Discontinued VapeXhale Cloud

Touch screens and bags and bells and whistles...take it or leave it, I suppose, but I for one plan on leaving it alone.

For me, the Cloud equation is a simple one. It is the vaporizer on the market that is the closest to the smoking ritual--once the cloud is heated you just pack a bowl, mate with your glass and rip away. I LOVE the fact that it is as simple as it possibly can be and that it was deisgned to be that way. Pair that with an all glass air pathway, superior heat retention and the fact that it is made in North America by a company I feel good about standing behind...yeah, there's no doubt in my mind about what my favorite vaporizer is.

The Cloud has done the same thing that the VHW 1.0 did to my vaporizing habit: I feel NO need to shop around. I am totally content with my vaporizer experience and I'm sure I will be until there is some other "revolutionary" product. IMO, the ViVape is not that product. It's great at what it does, I'm sure, but emulating the ease and comfort of the smoking/HQ glass experience but with thick, tasty clouds is not it.

If you love ripping hits out of HQ glass then I dunno, to me it's a no brainer: the Cloud is the only vape that was literally designed for this purpose. To each their own, but for me it is and likely will be the Cloud for a long, long time. Respect!

A bag would require some more creativity.

The Vapor Lung would work very well if bags are desired. The cap just needs to be drilled to accept an 18mm adapter. Would be nice for parties . Only the VapeMeister handles the Cloud. Less chance of breakage.

Ah, OK... I keep seeing the vivape2 in HT and Skunk, and have been thinking that I never hear much about it. It does look cool, but as many have stated, if you want to milk nice glass, the Cloud is miles ahead of anything else. I mean I love my EQ, though I hardly use it because I like glass. But if you seek variety (whips, bags, etc.) then the Q or this vivape2 are probably better choices.

Tstat,
If I wanted whips(I never liked bags) I would just use my da buddha. But I have an all glass dry piece for my cloud anyways? So I guess no need? You could minus the mini HT lol in the middle for the dry hit. I have bad lungs(from years of asthma) so I don't prefer ALL dry myself.

Guys I'm freaking out, I still haven't gotten my cloud back. Did they for sure ship out on Friday because I would think it would be here since Friday Saturday Monday Tuesday is day four.

I bought one on Thursday and emailed them. yesterday I got an email from a Phil saying it would ship today (which was monday). i did not get a email that it had shipped nor is the status changed on my order page on vapexhale.com. i emailed Phil asking if i'll get a tracking number but so far no reply. If that is any indication to you as to the status of your cloud, then it appears they have not shipped anything yet, new or replacement. or if they did, we are not being informed of it. i guess just be patient.

Wtf the date just keeps getting pushed back. Remember they originally said Thursday would be shipping date, now its Monday or Tuesday or Wednsday? I hate to say it because this is the best vape ever, but I am not at all satisfied with this warranty process. I think the main reason I'm so angry about this is because it could have all been prevented with a warning in the box to use a surge protector

ej2389, yes, they still haven't shipped my replacement unit. I am still waiting for my e-mail as well. They said that I will get a confirmation email when it is sent. You will probably get yours before mine. Hopefully today or tomorrow we should have the email. Last I heard, they were still in quality control cause they had a new batch in, so hopefully it should be passed QC and shipped out shortly.

That's just my speculation of course. I, like you, just can't wait to get my Vaporizer back. I think the huge amount of units they sold during that sale drained all of the inventory. (That's again just my guess).

Not trying to be a dick about this: I certainly understand your frustration and I would likely feel much the same if it were happening to me. That being said, that last statement is not really fair IMO. EVERY single piece of technology you can think of that draws power from a wall outlet will benefit from/should be using surge protector. In my experience not one of them come with a warning that states this. It's just sort of "common knowledge" that electronics are not actually protected unless you use a surge protector between the power source and the device. :2c:

Also, regarding the lag between updates from VXL: again, I'm sure this is frustrating (I am talking to Phil right now myself and have also had some lag between messages) but remember that VXL is still VERY small, and more than that their support staff just trekked half-way across the country for KushExpo, if I'm not mistaken, so I'm sure it'll take them a few to get back to full speed. Have faith, you will be taken care of as soon as possible :)

Absolutely. But since it's not my money, it's easy for me to say.

It's a good price. It'll give you a different hit than with the Double. But nobody but you can determine if it's worth it to you, to have a different style HT.

Right I will try and be patient and understanding of this. However I do feel the Cloud is especially vulnerable as it died on day 3 for me whereas I have never had any other piece of electronic equipment ever die on me from a surge. When I called the guy on the phone even said because of the type of heating element it is especially vulnerable. This is why I feel it warrants a notice in the box, if only to help the VXC team have less repairs to deal with.

This sort of post is inappropriate here because no one except VXL can answer your question. This isn't the VXL support forum and you should not expect a response here. If you get one, it is only because VXL support is being nice to you.

Hey buddy when did I ever say I that I demand VXL response on here? I didn't. I'm simply sharing my experience and yes hoping VXL does chime in like it appears they do sometimes.

Fair enough. TBH I haven't been following this thread as closely as I could be so I'm not familiar with this issue regarding the Cloud and a particular susceptibility to voltage spiking. All I know is that there are many electronics devices that cost much more than the Cloud that are also susceptible to surges and that also do not come with warnings.

Don't get me wrong; a warning is a great idea and it would be great to see VXL add this to future packages. However, IMO it's not fair to be singling them out and suggesting that it's "their fault" for not including a warning when in reality almost all electronics products you can think of are susceptible to the same risks and also do not come with a warning. Or, at least, they do not come with a warning that isn't buried deep in a technical manual that almost no one is sure to read

No you didn't. You just posted a question that nobody here can answer. We have a rule for posts like that:
  • Put some effort into your posting. Before creating a thread or posting a reply, please ask yourself: “Am I making a thread which is either funny, informative, or interesting? Does my reply offer any significant advice or help contribute to the conversation in any fashion? Is it on topic?”.

Ya let me be clear, I'm not trying to blame VXL and just be angry. I am really only posting this so maybe they can learn from the frustrations of a customer and improve their service.

I think it is appropriate because I wasn't mainly asking a question, I was sharing an experience. Also I didn't see you calling out vapor420 for wondering if they shipped or not earlier in the thread.

That looks like a question missing its question mark to me. You could have said "I wonder if..." but you didn't. Now give it up and move on.
