How "Bad" would it be to run 5 ohm cart at 3.7v with the AW IMR 18650 2000mah??? Like low powers. Normally use 3 ohm with that same battery.

I live fairly close to PlanetVape and don't know how to get the vapable products you people in California are lucky to get. I do have access to lots thick sticky dark ISO oil made from the best BC bud. Is the Persei the best product for this..eh?

One other question....I am recovering from lung cancer....hence have to vape...will the Persei make me cough up a lung. I am OK with my ExtremeQ for bud....eh:doh:

My experience with such concentrates in Omicron carts (either with Persei or Omicron) is not positive. Those that don't leak or plug chronically (both common) foul out quickly (deposits coat the evaporation heater slowing production and giving a burnt taste).

Some of the future offerings from D9 might change this, but for now I can't recommend them for these concentrates.

Instead, I'd recommend your looking into the TV DART. Not having wicks to feed seems to help it deal with less than ideal concentrates. When it does foul out, a soak in ISO or boil in water (or both) will quickly put it back in service. You do have to load it more often, I add about 1/20 gram every 6 to 10 hits I'd estimate.

In the end how harsh it is depends on what you put in, but the process itself is easy enough to control and should give you no issues.

Good luck in your quest, IMO it's worth sorting out.

It's OK to enjoy your medicine.
I too have lung issues. Partial removal of a lobe due to cancer and now COPD. And have done what OF has recommended. I use Omi carts for my thick waxes or budders and a Low Voltage DART on my Persei for thinner EtOH, ISO (alcohol) oils and vapor fractionated oils. It's the best of both worlds... Well until G comes out with the "does it all" carts.

The nice thing about the Omicron based systems is they allow you to control how much vapor you get by using different breathing techniques, resistance carts and battery voltages. A bad day for me has me using a 2.4 or 3ohm cart for less chance of coughing. Another day it's dual 5ohm carts pumping out clouds at 7.4 volts. Nice feature.

It works for me! Plus Delta9 comes out with new attachments on a regular basis, so it won't be obsolete in 3 months.

My mother in law has COPD, and has great success using my wifes Omi, she'll be getting my v1, as soon as she gets used to using it!

Do a low volt battery (3.7volt) with a higher ohm cart (3 ohm or 4 ohm). Should help keep the coughing down. Cause it will happen if you dont keep the wattage down. The persei is powerful.

What would you suggest for puregold then OF? The TV Dart for that as well?

Hmm after few rips i can still hold it, and you can vape a load through out few sessions, i have my going for about 2 days now same load, just testing it out and all. Well I have three going.

I've had several carts that end up with burnt taste after 5-10 rips through it, after spending $100 on carts I've decided to wait till the herculus comes in, sounds like it will solve the burnt taste issue which I think is related to the leaking issue, not sure though but that's my stance.
