Just tried dabbing with the cloud for the first time using some errl. Painted the back of the top screen with a little bit, and went to town at 1:30. I must say it is super tasty and super clean, it definitely gives my Ti a run for its money.

I like your idea of panting it on to the back of the top screen. I will have to give that a try soon. It gives it something to attach to, spreads out the surface area for quicker extraction, and keeps it at the top so if it does drip it will fall to the lower screen.

Vapor Sloth
ok, after an extended convalescence its time for an update on my Nanuk 920 project. We went mobile for the first time a while back and I must say the system is working well. Almost all of the pieces are in place, I will probably redo the pluck foam, but by adding this modified SkilleTools master case, which stores in the bottom with the Cloud's power cord, things are really starting to click. I found that by brushing the ELBs, they stay cleaner, longer, and perform better. Also, using iso wipes is much better than hauling around liquid. You can iso wipe the brush for a deep clean if need be, I am going to add one last brush, a stiff nylon 9mm or .45 acp cleaning brush should be about right, and will store in the loop to the left of the other brush. There is an outside pocket I'm not even using yet so storage is great. I find keeping my top caps & ELBs brushed between bowls helps vapor flow.

This layout needs a redo to accommodate more stuff, like my HT stand which continues to work flawlessly, very bottom heavy ;)

More when the final touches are in place :peace:

Alright the support email system you guys have is horrible. I explained I clean my elbs all the time and clean the male joint constantly and you sent me an email saying that's what I should do. But its def bad that when i leave the elb in the cloud it turned the abv dark brown even on the lowest setting when im not hitting it. What's strange is the inconsistency with my cloud. Sometimes it works perfect but most of the time it toasts the abv way too much and always has a taste of burnt popcorn. And I know its not other factors because I've tried it with the same herb and I've tried every temp because I've had it forever. I'm almost convinved I have a underperforming cloud because I've tried everything and I dont seem to be having the same experience with my cloud as others have had.

A customer service phone number is provided on the VapeXhale website. I suggest giving that a try. It's easier for miscommunication to occur via e-mail. Give them a call and hopefully you can get it sorted out quickly.

As for the Devastator.... please please please put up a video soon

Alright cool. So I take back what I said about your customer service VapeXhale. You guys have always been awesome. I'm sorry I doubted your true greatness. Haha the funny thing, even with the problems I've had with my cloud, its still extremely enjoyable.

Damn! early 2013 for the international model sounded too long for me... so i just ordered an herbo xl to hold me over *blush*

I took the plunge to buy a cloud on Thursday! Unfortunately I got an email on Friday saying the hydracircs are out, but the hydratrees are in. No big deal! The bad news is I haven't yet gotten any other information, or confirmation that my cloud has shipped, or that they have acknowledged my choice of the tree. I'm going nuts at the prospect of it possibly coming today, but I doubt it since I haven't heard anything since my initial email.

I'll be switching over from 2 years with the EQ, and i am really excited!

So, I have been out of the country for a week. I brought one of those coil vapes that you use a lighter with. I was very happy with it, as it did actually make vapor. I left it though. Anyway, as soon as I got home I broke out the Cloud and was just SOO happy to taste pure vapor again! I really missed it while I was gone...

I ordered a second unit during the cannabis cup deal. Was either going to keep it as a backup or give it as a gift. The unit has been sitting in my closet for a couple weeks I figure I best just make sure it works.

Do new units no longer click? I didn't use the it that long, just till it turned green. It heated up I took a few hits. It seemed to function properly... but it was silent! I am accustomed to hearing the click, when I don't hear it clicking I know it's time to reset. I was just curious if this was a change in function or should I be concerned my unit isn't actually functioning properly.

I understand that new units do not click.

The new units do not make any clicking noise. They run silent.

I have to admit, my cloud has not been getting near as much use as it did the first few weeks, mainly due to getting a couple of new portables around the same time, and spending more time getting to know them. I have to say though, every time I go back to the Cloud, it always satisfies. I am finding that the cloud does not satiate the "habitual" routine of puffing on a vape though. It gets to the point pretty darn fast in just a few hits, and so I do find myself wanting to use something throughout the day that I can nurse along that might not push me further than I am needing to go (medication wise) so I have been reaching for portables. I do love how instant the cloud hits are though, once it's good and warmed up.

I also have come to rely on hearing the tick for when it shuts down, but I can see it would be easy to adapt to the silent version. The blinking red/green is also another good alert if you are not listening for the tick.

Thanks Pakalolo and Slightly Medicated. Awesome improvement!

I will learn to adjust :) . I am going to swap them and put my original in the box. There are times I crave total silence but have accepted the clicking.

Anyone have any information on sale of the cloud sleeves? I didn't want to overwhelm them with a request for one, when I will need a few. The one I have has already taken a bit of abuse (around the edges) in just a couple weeks so additional sleeves will be needed in the future.

My cloud stopped ticking 1hr before it died out of nowhere the very first time, so the clicking=working in my head :haw:

Only comment on the sleeves by VXC so far (from last saturday)

I received hundreds of emails about cloud sleeve's, we are working out the logistics of getting everyone a sleeve. As we did not promise a timetable on when that would be turned around, I kindly ask penitence while I work this out. If you want to verify that I received your email -- send me another emailtroi@vapexhale.com, and I will verify that I have your sleeve request. We want to get these all out but since the population of cloud owners without sleeve's consist's of several hundreds we greatly appreciate everyone's patience.

Secondly we have a phone number (484-453-8236), at any time if you need to get in touch with us immediately or your waiting on a question, please utilize it.
So you could either email troi or maybe just give them a call directly

I saw Troi's message, which appeared to be those that wanted to get a "free" one for existing cloud owners. I would qualify as an existing owner but I am looking to purchase a few of them and didn't want to add any influx to the initial requests people were putting in.

It's a great way to dab - also cool to fill the ELB about 1/3 full of flower then paint the cap

Any other changes? I wonder what was changed to make it run silently...

I've found that mixing concentrate with herb/abv works the best IMO. I've tried painting some Pure Gold and some co2 D9 on the underside of the cap and it does work, but I think some of it must be lost somehow using this method because a few drops of PG will only take me so far, whereas a few drops of PG directly onto a bed of abv can take me and a friend to the clouds and back ... and a few drops of PG on a bed of fresh meds, well, that's just a one way ticket to the clouds :D
