Wow, I read this thread every day and I missed the Twitter giveaway. Sorry... :(

You may recall that the mention of the Twitter giveaway caused a bit of a storm here with some people feeling that the FC folks might be being shortchanged if they weren't on Facebook or Twits.

That kind of obscurred the mention of the giveaway I think.

Never really understood why people got all upset when we tried to do something nice and all people simply had to do is "like us" on Facebook or "follow" us on Twitter. I can understand if you are a professional and don't want to "like us" on Facebook in fear that am employer might find you but Twitter is completely anonymous and BOTH ARE FREE. Plus, don't you guys want to see the latest and greatest from VapeXhale? :ninja:

We got so much backlash from people stating that we were "favoring" people that were more social media friendly that we almost decided to just cancel any of the promotions we were going to run on those channels but calmer minds prevailed and we're going to do another promotion despite knowing we're going to get our fair share of folks moaning and groaning about it but as they say, you can't please everyone.

So here is the deal, the amount of followers on our Twitter and Facebook is quite dismal and the powers that be are not happy with the job that I'm doing. This is what I was thinking, I'm gonna give away a personal, worked HydraLine from my collection. Here are the rules:
  • If you follow or like us on either Facebook or Twitter, your name gets entered once into the raffle for the worked HydraLine
  • If you get people to like us or follow us and they mention your name when they follow, another ticket will be put into the raffle with your name on it. The more people you get to follow or like us, the more times your name gets entered into the drawing.
MMAFighter25 did a great job getting more people to follow us and he reaped the rewards of his work. I'll be posting a picture of the worked HydraLine on Facebook and Twitter later on today. If you are the type that doesn't like Facebook or Twitter, we have some other contests and promotions coming shortly but none are going to include pieces from MY personal collection.

BTW - We have to reach 2,000 "likes" and 2,000 "followers" and the raffle drawing will begin.. Let the fun begin

Yea, I wouldn't worry about people unwilling to do the social thing. This is what I do for a living, and it's what all companies do, or should be doing. I love it, but I did forget you were doing it. My only accounts are work related but I already follow you guys in FB, gonna do the Twitter thang tomorrow!

Certainly seems like people shouldn't begrudge you trying to expand the business any way you can.

That can only benefit us all in the end with new and better products and services.

You've certainly done right by folks here...when you offered extra ELBs in High Times you included us here.

In fact, when I ordered my Inline HT and mistakenly tried to use that coupon code (I wasn't ordering a Package) you sent them anyway!

Keep up the excellent effort and don't sweat the Buttbrains.

Really? That's f*cking stupid. That's like getting mad at the lottery commission for not winning despite not buying a ticket. Some people....

My twitter account uses a different name as does this account because I don't want people to know about my herbal relaxation habit. Is it still ok to enter this way?

I'm not on FB or twitter (well, I've got a twitter account, so I'm gonna log in to it for the first time in about a year to follow vxc ),
But I might be able to convince a couple of friends to like on Facebook.

So if a friend likes you on FB, and mentions me, we each get an entry into the draw?
As in, if;
I follow on twitter,
My friend likes on FB (and mentions me)

I have 2 entries and my friend has 1?

(I never really got the uproar at the contest to begin with... A cool company giving away free stuff... I'm always down for that:shrug:)

Hey FC,

Hope everyone is gearing up for a great weekend, VaporRing and I are at the airport about to head to Seattle for the High Times Medical Cup, I hope anyone that can make it out can come visit our booth nestled within the "medicating" area, and you'll get a chance to meet SM55, Ring and Myself, along with SlightlyMedicated (vaporizor blog) and Nebu (Vapor Cafe)!

I just wanted to let everyone know that our customer service will be handled but over this weekend potentially not with the same response time that you would normally expect from us. We do garuntee though any inquries submitted will be responded to by mid day monday.

Be sure to check us out if your coming to the event, and if you know friends going tell them to vote for us for best product!

I'm losing it up here in Canada. Haven't seen my Cloud yet. Stuck in customs apparently... Was hoping to see it this week, but it looks like another weekend of smoking joints. I know there were others from Canada that ordered Clouds, were there any customs hold ups? If you watched the tracking (how could you not?!) how quickly did it go from "arrived in Canada waiting to be reviewed by customs" to cleared by customs and picked up by Canada Post? I'm going on almost 36 hours. I've read some horror stories about things stuck in customs for weeks or months... Sigh... Fingers crossed for next week. I wonder if Express Post was even worth the extra money at this point, or if Priority would be even slower? I can't believe it's not easier to ship stuff between the US and Canada, we might as well be a state!

Yeah; it's bullshit. In fact, along with our governments dishonourable actions left right and centre the mud we get dragged through shipping ANYTHING, have me racking my brains for any good reason to stay living here in Canada. What's the point of being Americas hat when customs gets backed up to hell and the only way to get through it is to pay 150 bucks to UPS for brokering? Might as well go to live in a country that gives half a shit about their populace and has real laws against this gouging... I'm moving to Norway...

I hate to sound like a broken record but I've been trying to get a proper answer for a while now without success. If I buy a used cloud; what is my warranty situation? I've heard both from people that it is non-transferable, but I have also heard that you can get it transferred in certain situations. Does anyone know what the policies are black and white? They don't have a policy page on their site.

I've already "liked" you guys on FB and retweeted like 7-8 tweets on twitter, is there a way I can get entered or do I have to "unlike" you and relike you guys? I too run contests on twitter for my father's store but we always keep the same people in the raffle that have followed us or liked us, so just curious because I would LOVE a hydraline almost as much as I would love a lap dance from jessica alba. I will definitely get you guys some likes/followers if you can help me out, ya know I scratch your back, you scratch mine, cept my back is located on my cock, but no in all seriousness putting the Superbad quotes aside, whats up with people that already played a decent role in the first contest?

They do, however, provide several ways to contact them, including PMs here. ;)

He's talking about USPS, there is no brokerage fee raping. In my experience, there is no unusual Customs delay either. The tracking for my last cross-border shipment showed it clearing Customs in 7 minutes. That was USPS-Canada Post, and there were no fees.

I know; and I choose USPS as often as possible. However they use the normal ports of entry to get your package in, and when the customs at the port get backed up a queue is started which can get quite long. USPS packages get stuck in that, but you can use UPS who will broker it for you nearly instantly to get it in. Which is the only option when customs is backed up (which in my experience is often) and you want to get it ASAP. That's what I had mean in my post; I guess I wrote it kind of strangely.

And my PM's were sent before I wrote this. However they are at High Times and are probably not spending their time there answering requests. I was just hoping to get an answer as soon as possible.

Bad luck for me I guess. That's awesome that VXL sends as a gift though. I was fully expecting to pay taxes and some other handling. Actually at this point I would gladly pay a little more just to have the damn thing in my hands. I sure hope its just a backup at customs and it's not being put aside for further inspection (I wonder if I would get a scan showing that if it were the case). Not that I'm afraid it's not a legit item to import, just that I've heard some horror stories about stuff staying there for up to a month and then clearing like nothing happened.

Oh well, have a puff and relax I guess, not much else I can do...

macmurray,
So how do you know if I told someone to like you on facebook? Don't they just go to your page and click the like? How would they put my name in there to let you know I was the one that directed them there?
