Discontinued VapeXhale Cloud

Is there a thread for that? If not, maybe you should make one.

Nah. IIRC it's been posted about a couple times in this thread. I found that it works, up to a point at least. I'm not sure I'd want to do it in the Cloud's joint, though. So I've used another piece like an adapter or Q elbow.

OK disagree with me, I can't force you to be right
Has anybody received any shipping notices since ordering on the "new" site?

By chance, I ordered within minutes of the new site going up. Got the confirmation page and email, but nothing since.

Cloud-related anticipation again.....

Great Scott!
I'm glad I didn't sell the hydracirc. I really didn't like it with my cloud (mostly didn't want to ruin the cloud with no option to get a replacement without glass) and because my bubbler seems to milk better, but I was going to get a portable bubbler for my Thermovape. I am so glad I kept it. Vapor bong stick FTW.

Now I get to keep the glass I loved, but really had no "use" for. .

Sorry, I misunderstood. I thought you were referring to some method of reducing tolerance. which would be off-topic here.

Don't mind me.

I have the HydraTree, HydraCirc, and HydraLine. I will make a video using all three so there is a basis for comparison. Might take me a couple days to get put together

Here is a quick image of the new HidraLine on top of the cloud:

I think I was the first non VXC staff member with one of these. Love it. A little harder to clean then the rest of my tubes, but probally my current favorite to hit.

As far as cleaning goes, I am having a lot of luck with pool/spa chemicals right now. MPS dissolves everything, yes its dangerous, I'm using a super concentrated solution with short dwell time, use at own risk, knowledge of handling acids, bases and oxidizers required . . . but it works and shouldn't fatigue the glass appreciably in my remaining lifetime.

Product notes: 100% pure DuPont Oxone® Monopersulfate Compound (potassium peroxymonosulfate, 42.8%). Active oxygen level is 4.3%

Edited to add: This is one step of several I use to not only clean/sterilize my diffuser but to also disassociate/dilute any remains. I sometimes use in conjunction with this things like: Iso, sodium dichlor, SimpleGreen, muriatic acid, hydrogen peroxide, Oxy Clean, bleach etc . . .

My goal is to design a system that keeps glass looking new, utilizing simple chemical washes with short dwell times, that will reduce risk of breakage. It should be inexpensive, readily available (not LHS), and require no storage of dangerous solutions.

Remember: If you pollute it, dilute it :peace:

Why is it your favorite to hit? Compare and contrast it please :) ?

I'm assuming that y'all can likely sympathize so I felt compelled to share...I am having a few drinks tonight, which I very rarely do, and in my altered state I just remembered that I have a Cloud coming my way and the largest, silliest smile started to creep across my face. When I was a kid I used to wish that I could hibernate until Christmas, and I must admit I desire much the same here. I want to wake up and hear the mailman ringing my bell. Now that I've placed the order I think the anticipation might just be the end of me!!!

I just picked up a glass whip for my cloud and I have to say its the best thing I've used on it so far. I've tried it with the hydracirc, various bongs and ash catchers and the whip is still the best thing I've used so far and I'll explain why. The cloud is so well built it really doesn't need water filtration and I feel water filtration causes some loss in taste. Because the cloud is so well built, a glass vapor tube gives you the best flavor I've ever tasted, and I've tried the volcano a few times. The cloud gets me super faded off a small amount of that CA medicinal good.

Ha well its not an all glass whip but it has glass pieces on it. It's just a whip with a glass connecter and glassmouth piece. I got it off of gotvape.com. Check it out.

And I have a question for the Vapexhale team. Any plans on making an essential oil accessory available? Because then it wouldn't just be the best vaporizer on the market but the best all around vaporizer you can get on the market.

mod note: You can post links but you shouldn't make back-to-back posts, Please use the Edit button, thanks. Posts merged.

I think if you fill one ELB with steel wool it could be powerful concentrate ELB. Steel wool is powerful concentrate heat exchanger and matrix to melt into.

Well, you certainly got me. One of the reasons I bought the Cloud was to have an all glass vapor path and not deal with silicon tubing. I'd probably just use my HydraTube empty, and then you don't have to worry about the water, and still maintain the all glass path.

-------------------

I absolutely love the epik from epicvape. It's so worth it. Great for removing hard ELBs that are in the joint, and also useful as a stirrer :-). Great invention. I got them a few weeks ago, and didn't realize how valuable they are until I got some more ELBs.

I've said this a bunch of times, but I'll say it again. I absolutely love the Cloud!

Hey Jmiknuk ,
Welcome to FC ,
That thing does look interesting ,
What do you mean by NOT all glass .
With the exception of that metal screen in the middle , it looks like it's all glass .
And it looks like it can be used for other type vapes also .

Please clarify .

This thread is constantly exciting for me, but recently has become even more exciting! :D

It is great to see preorders fulfilled, units in stock for immediate purchase, people retuning to FC from the abyss due to this cloud-induced excitement, new hydratube designs emerging, etc.

As long as it does not impact the availability or QC of units, I would love to see VX offering simple Cloud accessories. For example, their glass blowers could easily make 45 degree 18/18 adapters, as well as straight and 45 degree 14/18 adapters). I am certain that things like this would be a hit for many (due to convenience of ordering accessories with the unit, a desire to have the VX brand behind the accessory, or just to have the official logo) even if the cost were over twice the price of generic adapters.

A VXC logo'd ove-glove anyone? A plastic stand for glass cylinders used in chemistry with a VXC logo? A VX approved powerstrip from a company that does not mind VX increasing their sales by adding a VXC logo in addition to theirs? Stickers for our travel cases to also, proudly wear the VX monkey?

I wonder whether Clouds will be available from online resellers or in a physical structure first, as the production process continues to grow and stabilize...

Congratulations to the monkey crew for working hard to make a dream come true! :D

Looks to me like there is a whip piece in there? Instead of this you could just use an Arizer whip kit and cut it to whatever length you choose, but IMO this defeats the purity of the Cloud. My Cloud is in transit, but when it arrives I may use the HT from time to time dry...should be all the flavour you really need, especially at the lower end on the dial.

And I have a question for the Vapexhale team. Any plans on making an essential oil accessory available? Because then it wouldn't just be the best vaporizer on the market but the best all around vaporizer you can get on the market.

+1 I kinda miss my EQ for the potporri bow, but needed to sell it to help fund my new VXC! The SSV type aromatherapy bowl that could sit perched on top of the Cloud would be a great accessory, and i'm sure that vapexhale have a few accessory ideas up their sleeves.

It's only going to get better from here on out. I can't even believe how lucky we are that vapexhale exists.

I can't imagine an aroma diffuser for the Cloud, as the GonG of the unit does not likely transfer enough heat, and the Cloud is not meant to be left on for extended periods while not in use.

Maybe once they make a base for with an air pump that hooks into the intake, one could put aromatics in an ELB and turn on the fan for a few minutes (of course used with the VXC 18/18 male/female adapter to keep your female GonG joint free of any undesired aromatics residues)?

I would also prefer to buy a seperate aroma diffuser, rather than using some of the heating element's life to make my place smell nice. :2c:.

Yeah, you're right Progress, I never even thought about that. I take it back lol Then again, the top part of the Cloud (where it's stamped HOT) could provide enough heat to release essential oil aromas no? You could toss the cup on top between uses, for up to an hour, and many users simply toggle the switch back on to reset the timer.

I've been looking for a good stand alone aroma diffuser but haven't had much luck. I always scare myself with negative reviews.

I'm pretty sure vx will never make a base with an air pump though, just IMO.

I guess I'm missing something, but I don't get the "glass whip" thing. Isn't it just a box vape type glass bowl connector plus a glass mouthpiece with a piece of tubing? One could be put together with adapter/accessory pieces for a lot less $. There was also an earlier post with a stem-like glass piece that would seem much better suited, but IIRC the price wasn't mentioned. :2c:

Found this on a site someone linked in here the other day. It doesn't come with a bowl/slide, just the glass piece. the site advertises it as a "Sherlock style accessories. Make your bowl or ash catcher into a pipe or bubbler with this attachment. Bowls sold separately." I see it as a cloud mouthpiece :)

It can be found at the bottom of this page.

Alternatively, I have been using a broken downstem, per someones suggestion in this thread. I don't use it as much as my HydraCirc, but I like the occasional dry hit. I have a broken 18mm downstem, that I just stick on the Clouds GONG joint, and get some really concentrated tasty vapor!

The site I linked above also has a "free downstem" link where for the cost of shipping, you can get a free downstem, any size, etc. http://glassblowersdirect.com/free-downstem/
