This forum is the only "active" vaporizer only site on the net, there is another but it is just dead, infact I think the only person that posts is the admin which seems to talking to himself, sad really.

I post at several other sites and anytime anyone wants vaporizer info I direct them here. Saves me from answering the same questions over and over. I like this site very informative.

I hope you do that via a PM as its bad form to post openly about one forum in another.

Of course I wouldn't openly post it at least not without asking permission first. And I only pm them if they ask for more info. I don't volunteer it.

Cool, we have some people who do post FC.com on other forums and its just bad form and typically frowned upon.

I will pm someone who is asking in depth questions and the answers are already here, I will typically pm them and let know about FC.com and typically link to the applicable thread.

Happy Vaping!

This site is awesome. I am glad that I found it and vaporizing for that matter. Helped me quit smoking in general and tobacco in particular. Good people here too :D.

It is indeed.

Appreciate the sentiment, but you're directing traffic away from the forum you're on, and to another, possibly a direct competitor. If the forum has any kind of section set aside where vapes are discussed, you should assume the management wants discussion to take place. Telling people to just 'go to FC for vape info', is a disservice to the forum you're posting on. I'm a mod on another forum with a good vape section, and I can assure you that those types of posts aren't welcome there. In a way, it's worse than spam. Do use PM (if they have it) or email contact if you really want someone to get the benefits of FC membership. Now if the forum has no vape specific section, and about one vape post a week, suggesting a more informative, specialized forum would be more acceptable IMO. But if a forum lists 'vaporizers' as even a part of a section heading, you have to assume management would like to promote discussion there, and not have people routing others to a different site.

I've never openly posted at other sites. And as I stated if I openly posted it I would clear it with the site owners. Won't do it anymore.

I've openly posted up FC reference threads in other sites when one is looking for more information than could be found on that site and I have, very rarely, had my hands spanked by forum management. My primary concern is getting valuable information into the hands of those asking the questions as well as others who may be reading those threads, and in that case, PM's wouldn't suffice.

So yeah, I'll admit that I think that I am the one of the ones that Beez is talking about in the above post, but unless I can be convinced that openly offering up the most comprehensive information that can be found to help people make viable vaporizer purchasing decisions is the wrong thing to do, I'll continue to do what I do.

I'm afraid I, too, have in the past mentioned that FC was a place for good info.

I can understand the hesitation: it makes sense that it would be in poor form. Frankly I'm a bit clueless as to forum etiquette. And I've never PIMmed, or tried a live board, either.
