What should I do with some stems?

I'm saving up a bunch of stems and I was wonder what I should do with them. If you tell me to cook something or prepare some sort of hash, please provide the link as I do not have infinite knowledge in this noggin of mine.

Im not sure if this works but years ago... I mean YEARS AGO...I used to throw all my stems into a bottle of over proof rum... Forgot about it for a good year or so. One night hanging with a few friends, we decide to test it out. I strained it and measured out a few small shots. Nobody really knew if it worked as we smoked and Smoked and smoked some more but when I went to drive a friend home late that night I drove down a one way street the wrong way and had no clue I was doing anything out of the ordinary until my buddy said 'what the fuck are you doing??'

It was also a route I drove thousands of times.

After that, I suspected something about it worked.

Finally decided to go get a nice self-seal jar from upstairs and see what I could fit into it. Ended up moving all of my ABV into it and still have about 1/4 of the jar empty. I decided to throw all the stems I had in there as well, I figure I wouldn't do anything special with them anyways, so whatever my ABV gets used for, the stems will as well. I'm considering making some cannabutter at some point, possibly for a small batch of cookies to have for sleep. I suspect that given the nature of my vaporizer, my ABV will still have a nice amount of CBD and the other sedating/analgesic/antiemetic cannabinoids that I really need. Not to say that my vape is inefficient (it handles indicas quite well), I just personally don't like the taste of the vapors that I would need to get to extract more of those specific cannabinoids, and so I decide to load a new trench when I don't like the taste of the vapors. I don't think it's wasteful as I have saved the vast majority of my ABV, 99% of it is stored while that 1% is the times that I'm out and about and don't have a container to keep it in. I also plan on using my ABV so none of my herb goes to waste.

Edit: hurr, forgot to say that I will be making QWISO "oil" out of a small amount of ABV today, hopefully to be ready by tomorrow.

I always go QWISO hash route. Soak the stems in isopropyl alcohol, clean them, pour the used alcohol onto a pie plate to evaporate. Once dried, scrape resin with a razor blade.

just learned how to make that earlier today, unfortunately it was off of grass city lol

I've been good with shaking it every so often and got it a bit warm with the 91% ISO. How long do you usually soak it for? Might try extracting a small amount with a sterile syringe to sample tomorrow, but I'm a bit lost as to how long I want to be soaking it. Is it any different than using regularly decarb'd bud?

Questzalcoatl - do you mean stems or ABV? I've never used ABV for QWISO, though I'm thinking I may this time. From what I do know, less time is better with ABV QWISO.

I'll try it myself next time.

Er, sorry, I meant to say I was using ABV. I made the comment of decarb'd bud thinking you'd understand but on second look I never even mentioned what I was using

I imagine a few hours would be more than enough time to extract the remaining cannabinoids.

I thought it was "quick wash"? Maybe I'm mistaken?

I'd probably make weed butter out of it. I also have a huge jar of stems saved up put it on my pocorn!
