It look different indeed. More thicker i would say.

But what i'm really looking forward with the mV is the fact that i could carry with me a small vV anywhere i want and have basicaly the same features as the vV. I don't mind if it don't fit in my pocket. I want a reliable portable with a decent battery life and a AC option. I hope the mV will offer a real control of the temperature and not pre-set options.

I think the lens and the angle combined with the vV in the background are making it look bigger than it actually is. Check out the size of the round base on the stands compared to both units, and also the power adapter plug going into the mV. I think it's pretty much the same size as the original announcement.

I don't know about that; I'd say the barrel plug in the side of the unit gives a pretty good level of scale too it and I still think it looks pretty darn big even with the possibility of a little reverse perspective in the shot. Really you'd hope Vaporfection would post an actual, well shot picture for us but I guess we aren't as cared about over here as much as they pretend we are, to have to pull it off their facebook :(

Yeah from the picture it doesnt look like it would fit in my jeans pocket very easily. not only does it look thick, but it also looks a lot longer and wider than the orignal pictures...also it looks like the smaller window on the front left is the battery indicator i believe

I guess we'll know for sure in a couple of days. If it really is much bigger, I wonder how people with pre-orders will react to that.

Hard to believe camera distortion caused that much of a difference betwen the Facebook and website images. If I only had the Facebook image to go on, I'd guess it's 1/4 - 3/8 wider, 3/8 shorter, and 50% thicker than an iPhone. But we're left guessing for now.

Always surprised when a company doesn't take advantage of the free publicity and word of mouth buzz that can be created on FC. A targeted collection of your potential buying public usually costs companies in the form of lists. We are not just the vocal members, but the quiet brethren who also have colleagues they share these devices with. Many of my associates are happy owners of Omicrons, Underdogs, and Solos, Paxs to come, and potentially MiVapes. Most of them have never been on FC, and many of them had never even heard of vaporizing before I converted them.
Now, they are sharing the word, and the goodness.

There is a vaporization revolution going on and FC is practically ground zero. Smart players in the field dig their heals deep in FC, getting solid feedback from their customer base and other vape makers a well. G @ THC SCI, Dave @ Underdog, Ed @ Ed's' TnT have all contributed to the knowledge base of the field enriching this healthy, thriving community.

Boy I never noticed how much this design looks like an ice cream sandwich.
Wait..., never mind, my wife's looking like a roasted chicken, it's past lunchtime.

The Champs Trade show in Vegas has started .
But still no info ?

Give it time, some associates of mine are getting time with a unit a little later apparently. Looking forward to hearing from them how it performs. But at the moment I bet it's like any other trade show, long lines, short demo's, and lots of confusion.

I guess I'm on an island when I say it looks easily pocketable to me. In the pic it's sitting on a smartphone car mount, but doesn't take up the full width or height. It's a little thick yeah, but no worse than some of the cell phones I've had in the past. I'll be shocked if it doesn't fit in my pockets comfortably.

Yeah I put the WISPR in my pocket. This definitely does not look bigger than the WISPR.

Gonna have to disagree with you there. Based on the 1 picture we have seen, it looks a lot longer and wider then the wispr and just as thick. After seeing someone holding it though it does look a little better but still looks huge compared to the original pictures....would love to see a video

I sent a private message to Vaporfection kindly asking them to post a picture of a miVape next to a can of soda/beer for perspective. Hopefully they listen :)

Edit: haha looks like SliM came through first!

Edit2: Ok that's definitely bigger/thicker than I thought it was. Should still fit in my pockets though. Barely.

Not sure if it will fit in my first shirt pocket... which is where I like to keep things. That would be a bummer if it was too large.

I wonder if they have an ETA on when this will ship.

I just found if you use: "champs20" as a code you will get %20 off their entire store. So if you want a miVape you can order it for like $240. I placed an order for one... so you can expect a review once I get the unit. Since this company is known for taking their time... I imagine sometime before Christmas...

Yeah that's way bigger than I thought LOL. Does it have temperature control?

From their site: it has an adjustable temperature range of +/- 300 to 400 F with the control located under the flip top.

Size does'nt bother me. I like what i see. The mV could be the greatest portable vaporizer of all time! I really want it to be so... Can't wait for more pictures, video and specs!

Size doesn't bother me.... The mV could be the greatest semi-portable vaporizer of all time!

Size is one of the main concerns for a "portable" vaporizer imo. If I can't carry it in my pocket without it bulging obviously then it isn't going to be leaving my house too often...

While smaller is always better (Pax is nice and small), the pics I see indicate it's small enough for me to consider it very portable. I'm keen to get my grubby little hands on it. :brow:

As excited as I am about this thing, I definitely will not be an early adopter. I too don't concern myself with discrete portability, but rather functional portability, kinda like the Solo. You're not going to get a PAX sized portable with all glass path, battery life, etc.....yet.

I'm more concerned with how well this thing works, period.

That looks like it would fit the inside pocket of any man's casual jacket .
Fall weather is coming . :)

That is what I was thinking. I often wear a Blazer or Sport Coat to the theatre. Hell 99% of the time in my area I am wearing a jacket. So I am not too concerned about finding a place to store it. I am getting more excited about this one since I saw the photographs. They are chugging along. I have been impressed with my viVape2 so I figured what the hell... I am going to review it someday for the blog... so might as well pre-order it with the discount code I found!

I'm a proud early adopter, and I too am concerned with how it works. But given my extensive experience with their viVape (1st and 2nd generation), I'm quite optimistic indeed. I'm even more stoked seeing the pic of it in the dude's hand (I wonder if that's Dan  ).

Nice, SliM! I used the discount code as well when I ordered the miVape earlier. I'm quite stoked to get my unit--I've been in touch with Dan and I know Vaporfection is excited. Given your past reviews of other vapes, I'm excited to see your mV review.

And as with every one of my other portable vapes, I won't carry it in my pocket and likely get a nice case for the miVape. To me, "portable" means it doesn't need a power source to operate (i.e., to be plugged in) and therefore can be used wherever (though I acknowledge they advertise it as a pocket vape). I've had the Pax from the get-go (which is the best portable I currently own, by far) and I've yet to carry that or any of my other portables in my pocket by itself when mobile. I need a case to carry the essentials as well as the vape. And I don't mind using a case. Given my mobile vaporization lifestyle, the miVape looks as though it will fit perfectly, assuming it works as well as I hope!

Nice job, Vaporfection! Keep up the good work and deliver a product that will put to rest any doubt. I'm routing for you!
