Anyone know if they have a 18.8mm female WPA as opposed to male? All my glass is direct-inject for concentrate nails.

Hey Steele, what vape you presently rockin?

It all started with the makeshift light bulb vape before Saturday detentions back in the day... Hehe then I got a BC vaporizer (terrible). This turned me off of vaping for a while. I tried some of the box vaporizers and have tried a buddies volcano, they were neat but weren't a good fit for me.

Once I started reading of log vaporizers I snagged an Aromazap, then later upgraded to the RockZap. These units are wonderful and I am so sad to hear of Ricks misfortune...

I really like the direct draw type of units and the LSV looks and sounds really good. It will be nice to have both a super efficient rock zap and a cloud machine LSV.

In my opinion, the LSV is by far the nicest looking vaporizer on the market. If the log vapes were offered with metal casing I would have definitely had one by now.

Besides all the other good stuff.

The LSV is a TANK. It gives the hits AND can take them too.

Mine has taken many drops from the couch(3') onto a laminate floor as well as other kinds of unintentional abuse. Every time this happens I dread picking it up and finding it finally broken... but it just keeps surviving.

Great all around.

I'm still patiently waiting on the colored LSV's to drop. I contacted support a month or so ago and they said look forward to it near the end of summer. Been waiting all summer for it, can't wait to get mine :)

Ordered an LSV on amazon for 190shipped, came in yesterday and ive been using all day. Im falling in love with this piece, such a sick vaporizer.... the only thing i dont like is that it gets retarded hot and uncomfortable to hold in the hand after awhile. :disgust: ...might have to do something about that...

I remember reading other users mention that the LSV does get a little hot to the touch after a while. What is your dial set to and how long are your sessions, if you don't mind me asking? This might be a issue for me as well as i like to have long vape sessions...

I am so glad to hear about the units resilience. This is very important to me and I loved the RockZaps stainless heat port. Im very happy I'll have two durable vapes. Thank you for sharing this info.

No action videos from me but mine showed up today. I didn't get to open it until an hour ago. I was like a kid opening up his birthday presents. I ordered the LSV, a saturn vapor tamer, and 3 of those ceramic thingies. I got worried because I couldn't find my ceramic thingies but they were in the LSV bag.

The vapor tamer is in the freezer. I can't wait to try it, but that will be for tomorrow night. If the vapor tamer tames that heat, I may hold off on getting a replacement bong.

I used the LSV with the transfer wand. I had a tragedy occur with my glass bong on Tuesday so I didn't get to use the WPA. The transfer wand is definitely warm on my throat. But it medicated me well. I think I had it turned up a little too high. I ran it full blast for a few minutes, since it was new. Then I figured I'd go with the same general settings that I use with my SSV, and turned it back to 1-2 o'clock. I think I will start at 11-12 o'clock next time.

Forgot to hit Post Reply. This should have posted at Midnight Central. It's now 2 am. oops. So anyways. I'm not retyping that. I did just try the Vapor Tamer. I like it a lot. A whole lot. I called my glassblowing friend and just put in an order for a sherlock where the mouthpiece will take my vapor tamer. He told me come get it Saturday.

Awesome Tuck!

Mine came too. I ordered off the official site and got a short vapor stick, the GonG adapter, a shitload of extra screens and the bag. For all this stuff $255 shipped via USPS was a great deal.

The clouds are the most intense I have seen on a vape and I will have a product action video up soon. Very satisfied with the purchase. I just need a holding device for the unit. I'll see what I had around the house if I don't have anything I can have my machinist get on that :)

Two questions:

1. Isn't there a guy who makes LSV holders on here?
2. What dial setting do you guys use. I tried full blast and 3 o clock. Both were epic.

Thanks

Thanks boobs, I was thinking 12 O clock would be nice. Cranking it all the way up sure is crazy lol... Like borderline combustionish.

Hey FC kin. Long time lurker, first time poster! Figured this thread was a good start...

I picked up an LSV from a local shop here in town last night. Originally I went in for DBV, but the shop was sold out. The owner cut me a deal and I was the proud owner of a new LSV, they didn't have the WPA though :( . After running around for my birthday nonsense, and finding meds I was able to enjoy some dope ass vapor clouds at home.

I have owned an Easy Vape, Herbalaire, and MFLB in the past none of them were quite what I wanted in a vaporizer. Ridiculous of me, I know. However the LSV really seems to be the type of product I have been looking for over the last few years. Easy enough to pass between a group, but also great for sitting back and playing video games solo. Big ups to 7th Floor, that's for damn sure.

Are there any tips on usage? I've lurked through a lot of this and it seems to be individual to each unit. I've been setting the dial to 10 o'clock-12 o'clock personally. Also my heater cover seems to sit caddywampus, is this normal? Or should I be concerned about anything? Thanks so much to and for this community.

the heater covers are hand made so each one is slightly different, i don't think you have a problem. there is no real universal way of hitting the lsv, just mess around and you will find your own sweet spot. happy vaping!

Mine sits a little crooked as well. As in my personal life, a little low to the left is fine ;) lol. It's all good. 12 o clock to full blast seems to be my preference.

BTW: Killer avatar RobDAB. I dig it.

What a guy!
I'm glad to say that hopefully by Monday I will be joining the LSV Jedi. I been reading the threads looking for a "garage" vape. Anyone who knows me knows it's a bad idea to send out to my man cave with anything delicate. That's why only plastic glasses & plates, I break enough in the house as is. I finally decided that the LSV was going to fit the bill as the hardiest and most versitile vape for me. I was able to trade one on the classified boards for some Ti stuff & extra glass that I had, and my LSV is on its way. I'm too excited. I'll be posting pics vids and my thoughts.

1. Isn't there a guy who makes LSV holders on here?

Good question. If not someone should.

Oh and no laughing at my garage glass. The nice stuff stays inside. If I like it enough I may just have to by the LSV a glass piece all it's own. Lol

What a guy!
Well it's around 1015 pm PST and my LSV arrived today and I'm finally getting a chance to use it. Well I'm 2 draws into a small stem thats not even finished and I think I'm good for a while. I'm going to have to invest in a cork for my stem. In the meanwhile I came up with a way to keep my stem from rolling off the table. Ok so it was on the table before I got here, but I'll take credit for discovering it.

As far as my first use I can only say I'm impressed. My first draw I was really surprised by the draw speed. Being used to a CRZ it was WAY faster then I'm use to. I got an ok hit, good cloud. I realized I could no longer depend on my log to regulate my draw, so I slowed down a little bit on the second one. I got this huge billowing cloud. I was shocked. I'll make a vid in a few days. Right now. Too vaked, it was a challenge posting this with a pic.

I've had my LSV for a year, still love it. A friend of mine tried it, bought one as well.
I posted here in the past, one thing I don't like is how the cable exits the unit, I have always used a raised finger to take the weight off the cable which would otherwise be placed where the cable exits the unit. So my friends unit blew up in her hand, the metal cut through the active where the cable exits the base, so I am glad I take the safety meassure of using my finger as a strain releif for the cable when in use with a water pipe.
I think it is also lucky she was not electrocuted, she has a safetly switch but even so with the way the unit is earthed, the earth cable is just stripped and twisted around the post on the potentiometer.

These are a great design, awsome vaporizer, just so poorly put together.
I have fixed hers and made a few changes, different cable terminals to make it easier to put back together, high temp silicone cable through out instead of just the last inch before the heater, soldered an earth terminal to the inside of the body, drilled out the end cap and fitted a nylon cable gland cand covered that with a heatshrink end cap.

For minimal cost these could be made safe, as they are currently being built I would suggest caution, don't let the cables strain point be where it exits the unit.

7th floor are actually working on a cable strain relief system currently.
I believe it is due to come out in the next few months.
