Stu: Why do you have to be over 40 to enjoy Jethro Tull?

I love the live recording of Aqualung they did at the XM studio in 2004. Very fun album to listen to.

Here's on of my favorite songs by Jethro Tull. My mom was devestated when her old LP of Living in the Past finally kicked the bucket. I wasn't able to find a cd that had all the songs from the LP, but after a lot of searching I finally found an imported cd that actually had a few live recording on it unlike the LP, and a couple of the songs were from an actual show my Mom had attended. I was happy that I was able to find that for her.

i dont often like songs largely because of lyrical content, but yeah...

Stoned once again
How long has it been?
Oh, there can be no other
My ever constant fix
For in the stream which drowns my sin
Oh, there can be no other

Oh, could I be wrong, could I be wrong, oh no
Oh, it's where I fear I belong
Oh, I've lost myself along the way
Oh, yeah, ain't got nothing left to say
I've burnt my bridge to the past
And I buried my broken bones
How I long for what I once had known

...

I was listening to bands like Radiohead, Beck and Interpol earlier. Yesterday I was listening to DNB, Downtempo and UK Garage. My mood changes all the time, so it's hard for me to pick favorites most of the time.

This place is very eclectic. Some fantastic music in here people, so I'm gonna trash it up with my guilty pleasure, miss Taylor Swift:

It's one of my favs from her. I always thought Taylor had more talent in her left buttcheek than 90% of the top 40 charts, she just has shown almost zero personality. This song/video kind of puts her out there a bit more. She's got a more sarcastic, cynical tone. Almost darkly humorous. It's just nothing like what I'm used to seeing from her.

XTC never got the credit they deserved for writing and performing a timeless classic... and I do believe in God. This song however makes a lot of good points and questions. Sure, a lot is cliche... still I thought along with the video it puts them forth, in something you might find yourself humming, or singing. Then you realize what you just asked/said. It made you think.

They were a great group.

Definitely a great song for being vaked.

Touche!

He put it here, why wouldn't he partake?

I KNOW! I'VE SMOKED IT!

God's Bud!

EDIT: Posted this elsewhere answering a question. Originally heard this song on I believe a PS1 title, maybe a PS2. It appeared on a few of their games. But the song and the band, KICK ASS. Used to get some MAD scores on tricks, when this song came thru the rotation.

SCREW THIS! TWO-FOR!!!
