lol np man. i've vegged on it a lot too, esp at work. ended up buying some coins so i could get the minigun and a few other things, then bought more and got all the upgrades pretty much. except the weapon upgrades i dont have the level req for anyway. Still only came to about $5 and this game is definitely worth that lol

the THD ver on tegra3 devices is extra sweet, and i think theres a way to run it on non tegra devices too. meant to do that the other day...

Another Borderlands 2 player here, I'm having a lot of fun with it. I like the weapons that you throw when you reload, and they explode like grenades. I play Zero.

I keep killing myself with mine. I reflexively reload when I switch weapons...

Also: From Dust is enjoyable and quite serene to play while vaping.

Haha, I keep wasting ammo with those ones.
I almost never wait for the auto reload, so I find myself selling those ones pretty quick unless they have awesome stats... I found my first slag weapon (that wasnt a grenade mod) the other day - it was a pistol that exploded when you reload... So I kept it until I found my 2nd slag weapon - another pistol, with all better stats, no grenade style reload, and burst fire while zoomed
I'm up to approx 12 (8 is the minimum, but it can be up to 12) items I've always got in my backpack, plus my equipped stuff :D

I try to always have 1 of each weapon class, and 1 of each elemental type damage, shock being the least useful IME.

How do you guys handle the big mofos that have those iron shields?
Since I'm a siren, I just phase lock them and shoot around the shield, but aside from that, grenades seem to be the only way I can do much damage to them...

Also, I'm not sure if the missions just scale to your level, or if its because ive been doing as many side missions as possible, or whatever, but
***SPOILER ALERT***
Just after the mission where Sanctuary gets teleported
*** END SPOILER ***
My missions went from being fairly easy lvl 13-14 enemies (I just got to lvl 18) to moderately difficult lvl 19-20 enemies...
My fire elemental smg hardly makes a dent in them now :(
I had to switch to my corrosive smg (almost triple base damage, and similar elemental damage)

I'm excited for when they release the Mechromancer too.

I could talk about this game for days :)

I'm still very early in the game, but if anyone wants to add me and I can tag along sometime the GT: Big T is Buff

That's how I roll, ladies and gentleman.

I was trying to do some matchmaking but I couldn't find a game with grown ups in it so I soldiered on... alone...

Counter Strike : Global offensive is my habit lately, although I'm biased as I played 1.6 and CSS proffessionally.

It's not too bad, just really restrictive since CS was born out of user created maps and mods and they eliminated that entirely. Still better than COD IMO lol but then again I value realism lol

Ok, for my fellow borderlands 2 players, if you don't know about the golden keys, you got 1 for pre-ordering, and you can get one for signing up for gearbox shift in the extras sexton of the main menu.

The keys open up a gold cheats in sanctuary that should give you sweet loot (almost exclusively purples :)).
Anyways, since the keys are a one time use thing, it's probably best to save them up.
But now, if you follow Randy Pitchford (@DuvalMagic), he will occasionally be posting up codes for more keys.
One was posted the other day for 5 free keys, I missed it by a few hours :(
He's gonna be putting another one up in the next few hours, and a few over the weekend.

EDIT: oh, and I just found out about a glitch that lets you use your keys without losing them...
I've only done it a couple of times, but I've got some phat loot from it :D (a sniper rifle, and a rocket launcher, both doing approx double the damage of the ones I was using before that.

I can't express how epic this game is, esp in 3D.

Love the combat in this game, better than any other MMO i've played. The underwater combat is like zero G kind of shit, so much fun with the dodging and all. Love the mechanics of the game how when youre taken down you can fight to survive if youre on land or swim to surface to revive if youre underwater. The interface is so smooth and minimalistic and the game is just so smooth and well paced. You just play and have fun and level up while you run around and explore and do shit, youre not buried in menus or grinding or farming or shit.

Competitive TF2 Player here. Definitely a rarity lol. I just got Borderlands 2 though and I'd be down to play it in a couple weeks.

I'm currently playing through Kingdom Hearts while stoned. Any love for Sora and the gang?

Its no RPG but i would recommend Max Payne 3 - its definetaly worth to play it.
Very exciting game, super authentic. The story is told like a book.
Altough max drinks whisky every 10 minutes but at the end, he stopped alcoholism, got a bald plate and killed lots of corrupt cops.

One of the biggest misconceptions of MMO gaming is that it's "anti-social behavior". I couldn't disagree more. I've made life long friends playing MMOs. Seriously.

I have a bit of "loner's anxiety". It comes and goes. But I really don't like to be alone. And it was worse when I was a kid. Having MMOs to go to, whenever I wanted 24/7 (as long as the server was up), was a beautiful thing. I made real life friends on MMOs, WoW in particular. I play with some of my real life friends too. But they don't know about my character on the RP server... hee hee.

I don't play WoW anymore and don't have much time for online gaming in general. But I did love it once and I made plenty of friends playing that game.

Anyone here in the same pickle as me? As A child, a lot of my free time was spent playing video games.. from the original Gameboy all the way to the computer I built this summer that can run games like Skyrim on full settings, and Battlefield 3 very smoothly on close to full settings.. I also spent a lot of money on games this summer via Steam.. But something just isn't right.
As much as I tell myself that I want to play games, because they can be awesome and are usually fun as hell as well as amazing eye candy, I just dont feel like it usually.. even when im just sitting in front of my computer I usually cant get myself to play games..

So I guess this means I'm growing out of them (if you ask me why, Id say its because im 23 and have get to involve myself with any worthwhile activities that could potentially help produce income later on, so If im just sitting here in my parents basement playing video games I feel as if I'm selling myself short).

Anyway I just wanted to see if anyone else here has the same issue, and how they came to terms with it!
Peace!
