bOObs you get much better results out of a water pipe then I do. I think maybe I am trying to use my pieces that have too much volume. Are you drawing the same speed as you would directly from the device, or are you altering your draw speed?

i just set to max and rip away with a regular draw. i got like 5-6 huge rips then it was cashed.
that why i sent u a few extra so you can cut them and mod them to work with other glass. i really like using it with a reducer.

I read somewhere that totally discharging Li Ion batteries is NOT good for them, better to drain to 80% or so and then recharge.
Anyone else?

This is correct for lithium batteries. You should never discharge one below 20% of it's maximum capacity.
What they don't tell you is that almost every device in the world that uses them has circuitry to prevent this from happening anyway. When they sense the voltage is getting low they just shut off in order to stop the battery from completely discharging. It's likely the Pax has something like this.
Well that explains it! I was psyched that I finally cleaned mine last night and then this morning the little button was stuck. Yea, I put a small amount of ISO in there. I didn't soak it, just rubbed it clean. I kinda clicked my fingernail along the button and now it's fine. Glad to know what the deal is!

A friend of mine went to the dealership to test drive a car - to his surprise, the sales guy was pretty upset at him as he test drove the car to the post office, to the grocery store, etc, to see if the car could truly withstand his daily routine and demands of his lifestyle. I mean, he can't just hand out a ringing endorsement for the car to his celebrity friend who was in the market without making sure the car is capable. It's ok though, at the end of the day they became fast friends!

Yup, iloveb00bs gave me an electrode end cap and it pulls amazing milk out of the pax into my SB bubbler. It works wonders!

I agree with you here. Sometimes I feel like a trench from the MFLB gets me just as (if not more) medicated as a full oven in the pax.
Are the differences in efficiency the result of using conduction vs. convection?

edit: also, boobs; is the adapter you used in the video 18mm male to 18mm female? i found this reducer adapter which goes from 14mm female to 18mm male, however it looks like yours is an 18mm female from the video (imo). let me know, just trying to figure out exactly what to buy

that adapter is what i'm using the tip of the electrode fits right into 14mm making a very good seal. just watch out with some of the rubber boot it may smell like rubber, i have a new batch and they smell.
yeah its a custom ht, the only one of its kind for now, untill vxc start doing customs. i love the bent neck for just leaning back and taking rips.

No, I use the cigar draw that's been mentioned previously.
I only use the orange setting, mainly because my temp button is stuck (I will be sending it back to VW). Not sure if that could be affecting things.

I think your not extracting all the goods. The flavor will be gone and not much cloud but I still get very medicated. Try going a little longer with the material then you would usually and try to clear your temp button and go to high once you think its gone on orange, I get another 1 1/2 sessions.

Yeah, I'm going to try modifying my technique because it seems like most people are getting nicely medicated from the pax, so I feel like I might be doing something wrong.
It's not that I'm not getting medicated at all. On the contrary, it gets me pretty lit, but it takes more plant material than I feel like it should. I typically pack in 0.4 g, but when I've used that same amount out of a bong or mflb, I get more medicated than with the pax.
In the end, I think that I just need to play around with it a little more.
