simple... hands down it is the VapeXHale Cloud. http://www.vapexhale.com/ I can't stress this enough... the cloud delivers the most concentrated hit you can get in a vaporizer. You can produce extremely thick clouds. It has an 18mm male joint that you plug into your glass. They also come with their own proprietary water pipes that you place on top of the unit.

Take a gander at the viVape. I own the Cloud and viVape. While they aren't in the same class, the viVape delivers equally tasty hits, in my experience. But SliM is right about how fucking awesome the Cloud is.

Also, check out the LSV--that's in your $$ range and a nice one as well.

Oh--and check out a log vape like the HI or CRZ. Definitely in your $$ range (waiting list for HI).

They get new stock in regularly. I would save up.

I have an SSV that I like quite a lot, kind of similar to the DBV. It is in the top 3-4 vaporizers to use with water pipes. It ranks up there with the cloud.

I would also suggest the Underdog Vaporizer, although I would also suggest a variable power supply so you would have to factor in that cost. The viVape is good as well, although some people don't like how it blows air constantly.

Moving from the DBV to any other vape besides the cloud just seams like a lateral movement unless there is more involved than just the size/concentration of the hit. Of course adding any new vaporizer to your arsenal is always good fun.

Have you tried shortening your whip length? I had great success with my SSV + bubbler using only a three inch whip.

May I ask what kind of glass you are using?

its a 15" straight tube with no percs just a straight downstem. i want to buy a smaller piece too as i feel i would get less air in my hits. any specific glass piece i should get?

That probably depends on your budget but given your previous info, I assume your not talking mobious or something similarly priced. If you hop on quick you might be able to get the leviathan Fc bubbler, it looks really high end for the price ($158) IMO. Planet vape also has one in the works, Levi has a slightly cheaper shower head bub coming out, black leaf Saxo bub, also check out the cheap bubbler thread and others in the glass section.

Are you using your DBV with a long whip attached to your bong? Even when using a hard hitting desktop vape like da buddha, I find vapor-bonging with a long whip to be very unsatisfying.

If you are using a long whip, i'd recommend trying it out with as short as you can make it while still usable, should get much less airy hits. (FYI if you really dislike airy hits, Da Buddha is actually more "airy" than its more expensive brother, the Silver Surfer)

I wouldn't limit my choice of vaporizers with this criteria if I were you.

Most if not all vapes will work with water, just pick the one that matches your other needs the most & lets us help you find a way to hook it up to your bong as soon as you've found it.

Think more about how much product you want to use with it, ergonomics, durability, ease of cleaning, stuff like that.

Good luck researching

I have an extreme on order with a VB attachment. With the 3 speed blower I think that will overcome the whip length issue. And with the remote it allows hands off operation as well.

My first choice would be the VAPEXHALE as well though.

Congrats on your purchase. It's a fine vaporizer.

What do you mean by VB attachment? As far as the 3 fan speeds, they really have nothing to do with the lengh of the whip, so I'm not sure what you meant. Could you elaborate?

It's a GonG joint that attaches to the whip and connects to the downstem on a bong.

People commented that they were having drawing issues with the setups and felt it was the length of the whip that led to difficult draws. With the blowers it's positive pressure instead of negative to activate the airflow. That should help overcome drag since its "forcing" the vapor to you instead of you having to "draw".

Does that make sense?

rsqemt911,
I've got an EQ with a three foot whip and I don't have any issue with draws. It's a decent unit to run through a water pipe, I usually get nice big clouds - certainly bigger than I produce with direct draw. I only use the fan for bags, I've found no need for it with direct inhale or through a water pipe.

I picked up a travel beaker with a showerhead downstem from Soulshine Family Glass and it works really well for vaporization. You can see my setup here. Read the whole thread, lots of positive reviews of SSFG.

350$ is a lot of cash! If you really want to be a full time vapebonger then with that budget I would try as many vapes as I could instead of just one like the vxc. Here's what I would try;
Supreme vape - $80
Vapocane B, or gnome vape - approx. $50
Eclipse vape - $50
Solo - $160-200
Herbalaire, $200

So for $350 you can get quite an assortment of capes that all excel at vapebonging. You'll have a little bit of everything, portables, desktop, butane powered, battery powered, bags, direct draw, variable temps, and the ability to vape concentrates.

Once you have settled on the 'best' type of vape for you, you can sell of the others and you'll save yourself some money. Then you'll know you got the best bang for your buck!

The EQ comes with 2 GonG elbow pieces that work fine as adapters, so there is no real need to buy other adapters. I never use the fan for vaporbonging. I don't really see the point tbh (it wont force air through a bong....just builds up pressure).

If you've found you're still not satisfied with the eq, try inverse hitting (page 60 something on the EQ thread I think). I also use the mini balloon whip for this function with an elbow on each side of it, eliminates alot of hassle and easier to milk IMO.

Considering your previous experience with the DBV I think the Supreme would be something you'd like, assuming you have no issues with using a torch.
