which is best for Hash (full melt, bubble, keif, pressed hash, etc)

greetings all,

been lurking and reading for a while and was hoping to get some suggestions on which vape(s) work best for hash. i have access to full melts, partial melts, hard pressed hash, kief, pressed kief, etc but i have yet to find a portable vaporizer for hash. when at home i use a ceramic heating element and a hash bowl on my bong but i need something more portable.

i'm getting ready to pick up a Pax for herb but would like something for strictly hash.

The Thermovape Revolution is made to vape all of those things, though it will work with some better than others. It's worth reading up on, just don't let all the lingo get to you.

Why not just combust them? What health concerns do you have about the hash you have access to - is any of it adulterated?

Clean hash is mostly volatile oils and plant waxes - so you either want to convection vape kif and unpressed powdery hash (cutting up with a razor like I imagine cocaine is prepared), or if it's been pressed or is homogenous or oil-like then combust it.

Out of your options I'd go with kif in the Revolution, or better still is full-melt in a Revolution/DART - iff your full-melt is approaching BHO/ISO in purity and quality. All tools will need regular cleaning too, so get 2 cores/cartridges so you can use while one soaks. Or just go a Ti pad and jet lighter with a portable dabbler and inhaling tube, or seriously just pressed hash in a pipe!

no real reason aside from been combusting it for years and looking for new ways to smoke it. i like to get creative and try new things... in a bong or pipe it is starting to irritate my throat if i smoke it a lot.
i smoke herb all day and save the hash for evening time.

It's hardly elegant, but I've had great results with the Vapbong. It my go to vape when I have hash to vape- nothing else even comes close in the flavour department IMO. I'm not usually really a fan of lighter based vaporizers, but for portable hash consumption this certainly gets my vote.

Here's a quick vid I've posted before in the thread showing some of the tasty vapor it can produce.
However, they've changed the design recently and I'm not sure if the newer "Vaponic" will work quite as well I'm sure the old style is still lingering on shop shelves though.

I usually do the same as you for hash, ceramic element and a bowlhead in a bong.
I too wanted a portable method, so I recently got a TV revolution attachment. I already had everything else they make so it was an obvious solution. I was amazed by the first hit. It was perfect, tastes great and got a huge cloud. It really tasted better than any other way to vape or smoke hash. The only problem is that it will clog up if you use planty hashes. I wouldn't bother putting bubble hash in it, it wouldn't be worth the time spent cleaning it.

I saw your thread ----I recently ordered the revolution cartridge to use with my 3.7 battery ---it didn't produce vapor at all. Ive Emailed Thermovape and posted here in forums still no response. This after a shipping customer service issue too. Its frustrating when a company takes your $50.00 and wont respond.
The Vapor Cone Elite is made by medstick it looks like the atmos raw it has a cone where you can add oils hashes budders and herb but imho its not vaporizing its burning it using a coil
