Hello everybody
I am a friend of Rick and Pat. I have been givin some info on what has happened to them this week. here is what i can say about it, all from the horse's mouth.
1....They were woke up at 6AM wednesday am by 30 or so very big heavy armed police. All had very big guns and were screaming at the top of there lungs.
2....they had all the the stuff with them to deal with bad people. Drug dog, many many police and of coarse a sniper. The sniper even dropped a clip in Ricks woods,another police found it.
3......The warrant did not mention Aromazap. They were after a big grow and Rick selling pot.
4.......One police told Rick he had been following him on FC since January. he said he nows more about Rick than Rick does.
5........They were at Ricks from 6 AM till noon.
6............they searched every inch of 80 acres of wooded property and every building as thuro as possible.
7.......they found no grow or pot from a grow. they did get a few small amounts hear and there, including a very small jar in pats ceder chest from 2005. Rick says they had no idea it was there.
8.....they took everything aromazap related. all parts, shells, cords, tootys, even his last ten heatports. Rick cannot ship anything at this time. He has refunded any open order yesterday.
9......rick and pat are in legal limbo. Nobody was arrested. Rick,pat and family sat on there porch all day visiting about what happened.
10......the police expected a big time drug guy and did not find that.They found 2 old hippies just trying to make a honest living. The police and r&p visited and taliked about lots of stuff all morning, laughing and joking. one of them had his pic taken wearing Mikes meat room apron. It has a pick of a naked man on front with balls and dick and hair. They laughed alot on that one.
11........this happened 100% because of ricks ex daughter in law. She was the 'informant' who lied thru her teeth to hurt R&Ps family. She is a very confused, very real ****###***
R&P and family are doing fine except aromazap is deader than a dornail for now.

This makes me sick to my stomach and ashamed of the USA.
If the police are so well informed and know "more about you than you know about yourself" then maybe they need to do a little more homework before they start terrorizing people for no reason.
At least they weren't arrested.

I just wanted to congratulate Rick with his collaboration with UD Dave, but it's obvious he has other thinks on his mind right now.
I don't really know what to say right now but best of luck to you and your family man, I just hope you'll be able to laugh about all of this sooner rather then later.

What's your point with the sad face? That he said he knows more about him than Rick does? Pure bullshit of course, and meaningless. Or is it news that cops know how to find mj forums? I've been on various weed forums for many years and never heard of anyone getting busted on the basis of a forum membership. Just keep any personal info (of an identifying nature) off the boards. After taking my first hit of the day from my beautiful redwood CRZ, I decided to log onto here to check in and see how this thread was doing - see if there were questions I could answer, hear about some good thing Rick had done for a customer, and the like. Instead, I get to this thread and see this disturbing news.
I'll be keeping Rick and Pat in my thoughts.

All the comments bring lots of tears to our eyes. Thank you all so much for the support. It helps us get through this period of not knowing. All of what Friend said is accurate. I did not want to post the information for some reason.
I want to add that the Idaho State Police have issued a public document relating to our property. They have seized our property to keep us from selling it or liening it. They have 90 days to file some sort of civil action to begin actual forfeiture proceedings on our property. There are several bridges to cross before that could happen but it is certainly possible. If they do decide to proceed, it will be over Aromazap only as there was no evidence we were growing or selling pot. We do NOT do that stuff.
This will be it for now from Rick. Pat and I and our family are getting a little better every day as far as being able to eat and shit right and even laugh a little. That was full on Terror we experienced. Do not get angry with the LEOs. They were given a huge lie about us from a very convincing person. They had to act in some way. Someone was not very thorough in vetting the informant so they(LEO) goofed up that way. They were all for the most part very human. We chatted and shook hands with many of them. They were just doing their job.
Keep the comments coming. Our FC family helps us get through this post terror stage.
Oh, one more thing about our changing society. We have always heard "the fight or flight" thing that happens during a terror filled event. This one is from Pat. It is no longer "fight or flight". It is now "fight or flight or SIT TITE! If you fight or flight, you are dead.

Pat's advice on 'sit tight' is very wise in cases like this. Our instincts are still fight or flight, but in today's world neither option is a good one when dealing with LEO's.
Hopefully his boss is really pissed at that "someone" for this waste of time and money. Our tax dollars at work.

We have an excellent lawyer. Our relationship goes back 30 years or so. He has much respect in the Justice community and we are very thankful the Universe hooked us up years ago. I would say he is the best man for the job. Period. He knows us.
Abysmal, good thoughts and vibes is what we want. That stuff influences the Universe(God). The Universe is our ultimate Protector.

Oh yes, another. I forgot to add that besides the malice and hate expressed through the lie to LEO to hurt Rick, Pat and family, there was certainly also the motive of good old money promised to the informant as Idaho has a secret informant law as probably all states have.
Also you folks on FC are safe. Our problems were precipitated by a selfish womans scorn. Yes, I accept due 'blame' for whatever I have done but the warrant was obtained because someone lied to LEO about a big grow that never was.
