Oh yeah, one more question. Any recommendations on an affordable bubbler? The last glass bong I bought about 12 years ago only cost 70 or 80 bucks. Now they're called bubblers and are twice the price and half the size. I can't spend $200 for a bubbler. Am I shit out of luck???

You shouldn't have a concern about TOSV. It is a small operation so be patient.

I am on the same train mmenzie, I love my Solo but the Inhalater would make for a better on-the-go vape and possibly a better home vape too, as it can be plugged while in use and fits more weed in the oven... Waiting for a friend to decide about the exchange... Something also tells me that the INH and the vapor lung will be a match made in havens, lol

who said the solo was better? I believe that is all up to personal preference. Just wondering who said that?

I have a Solo and the main thing I dislike about it is the tiny amount it can hold. The second main thing I don't like is the glass stem which makes it more complex to carry.

Ever since I found about the Inhalater I've been wanting to sell my Solo to get it because it solves the 2 main issues I have with my Solo and is even more compact.

Is the Inhalator good compared to the Solo? From the videos I saw it seems to outperform it considerably, my Solo can't make anywhere near the clouds I see in Inhalater vids.

Has the issue of falling/loose knobs been solved? Are there any issues with current models being sold?

Is there any reason I shouldn't sell my Solo to get the Inhalater?

I'll wait a bit as I'm in the process of upgrading my Volcano to an LSV (ordered but not yet received, and Volcano not yet sold) so I'll let that vape upgrade complete first, but I don't see why I wouldn't upgrade my Solo to an Inhalater next.

wait a minute!! an LSV is an upgrade from a volcano? First of all there are apples to oranges but an upgrade? Oh and I can get just as big of clouds out of my solo as I can in my inhalator. What model solo do you have?

Well everyone that's tried both the LSV and Volcano (that I heard) by far prefer the LSV and stopped using the Volcano.

I was wondering about the Solo models I've been reading about, I don't see any model on mine, only a white sticker that might or might not have had something written on it originally. How can I tell and what's the difference between different models? I believe mine is one of the very first that was ever made, in fact I think it was a demo unit from before the first ones ever went on sale (though it's a final product).

Anyway maybe there are new Solos that make clouds like the inhalator, but mine can't, unless it's the lighting in the video exaggerating the cloud but I doubt it.

I also forgot to mention 2 other major problems of the Solo that the Inhalator solves:
-No screen so everyone's always spitting out bits of herb (just yesterday a friend was telling me "I don't like your portable I'm always spitting out herb")
-Can't use while plugged in (unless you want to spend a lot on a special adapter)

So it really does seem like it's quite a bit better than the Solo which is already a good portable.

I'll go in the Solo thread now to figure out what these "different models" are.

Hey guys, new to FC .. new to Vaping .. & 1st post here ..

I am probably gonna sound like a complete tard.. Cause honestly, I had know idea that vaping existed..

I sure hope though some of you guys.. JAM, Vitolo, or someone with the right info can help me with my confusion related to vaping..

So here is where I am coming from.. I am from India [never met anyone who uses a vape], I smoke about 4-7 joints a day [ weed or hash ].. And days when I meetup with my friends we smoke out of a Chillum..
Bongs are an occasional habit..

Apart from pot, I have sadly been a cigarette smoker for the past 7-8 years.. And smoke upto 8-11 cigarettes a day..

Now, before posting I did try to learn as much as I could about vaping [through FC & asking fellow smokers] //
Long story short, after reading the great reviews about the Inhalater I am pretty sure I wanna pick the device up..

I travel a lot, so a portable vape makes the most sense to me..


I hope to quit smoking cigarettes as soon as possible.. Though its not been easy, as [truthfully] I have been addicted for some time now..
I can keep some control over it, though cant go a single day without a cig..

I love pot [ weed or hash ] .... though back here in India we smoke village grown goods.. + it isn'tcompletely legal
I don't wanna quit using weed/hash..

Now for my noob questions..

1. I assume I can vape the weed [even the local grown] with the Inhalater with good results?

2. Regarding Hash, the way i have smoked till date with hash is by mixing it with tobacco.. cause .. well u cant just smoke hash just as it is.. wont burn well at all.. so question being.... is it possible to put a mix of tobacco and hash in the vaporizer and vape it?

3. Is it possible to use tobacco with vaporizers.. ? are there some different rules that apply to the heat settings on the vape that one needs to keep in mind?

4. If ever I am travelling and am unable to manage to buy weed, is it bad for ME as well as the Inhalater if I vape just tobacco.. ?

I apologize in advance if my questions are stupid.. would be great if some of you could help me with my confusions here..

Don't worry about being new to vaping friend, all of us were in your situation at one point.

As long as the greenery in your area is well cured and dried you should have no problem getting good results form the Inhalater. I'm not sure what the type of hashish that you have in your area is most commonly, but if you can crumble it in to a powder it would also work great in the INH.

You can certainly use tobacco with a vaporizer, but the temperature settings are different than with green. You want to keep the temperature low because tobacco has a much lower burning temperature than green. As well I don't think that you will want to use cigarette tobacco for vaping, it has alot of additives that don't translate well to vapor. If you can get pipe tobacco or natural tobacco without any additives you will have a much better experience. I remember reading somewhere (think it was the Magic Flight website actually) where they said that vaping tobacco is about 6 times more powerful than smoking it. If that is the case it is much more economical to vape it. You don't need to worry about damaging your inhalater, and as for it being bad for YOU... well it can't be any worse than smoking it...

I am still rotating around daily between all my vapes, just to keep in practice with them, and to appreciate each one's unique performance, and it helps me appreciate other things about the other vapes as well. INH has been getting the most use lately though, because I am re-vaping light ABV to make my good stash go further. The recent routine is to hit the Solo or Cloud with a fresh load, then dump that ABV into the light jar, then proceed to load the INH tube with light ABV and get 4-5 more good solid milkings from that. Dump dark ABV in different container. I am getting distinctive results from the different vapes as far as ABV goes. I can run the Solo on 7 and it will eventually stop producing vapor, when that gets dumped out, it still has some gold/green look to it. Same with the Cloud on lower temp settings (10-12). The ABV coming out of my INH is dark brown from setting 8, and water pipe combo. Luckily I have quite a bit of light ABV to keep me going through the day between green loads, sure stretches the stash.

Regarding Hashish, it varies where I buy from.. Either its the m.a.n.a.l.i cream which is sticky and wouldn't crumble by itself.. which is why as a addition we normally use cigarette or rolling tobacco to mix with it.. IMO, if there is no tobacco added to the mix and one tries to make it mainly filled with hashish then the joint tastes horrible.. and would barely remain lit..

However, if i score hashish from other areas in the country [lesser known sources ].. they are usually easier to crumble.. I guess i will experiment a little and see how well the less sticky hashish works in the INH by itself / without tobacco..
though i fear that a mix of crumbled hash if heated within the capsule would turn sticky cause of the heat..??

would you [or someone here who might have an idea] by any chance be able to give your opinion on how well pipe or natural tobacco goes with hash.. ??

One last question [and a hopeful one at that]..i have never smoked via a pipe or tried natural tobacco.. as mentioned earlier that I have been addicted to cigarettes.. in your opinion, do you feel that vaping either the pipe or natural nicotine will solve the purpose of desperateness to smoke a cigarette.. some friends suggested e-cigs.. though i find them really weird & lame..

The knob issue is resolved.

Our own tentative trials with resins has not produced satisfactory results. We do not recommend using clumps of resin as some have a tendency to melt and gum capsule and heating chamber.

Trials with natural cigarette or pipe tobacco are ongoing. These type of tobaccos do not, to our perception, produce satisfactory results with the INH004.

I've never tried vaping tobacco, but I've gone the e-cig route. How dare you call them "weird & lame"!

Just kidding. What kinds of e-cigs have you seen? I used to use the ones that look like actual cigs and thought the big devices looked ridiculous, but I've done a total 180. Like with weed vapes, I completely geeked out on the technology. FYI, I use the Provari.

I was a pack a day smoker and started smoking 14 years ago, but I've just gone 3 months without an analog cigarette and have no desire to go back, all thanks to my e-cig. It simulates the experience of smoking quite well.

I'm not sure exactly when they were introduced in the states, but I feel like they're only just catching on. Since January, 3 e-cig stores have opened up close to where I live. However, I still get questions all the time ("Is that one of those portable hookahs?"). It's a good conversation starter with the ladies.

Sorry, off topic, so to bring it back to the inh- mine should be arriving either tomorrow or the day after and I'm super stoked! Based on what others have shared, I have a feeling that I'm going to like it better than the pax.

Look up a temp chart showing different 'meds' vaporize at different temps - I thihk it might be in the Arizer Q thread - very informative in showing that you don't need to use high temps to get high, and different temps give different results. I now hit a joint maybe 1-2 times a year and hate it. Welcome to veporizing and good luck in figuring out what works for you

Has anyone heard from The Other Side Vapes recently? No posts in over a month. My concern is not whether the business is legit because I know it is, but rather is it still operating? The reason I ask is because everyone who's purchased talked about how fast shipping was. I ordered Saturday and Monday was a holiday but my order is still listed as pending approval and no tracking info. My credit card has been charged and I've called and left a message and e-mailed and I still haven't heard anything. Just wondering if he's on vacation or god forbid in the hospital or something? I tend to worry so maybe it's just me but I am starting to get a little concerned. Anyone have any info???

i tried calling today about the FC code and no answer or call back. I went ahead and purchased it a few hours ago thinking i would get it tomorrow.. this seems strange..mhmm

I have emailed for another reason and haven't heard but your concern above has happened. I hope you are well Taylor. On another note I heard from him a few weeks ago maybe three. Also if your card is charged then he is around which is good again unless something happened. Keep us informed.

Now I know why I don't have a pax. I loaded my capsule today and the draw was so hard. I cleaned the capsule and the chamber either yesterday or the day before and I think the latter. I also ran a few burns and turned it upside down to remove whatever I missed.

Well the results is I suck at cleaning hence why I am glad I don't have a pax. I decided I must have goofed since I tried to inhale with just the capsule and it seemed really clogged even though it the screen looked clear. I was sooooooooooooooooooooooo wrong it was filthy. I have the capsule soaking now in a medicine bottle and re-cleaned the chamber. I can inhale through the capsule now woohoo but will clean it better still.

So moral is that even though the screen looks clear it may not be. This is confusing to me but that is the case at least for me.

Dunno, I don't know him and don't know how he runs his business. All I know is my experiences with him(which was great) and from what I read here. I think he did great customer service but sometimes there can be delays with a small operation. You can pay more and go to a bigger store.
