Thanks for the updates Rick - this is truly a nightmare; I went through something similar but on a slightly lesser scale about 15 years ago - a vengeful ex who worked for EMS which works in tandem with LE, so a phone call on her part was all that was necessary to put me in a deep hole to climb out of, but I did. It is profoundly disgusting how some people exploit protective services to harm others. Our thoughts are with you and Pat.

This is year seems to be full of angry females. By the way this year is astraly marked by the Feminine.. :D .. Damn.. can't just everybody vape a bowl and become happy and relaxed.. That would save the world a whole lotta trouble.. or cant just the power be transmitted on cute and joyful girls and women.. so they can show the world unmatched beauty and not in angry bitches.. to make everyday - apocalypse :p.

"Amazingly, there is a cultural/
prophetic context for the arising
of this Feminine-based planetary
transformation that is underway.
The Mayan 2012 prophecies
foretold of this shift of planetary
stewardship into the hands of
the Feminine. In a personal
communication with this author,
Nicaraguan Mayan Grandmother
Flordemayo, of the International
Council of 13 Indigenous
Grandmothers, explained that
the final glyph (pictogram) from
the “Mayan Story of Creation”
(the Dresden Codex) shows the
Reawakening of the Feminine."

Good to hear from you Rick. I am puzzled and saddened at the thought that you could be penalized for producing a perfectly legal appliance for people like me who are grateful for the health benefits it provides and use it in a perfectly legal manner which is approved by our doctors. Please let us know how things work out and if there is any way we can help.

Plenty of positive UD thoughts headed your way Rick & Pat.

I hope the charges get dropped (or not filed if they haven't been already) and that they don't pursue your property.

If there's anything we can do to help just let us know.

Rick, they have nothing other than a 'mishap'. It pisses me off when people blow smoke up the man's ass and an innocent soul ends up paying for it. Quite often nothing happens to the BOGUS 'whistleblower'! Best wishes.

My condolences Rick. My prayers and good vibes go out to you and your family.

I experienced a similar situation about a whistleblower falsely crying wolf in my youth... I know what the stress feels like and feeling like the world is collapsing around you. Thankfully the initial terror/shock will rapidly subside in time and all will be well.

You are a good person and we all wish you the best Rick.

Zap Family, although i never owned a Zap, i visit this thread now and then and i always enjoyed reading your posts Rick. They are either fun, informative or interesting, or a mix of the three.

And from what you share with us, i enjoy your take on life and who you are. And you guys don't deserve what happened, but sometimes life is unfair.

Sending good energy your way. :)

Like the Beatles said, Love is all you need.

Wow ... that just SUCKS! I know for a fact the police have lots of actual criminals to deal with without having to make some up ... unbelievable in this day and age ... why are we still wasting tax payer dollars on fighting something that the vast majority of the public has no problem with ... I just don't understand people :(

It seems to have occured just as you were going to make the transition with UD and retire 'your' manufacturing of the CRZ. How convenient for them. I can just hear them now,,,"We gottem now boy......heh heh heh,,,,,,"we got us a jenuwhine oil diffuser maker"......

Quick update.
Still no news a week out. Any communication they have for me will be through our lawyer.

I had a very bad day yesterday. Depression, heavy slunk hit me most of the day. We are learning about PTS and how insidious it is. Sneaky stuff. Just when you think you are doing OK, stuff falls apart. Cannot concentrate on the task at hand which now is only farm work. Lots of bad after effects from the terror last Wednesday. Dog barks now scare the crap out of us, actually any loud noise does.

We also found out yesterday when we made our twice weekly produce delivery that they even took our Howling Hills Farm checkbook and checks. Last night I found out they did not take my checks and info from........da da..........the late 1960's. We actually will not know what all they took until/unless we get it all back. They simply list "documents" from an area of the house, no detail of the documents.
It is becoming clearer and clearer they also thought I must have been shipping MJ with my Zap orders which of course has never happened. You all know that.
I guess they thought I must need more than good service and good product to make sales.

A little more on the drama.
I have an enlarged prostate and have a tough time peeing right. I can normally keep that situation under control. Last Wednesday she clinched up good. I must have tried to pee 30 or more times with only a dribble. They finally just let me stand in the yard with my back to the big crowd as I was in some severe pain from a over filled bladder. It took at least three hours after they left at noon, hot bath, etc before I got 'er drained right.
Thanks again for the support FC. You all really help these two oldsters get by one day at a time.

As for the hand off to Dave and me closing down before they came, I was asked by the lead investigator if I was "on to them". That was what they thought from my announcement about UD and us. We were not "on to them". We thought we were doing a good thing. We were simply retiring from making Aromazaps.

A bit of advice, Rick. Currently, I can no longer pee on my own and have to cath myself every three to four hours because my bladder no longer works. My prostate is 15 times the normal size. They could operate on it now, but it no longer makes sense being that my bladder is no longer functional. Why did this happen? Because I didn't have the TURP operation on my prostate sooner, when the symptoms first began and when I had my first case of acute retention like you had.

So a word to the wise. If I had to do it all over again, I would have had that operation, maintained a healthy bladder and would no longer have to cath myself every three to four hours.

Until then, I suggest you buy yourself some coude tipped caths along with some surgilube and learn how to self cath in the case of acute retention that you already experienced. What you DON'T want to happen is to have your urine back up into your kidneys which could cause kidney failure, which CAN be life threatening.

And yeah, I know that self cathing seems abhorrant, but after awhile, one can get used to anything and for me, it's become just a routine, but for you, you really need to be able to do this in case of acute retention and until you can have that TURP (roter-rooter) done on your prostate. Cathing for the first few times can be quite an experience, but it's nothing compared to permanent kidney damage.

Other than my plumbing, I'm in perfect health and I guess if I had a choice of ANY organ not working, it would be my bladder, but I really don't wish this on anyone.

If ya have ANY questions about this, please don't hesitate to ask, 'cause as of now, I AM an expert in this regard.

Hope this helps...............Take care mah friend. Know that you have people here who care.

Edit: And to all you younger guys who have not experienced this yet. Please take note.

I don't have to cath yet, but I can relate to being sick on a daily basis. I really feel for you, lwien. I wish I could help. :(

Ya know, actually, it's no big thing anymore. I know. Anytime I ever mention this to anyone, their eyes roll up in their forehead, but I've been doing this know going on about 15 years, so it's just a normal routine for me. Kind of a hassle when I go out somewhere, but again, it's amazing how we can adapt to things.

And Vickie, I don't really consider myself being sick on a daily bases. I'm totally asymptomatic and in perfect health, other than this "mechanical" issue I have to deal with. Kinda like having a toilet that doesn't flush. ;) All things considered, it could be soooooo much worse. As long as I can continue running my 20 miles a week, I'm a happy camper.

lwein, thank you for the real life personal story about mens plumbing. That is exactly what it is, a blockage in the urine flow. I appreciate your advice about self catheterizing and will get myself ready. I was once asked about an "acute event" and had to answer no. I have never have been that bad. I am even doing better in my old age for a few reasons. Relaxation, visualization(I sometimes visualize the little guy sitting in the room that opens the floodgates on a dam). I was doing better before last Wednesday in that I can now sleep 5/6 hours straight without waking up to pee. That is good, even better than 10 years ago.

In general, I have a doctor and see him irregularly as I am in decent health. As for roto rooter, I will try my best to avoid any cutting of any kind on my body as always. I say that knowing someday I may have to change my mind on that one. I do have open private space around me at just about any time so I pee whenever the urge hits. Another thing for you younger and older guys, don't hold your pee. The tighter you clinch the prostate, the worser it gets.

What happened last Wednesday was immediate acute stress that loaded up the adrenalin(opposite of relax), almost the worst that could happen to us with the exception of a family health problem.

We were lucky. Nobody shot and no dog shot. Once they knew who they really had, they were even more respectful to us all.

I don't know what to say. Nothing seems adequate. Rick, I'm so sorry that you and Pat are going through such troubling times. I pray you soon find your way safely through this and also that this sad woman can find peace and begin concentrating on uplifting her own life instead of tearing down others'...

Thanks Lwien.
