How to handle the inevitable dry spells

Thanks to FC, I just had a wonderful night re-vaping duff after grinding it with a mortar and pestle.

I've tried cooking with it, and making oil, but it ruined the flavor of my food. I was going to simply toss it in the garden, but there was mention here of regrinding. I had been disappointed with vaping only in regard to how much herb I was using, but this 'second use' worked beautifully for me.

Started vaping a short month ago, first with Vapir, added a Vaporite, now a Magic Flight. These are the things I've learned: the taste is very different and always better than smoke; fresh bud dries in 2 draws and the experience is the same as well-dried, well-cured herb; Duff doesn't mean depleted!

I can't even remember that last time I've had a dry spell.. In California you'll never be dry if you want weed. You don't have any friends that can help you out though? damn

haha regarding CL -- wow - has anyone used this? i feel like it's super risky for both parties. obviously moreso for whoever may really be selling and not just law, relative to someone trying to buy.

of course it's risky to the point of absurdity however i connected with a CL guy because a friend of mine highly recommended using him; she found him on CL and went with her intuition that it would be OK. i would be very careful pursing this route.

haha yeah that's the best way -- someone else tries first! but SOMEONE has to take the plunge and try someone random! but i don't think i have the stomach for it.

I found some herb on craigslist once before I was scared as shit, met the dude at porn shop parking lot and he said it was white rhino that I bought dunno if it was but it was covered in crystals looked like a christmas tree.

i wonder what i would do if i was in that situation. how about going to a local head shop and striking up a conversation with a customer and asking for a connect.
i don't know... or going to a local show or anywhere would you smell it and asking around.
there's a website, don't have it bookmarked but i can find it again - it lists where to get bud from wherever city/town you're in.
if i find it i'll post it here for you.

I read that and thought the same thing, except maybe sprayed-on sugar or some confectionery spray.

I do know some people will add insecticide or other poisons so that when you smoke it it makes your throat feel tighter giving you the impression the herb is stronger than it should be. Really nasty practice that just reeks of bad karma.

Not sure what that site's like for the US/Canadian cities, but had a quick read of the London and Manchester pages and the advice it gives is a bit laughable! Very out of date on the laws in the UK too, and gives some pretty dodgy tips about how to pick up, and about what you'll be getting and how much you'll be paying..

Obviously the situation can change/depend on different things everywhere, just would say definitely don't follow their advice if you're looking to score in England!

Quite interested in those Craig's list postings though as I'm often in NYC, although again sounds a bit shifty. So goddamn expensive there, but can get some very, very nice strains if you know where to look.

funny, I was this desparate a few years ago and got kicked out of yoda's place (the old local head shop).

Everyone has has a dry spell, and they are quite saddening.

But, if you live anywhere in CA, chances are you aren't actually in a "dry spell" ;)

I'll probably have my first dry spell this spring...(going to rome, for a week, so unless I buy something there or take some edibles I won't have any, abnd I read thaty if you buy it there it's expensive crap, so if that's the case I rather go without)
