does your bong have a 14.4m joint or 18mm joint?

if its 14.4mm then you'd be able to do so easily...if not you'll need an adapter

I tried my buddies solo and I didnt really like the air tight feel of the suction. I could not tell if I was even inhaling until I exhaled.

The, ever so sought after, PVHES stems make that air path problem disappear. It's just a matter of waiting for the next round to be made/released...

Yeah they are chronically out of stock at PV. They are very popular, alot of people love them. I myself prefer the stock stems though.

I don't have a problem with the stock stems either, just takes a few weeks for them to break in/loosen up.

My bent stem is extremely loose, and the draw is not restricted at all. My straight stem is a little tighter, so you have to draw a little harder, but no where close to the "milkshake" effect when you first get it.

Took about 2 weeks before they loosened up. I'm more interested in the stealth stem than the PVHES stems, just because teh stock stems just seem too long

I would be too, but I'm put off by the fact that the only review in the Amazon marketplace is pretty obviously written by the company, and says things like "maybe you should just try it before making wild claims about someones intent" while being the only review on the page. It looks to me like they are expecting poor reviews and are attempting to get a good one "inb4"

Even though it's a review from a verified Amazon.com purchase? Unless, of course, the inventor decided to buy one from a separate account not tied to his own. I can definitely see something like this happening but all in all it just seems like a whole lotta work for a $10 stem.

Regarding the stealthiness of vapes, does anyone find that, in addition to being more convenient, a Solo with rechargeable batteries would also be stealthier because it could be tucked out of sight while the batteries are charging elsewhere, rather than having to be plugged conspicuously in a wall outlet?

Yeah, it's nothing for a person to make another account and buy one of their own units, especially because they can just put it back in inventory. Especially when they make a point of rubbing it in your face that they are a verified buyer.

I hope I'm wrong, but this whole situation just smells a little funky to me.

Hey there,
I've only had my solo for a bit and I'm reading through this thread, but it's HUGE.
Can someone enlighten me about the battery level indicator?
When I turn mine on, it always flashes number 7, which I thought to mean fully charged.
But mine only flashes on 7 - even on the cycle it dies on.
What am I missing?

do you have a way to make a vid of it powering up? It would make trouble shooting easier... but I understand if you are not able to.

I also have trouble with the dry/hot vapor for any length of time. I almost always carry some kind of water piece whether it's the AquaVape for being small and compact, a bubbler/J hook, or a full sized piece, depending on where I am using the solo at. Keep in mind we are going to be seeing some terrific new glass pieces soon from PlanetVape, some kind of mini-hydratube, and new bubblers are in the works, and I hear talk of a possible micro bub/stem combo if it's possible for them to create it, and have it function. If you dream it, it will become reality.

I always prefer water conditioned vapor, I have asthma and it just makes it easier. especially on logs where variable temps aren't an option.

every solo is the same(with slight variations). If yours is not ask the manu, ie arizer Sounds like you have a warranty claim on your hands

Right after flashing 7, my Solo flashes the battery level.

I concur - both my m102 and m107 flash 7 then immediately it indicates my battery level.

OK - I got it ... thanks guys. I'll go back to page 60 and see you guys in a few months when get through this monster thread.

These threads, especially the big ones, really need some 'stickies' at the top to cover the basics.

I'm still figuring my Solo out. It's great, but I'm looking forward to getting some of the higher flow stems from PlanetVape when they are available. The screens i got from PV were also a little too coarse for my liking. I cut down a finer screen from my ExtremeQ and it did a better job of keeping the stem clean.

Now that I've got the battery indicator figured out, I shouldn't get left hanging when I need to medicate when I'm away from home.

ps: What are you dudes using to carry your stems around when out and about?

Thanks

Well, I have decided to add the Solo to my arsenal as well. I don't really need another vape, but I'd like to see what kind of stands I could make for this popular vaporizer. I guess I'll grab a M107 in silver, it's the cheapest. I like the black better, but not for $20 or so more on Amazon.

If anyone has any suggestions and/or tips for owning a Solo, please let me know.

I will also be making stands for this vape and it's accessories (fbomb stand, perhaps?). If anyone has any suggestions that they would like to see for a Solo Station, please let me know as well. I will be reading through this thread, too and I can't wait to join the Solo club! Thanks, guys!!

Oh dear god TStat you have answered my dreams. I was thinking how great a stand/cradle for the solo that I could keep by my desk for running it over a whip. Something like this:

Yes , just wanted to add to CentiZen's drawing .
Keep in mind the electrical plug is located at the bottom of the Solo .
Please have enough room for it to sit/angle with ease and space .

It's kinda strange that the Silver color units are cheaper on amazon , but the opposite
at Puffitup ???

I believe it's because, on Amazon, the silver units are M107's and the black units are current models.

But as I've been informed there isn't much difference between M107's and M1D?'s...

Not trying to be smug...just curious. Couldn't you just lay it on it's side and use a whip? I think I am missing the benefit of a stand...

It rolls around, sometimes to the point of pulling the whip right out of the unit.

Yea, that is certainly not what I was envisioning, but cool concept. Once I get my unit I will begin coming up with something like that! Thanks for the quick comments on this. I have been making them for the Cloud and now Pax and everyone seems to dig them. You can click on my sig to see some of the stuff we have been making.

I'm still searching for which one I should order. I am torn between going for that silver M107 at $136 from Easyvape, the black M107 also at Easyvape for $156, or the one labeled as " The Newest Arizer Solo Portable Vaporizer" also sold by Easyvape. I am not sure what model that last one is (doesn't say) and it's basically the same price as the black M107.
