Discontinued VapeXhale Cloud

Well it was weird because power was uneven. So the clouds at the front table were running hotter then the clouds at the back table. There was also a unit there that worked but was running cooler. That unit was turned to MAX but was working more like a unit that was around Noon. The 2nd day we turned that unit off and quit using it.

The other units were around 2-3 o'clock on the dial. I think originally we had them set to 12 o'clock but they ended up getting turned up. There was several reasons for that. First of which was at 12 o'clock there was allot of active ingredients still left in the ELB. Turning it up allowed for more extraction quicker allowing people to take 2-3 hits and get the full ELB experience. Also since allot of people were smokers and dabbers. I thought it helped that crowd really get a experience they could appreciate.

It was great to see a few "heavy hitter" cough their butts off. A few vapor purists came along and wanted to actually experience the low temp capability. They already understand vaporizing and can appreciate that aspect of it. For those people I turned the device down to like 10 o'clock and dry hit it a few times to rapidly cool it off. The volcano owners were all so impressed with the "smooth taste". That was the #1 first words out of peoples mouth after they hit it was "smooth". The #2 was "Whoa". I seriously wish I had time to record more video reactions of people using the device. I got one or two... but there were some great ones I did not capture.

During these trade shows you can always expect something to go wrong. Thankfully though it was relatively minor stuff. There was also only two breakages. I broke a HydraFeet stand and someone else knocked over a unit and it had a HydraTube on top. The tube did not survive but the unit was fine! I was sitting next to it when it happened and I just reached over and wiped off the water before it had time to cause any damage.

The piece needs less water like the vertigo so it probably could lay down and not spill, but has wide base so it can stand too. It's tree (total circ complement) with closed arm ends and has bent neck. Seems like total complement to the HydraCirc. If I wanted two tubes I would go HydraCirc and this one.

If that bottom really prevents water getting in the Cloud then this one prevents water getting down into Cloud while the hydracirc prevents it getting up to lips.

There are some minor bugs. It has the glass picture in packages section and it's called HydraCirc - it's a tree.

The Swagger pieces have that 1st chamber on the bottom that does allow for any excess water to pool down there and not drip down in the cloud. It is more user friendly for people who want to let their friends the cloud, but worry about them coughing water into the unit. I would be careful about laying it down on it's side. It you fill it too full, some water will spill out of the top. One thing I noticed. Once water has started to pool into the first chamber, it is easier to refill it than it is to try and move the water back up into the top chamber. :2c:

Nice :) is that the price just for the glass or is that a cloud kit at $499? Looks fantastic!! I need a BUNCH of money!

Wow with the release of the Swagger package makes me wish I had waited just a little bit longer before purchasing my 2nd unit. I'll just have to wait awhile for finances to catch up, and for that tube to go on sale by itself.

Don't worry about it too much. From what I can tell, we are all going to go broke long before we run out of different HydraTube styles to buy. I believe it is VapeXhales intention to offer quite the diverse line of HydraTubes.

So there is:

VAS (Vaporizer Acquisition Syndrome)
GAS (Glass Acquisition Syndrome)

and now

HAS or HTAS (HydraTube Acquisition Syndrome)

A good old friend of mine just ordered. I guess I'll be trying a Cloud soon, even if I have to drive three hours to get to it

.

Once your friend kicks you out for staying there too long... your hotel costs are going to add up quick. (I.E. paying to stay so close to your friends cloud so you can keep using it after they kick you out.) Might just be cheaper to order yourself one now.

I tend to stay out of arguments about people who prefer a specific method of medicating, but honestly dabbing I do have major concerns against the concept and the fact that its becoming widely popular, as a PRIMARY method (if it was an alternative method that people toyed with in 10% of there medication activities, but it seems that for many dabbing is only and all they do...

If the cannibus community wants the rest of the majority voting to change the laws, dabbing is not their friend. If anything its fuel for anti legalization arguments, as its 1) Unhealthy 2) looks closley more like doing a vey hard drug 3) sole purpose is to get "Really high"

I feel we have come a long way, and for something like this to become the new face of the industry will return us to looking like a bunch of jokes.

Additionally, all those torches are really a liability. I think back to my college days, if there was a super hot torch being lit off I could picture many scenarios where injuries or accidental fires could have occurred easily.

i have never dabbed, i used to smoke found out about vaporizer's 5 year's ago never looked back. smoking messes with you're lungs, makes you tired, and lazy. vaporizing gets u fd up, but still functional way it should be. nothing like lifting weights, sparring, jujistu rolling while medicated. Take it from me someone who has bad ADHD an slight learning disability, helps me focus an calm down. Vaporizing is king enough said. Cant wait to get my cloud. all hail the king vaporizer......

I think you and I are in the same boat. I don't know how I feel about it as a primary form of usage. I feel like at a certain point you just build up a tolerance to the oil so you end up basically just getting as high as you would with flowers, but with all the negative side effects. Then another negative is things like flowers don't do much for you once you get used to concentrates. Pretty soon it seems like you are in the habit of chasing the high... trying to get as high as possible. Please keep in mind I am not referring to everyone. I know some oil dabber who do it for convenience and don't seem to be chasing the high. I am speaking about those recreational users that want to always take things to the max.

I finally found some video of one of the most annoying aspect of the cup. These guy were amazingly loud during the event. I could hardly hear people ask me questions from across the table. They were the only one doing the "announcements" over their audio system.

There are a bunch of other videos of the event where you can see other vendors talking to the camera and you can hear them being loud in the background.

If you jump to 35 seconds you can hear them in that video as well. The booth in this video was on the other side of the booth with the loud speaker.

They were the majority of the reason my voice got scratchy. It seemed very unprofessional to me. I wonder who at high times I should show these videos too...

My experience with highly concentrated oil is from long ago, but I'll never forget it. What I had (used in what became a crack pipe, when crack arrived on the scene later on) produced a hit that expanded in your lungs to the point where hardly anyone could hold the hit (coughed it out right away), yet that one hit would put you on your ass. Granted, this was a long time ago, when mj potency wasn't what it is now, but the experience still applies. These concentrates (along with the people who, as mentioned, carry these rigs around with them and mostly refuse to smoke/vape anything else), kind of remind me of when crack came along, and the fact that I wanted nothing to do with it, due to the highly addictive nature of it. I agree with Troi that this stuff, in addition to having the potential of being unsafe due to poor/improper manufacturing, takes mj use closer into the realm of hard drugs (at least appearance wise), and provides ammo for legalization opponents to apply the label of 'abuse', rather than 'use'. It can definitely play havoc with your tolerance level, if nothing else. As with most things, I vote for moderation with mj, and this stuff isn't moderate. It's intense, extreme, and seductive- handle with care.

They raised the prices by $50 so it's really just a $50 discount from yesterday's price.
Just to set the record straight, the only $50 price increase was on the Showerdome. The other prices are the same as they were before the Seattle event.

I know where you're coming from, but I think you had to be there to experience the actual aggravation. Once the audio is recorded and compressed, the real loudness level is lost.

OK, HUGE question. My friend brought over his cloud to do a comparison side by side with my herbalaire to GONG with no crucible. Interesting results, the herbalire was giving bigger hits but the cloud is unquestionably more pure taste - which if you are smoking all day for 30 years might just add up to better health.

HOWEVER - I wanted to push the cloud and get a bigger hit. So, my friend loaded a big big bowl. I wasnt watching him or I would have pulled him back a little.. So we put it on my FAT US tube, and I did a slow puffing rhythm... It ignited. But it did more than that... It fucking KILNED. like this smoke smelled BAD. Like burned fucked up plastic bad. When we went to clean out the bowl it looked like black cheese fudge inside it.

Now his cloud is literally unusable. Shit, I had to wach out my bong wit ISO thoroughly just to get that flavor out. He has tried cleaning the glass path in the Could with iso 2x now but every hit instantly tastes like burned nastiness and makes your throat tickle badly.

So. What happened? What should he do? Was he negligent? Should he try corking and really soaking that thing or has something been melted from the high temperature it somehow achieved? Now hes using his solo with the hydrotube...

REALLY appreciate the help getting him back on track with his cloud. I was really excited to use it everytime I went to his house.... Bring it back!!!

His Cloud is probably faulty or damaged. Is the glass tube in the Cloud broken? If not then there must be some warrantiable fault in the heater or control. I wouldn't hit the Cloud like that puffing rhythm, it can have greater risk of water getting down. Maybe this is what happened.

I find it interesting that people claim BHO as unsafe yet no one has done an actual verifiable scientific study proving there was any solvent residue left over after a proper purge, and if there was in which way was it harmful to the body. Does anyone have any actual facts to back up these claims or is it all heresay? I consider dabs like taking shots of hard alcohol, and vaping flowers like sipping on a beer. they are both alcoholic beverages, and they will both get me drunk eventually. One thing I love about dabs in that I don't have to be continuously breathing in heated air like I do when I'm vaping flowers.

The puffing is prob what did it. The water repeated dropping hard over and over prob forced water into the elb, soaking the herb and making it all nasty. That'd be my guess.

Now that circ is what I like. But even if it has the splashback protection the perc imo could be a little bit taller. Still love the precision, durability, splashguard and shape of Evolvers. But as the glassware is evolving I assume I will get something completely different (and even better :) ) when they open up to the world.

That showercap perc look so tiny. It's like the male joint.

And imagine the Swagger Double perc sitting on the Devastator... :ko:

Oh wow they are already listing all the packages I saw this weekend. I hit them all this weekend at one point or another. They are all pretty great.

The reverse showercap style has the least water and the most flavor. Best for the person who likes low temp vaporizing and wants to experience full flavor with minimal water filtration.

The double has the most filtration and is the smoothest hit. Best for the person who likes to down large hits at higher temps, or someone with lung problems who wants extra filtration.

The other two (circ and the tree) hit similar to the HydraCirc/HydraTree versions. It gives you the option of having a bent neck, and also that 1st chamber to help act as a barrier between the water chamber and the device itself. Which is more group/new user friendly.

Personally, I like the double tree/circ the most. I want one of those and the devastator combined. That could give my Mobius 65t a run for it's money. :mmmm:

Hahaha come on guys, i've been puffing for 25 years! There was no water being blown down the tube... Constant suck with increases in strength rhythmically, not like moron style hahahahaha.

The chamber was filled with SMOKE - water doesnt usually help with that process..

Anyway, if the steel bowl was superheated could it somehow release something? Doubtful... Glass doesnt appear to be broken.

Just read the four most beautiful words in the English language; ITEM OUT FOR DELIVERY!!!

I'm so excited to get my Cloud! Work can be over soon enough!

Couple last minute questions.

When I switch the unit on should I fill the ELB and put it in the unit right away and let it warm up with the ELB in it, or wait until its warmed up and then put the ELB in?

I fill the HydraTube up to just above the slits right (it's the Evolver Hydratree)? How often should one change the water? How often should one clean the HydraTube, assuming daily use? Can I just use ISO or do I have to use something like what was recommended in the demo video?

Lastly, I've seen a lot of posts talking about certain HT's being "user/newbie friendly" or not and was wondering what I should pay attention to or be careful of, particularly with the HydraTree. I'd hate for me, or worse, my wife to ruin my new investment right out the gate with some rookie mistake...

macmurray,
On another side note. I found it interesting lots of people would ask me. So is it ready? Do I need to hit a button or something to make it work? They were all expecting the device to be more complicated then it really is. Which speaks to most peoples opinions on vaporizers in general... with people feeling like they are to complicated and technique driven to be "useful". People like simplicity.

That happens all the time for me too lol. A lot of the time when my friends first hit it, they are expecting that theyll have to hit a button or that there's more to it than just turning it on and hitting it.
