloud

Shit I can get a few good hits just bit loaded enough to cover the bottom of the ELB. It seems less is more! lol and I usually only turn my cloud up to 11, but that also depends on the strain I am using. Some need more heat.

That's one thing that always blows me away...the clouds I get with tiny amounts. I can put in enough to get just a small cloud, hardly enough to cover the bottom of the ELB, and get a good cloud. Most vapes, would give you that little bud, stretched over multiple hits. In the Cloud, I get just that, a Cloud. Even when it seems there is so little herb in the ELB, that it will float around and let air pass by, it vapes it so quick!

When I just want a taste, or have someone who's worried about over-doing it, it's perfect.

Ok, thanks VnS. I just tried a loose packed load, and that was the issue, I don't know when I started doing the tamp down, was on automatic. Thanks for helping me! :D

It's probably from your love of the Pax. :-) You def need to pack that one :-)

Are the numbers actual reflections of the amount of clouds produced? If so mine (256) is much older than I thought

I actually have no idea. LOL :-). I just knew my serial number. LOL.

I dont think it reflects the actual number. I just bought my cloud after the 4000 people bought theirs on sale. My cloud number is in the 300's.

I just wanted to chime in on the current discussions and note that I own one of the new non-clicking units. My bamboo doesn't seem to budge at all and I'm not complaining. The unit heat wise seems to be spot on...maybe a little cooler like 12 is really at 1, however that's only a guess as I have never used any other cloud and I usually am at 3 o clock cause I like the higher temps. The only thing I can really say is off on my unit is the green/red temp led. It turns green after 5 mins on any temp which kinda threw me off on my first vape session but now I just wait about 15 mins and its always producing great tasty vapor. The cloud is hands down still the most impressive vape I have ever used <3.

Hey guys, new FC member here. I've recently spent two months analyzing information about the entire vaporizer market and all the vaporizers I could find. Long story short (VERY long story) it's come to either the VXH or the VHW. Since some of you have had experience with both, I ask which is the BEST in terms of vapor quality (potency/flavor/density/etc.)?

Cannabinaut

Cannasseur and Glasshead
^I have both. No question. Get the Cloud.^

Edit: Before the Cloud came out the VHW was the best vaporizer you could buy. That's why you'll see a lot of rave reviews for its vapor quality. It was very fragile. Mine has since broken. Stonemonkey55, who worked for Vriptech, helped design the Cloud to be better in every way, especially durability. For a while he (and many others, me included) recommended the VHW. Now that the Cloud is available I can't see a single reason to buy a Vriptech.

I know this sounds stupid, but did you check your spam folder? I got an email the night I placed my order but they were using a different system then.

Edit: I agree with Purpl3 below. :-).

Well, you pretty much answered yourself lol. I would wait another day, just because they all are getting settled, and sorting through a lot of stuff. I think that contacting them tomorrow, if you haven't received a confirmation of some sorts, would be reasonable.

Today I got really high and mentioned gay sex in the Cloud forum. I think that was pretty weird. Haha when I get high my filter is the first thing to go! Take this as a lesson, kiddies: Don't toke and post!

Why, vaplexus, it sounds like you'd enjoy a visit to the Vapor Lounge within the forum, in which you'll find myriad tales of trippy vaped-out endeavors.

I've shared a few myself, including a time when I was worried about my Cloud. It was a Saturday night, and I had just taken down two ELBs, each loaded with a different strain--blue dream and caramelicious. I had loaded a third ELB with pineapple kush and became concerned when I didn't get any vapor after I started hitting.

I then realized I forgot to put the ELB in the Cloud before I began hitting . I've read about a few other FC folks falling victim to the same oversight as a result of getting "Clouded." :haw:

Whoa! i remember that. now i am afraid of whats going to go through my mind when i use the cloud for the first time. its going to be hard not to put my finger in the air inlet on the bottom.

OK...so I would like to support what sm55 is saying by sharing my own story. I recently contacted VXL because I have an older Cloud that runs hot. I talked to Phil and wanted an exchange for a unit that worked "properly." Phil talked to me about this and explained many things, but we danced around the obvious many times which is that a unit that's running a little hot is not at all broken...you just need to turn it down.

Anyway, I was in a bad spot for unrelated personal reasons and that fuelled, but does not excuse, my response. I unloaded on Phil and he still calmly tried to talk me down and we basically just went back and forth. Phil made me an offer and I walked away from the conversation, agreeing to contact him again at a later date.

Given some time to think about the situation, I realized how much of my frustration was coming from other sources and how the problems I was having with my vaporizer were seriously minimal, and could be entirely circumvented by me just being a little less lazy and using the Cloud at a temp other than 12. I've since talked to Phil and agreed to accept his offer, but I haven't followed through with it. I am waiting to make a final decision for several reasons, but most prominently among those reasons is that I still feel guilty. I feel like I'm going to put a burden on a start up company that is already flooded with burdens and I now agree that my Cloud is not dysfunctional. I would be upset if it didn't get hot enough but "too hot" really is a non-issue, IMO.

I had written earlier, in a private message to sm55, that I DO personally believe that their company is making the best vape for their specialized, targeted market, and that as a result of my honest belief in what they're doing, and my desire to see them succeed in their endeavours, I would be happy to do anything to help if there were ever any need. Well, the only need for my attention is to my own personal interactions with the company, I am ashamed to say.

This IS a small company, and it is run by some people that some of us know. That's what small businesses are all about...these are people taking risks because they believe it's worth it, so if you do too then you should probably stand behind that. VXL is seemingly doing everything it can to push to the top and it's doing it without the help of a "deep pocketed" private investor (as has been mentioned previously). That is hard enough, but they are doing this with a product that is very specialized and targeted at an extremely niche market. That market on a whole is not centralized or controlled either, as we know, since many of it's products are borderline illegal.

If you actually believe in this company and believe that their vaporizer is what we've been saying it is, they need true support on their way to the top. In a world that is more or less run by a shrinking class of wealthier and wealthier people, VXL is doing something that is driven by a dream and accomplished with hard work and perseverance. This isn't someone looking for easy street...not in my estimation, at least...this is a legitimate attempt to unleash something unique into the marketplace and what they are unleashing has the potential to revolutionize Cannabis usage, to a degree. I really do believe that and I feel horrible that I was willing to put another burden on a company that already has a lot to contend with. It is selfish, and it is not something I'm proud of, but I hope this story helps something think twice about what they say and do regarding VXL...just because their product is as legitimate as a big brand such as Volcano doesn't mean it's fair to look at the companies in the same light. VXL is basically Mom and Pop, jumping into a ring full of sharks in suits. It feels much "bigger" than it is but as far as I know VXL is small and trying to keep pace.

Anyway...this is all opinion and should not be cited as fact, so take it or leave it. Since I've taken so much space I also want to give props to Phil: that guy is the real deal. I unloaded on him, as I've said, and he never stopped treating me with respect and also was never condescending. I felt like he was trying to be as helpful as he could be.

Thanks for reading this if you did, and thanks again to VXL for everything: you guys rock and your vaporizer rocks me harder than anything else can. I enjoy it more and more every time I use it and feel completely blessed to have such a luxury in my life.

Edit: Also, regarding warranty replacement shipping, RMAs etc: not shipping the replacement until receiving the original "defective" unit and verifying the issues is completely standard and VXL should have been doing this all along. They tried to be nice, got burnt, and now understand the need to protect themselves. This is how it should be: it sucks to wait for a replacement but that's just the breaks--Sony or Samsung or whatever does the same thing for the same reason. So this is a good move on VXLs behalf IMO. It'd be nice if everyone were trustworthy and took personal responsibility but that's just not really the way stuff works...

:peace:

I just wanted to thank you or the kind words, and I'm glad that I was able to help you. We will get everything squared away.

A couple of nitpicky cautions-
HERBavore said:

VXH is better applied to the company, not the vape, and we're using VXL, for VapeXhale Labs (last reported official co. name). And using the company acronym for the vape works now, but it'll be confusing once they have another model to offer. VHW is correct though, since HW stands for 'Heat Wand'.

Cannabinaut said:

Careful there. You're presenting that statement as a fact, and it's not. No model can be the best in all respects, and prioritizing a vape's attributes is pretty subjective. The VHW was never a serious contender for my $, but that's not a reflection on it's quality, just my personal preference based on my own criteria.

Is your cloud in an area that gets cold? If it's to cool it will not start heating or clicking. The solution is to move it to a warmer area.
