Its almost like the Wicked Roots Super Vapezilla same concept. One of my questions is where can i find some whip mouthpieces for this thing. The hose that it uses is pretty large I.D. is 1/2". Ive found some places but nothing really i like if anyone has some links or site that they can recommend thx. Ill get some pix up of this unit! Well have a good one

The Wicked Roots tubing is 1/2" silicone and a big improvement over a pvc tubing. Not that I am a fan of WR by any means. It seems they have the good tubing though.

But, silicone tubing attracts dust and fuzz like a magnet. The other problem with silicone is it gets dis-colored from the inside, eventualy looking pretty grungy even after a good cleaning. :)

I'm interested in what you think of the unit. What is optimum temp to vape at ? How fast is heat up time ? How economical ? I own the super vz & vaporfection stealth . Both very good units just like to compare. The szv takes about 5 mins to heat to 360 -370f & must be left on to cool down for quite a while. A real hassle one of the downsides to the svz. The stealth about 2 mins heat up ,turn off when finished auto cooldown . Makes the stealth my preference over the svz . Try these sites maybe for mouthpieces. They may all be to small though.:/

ozwiz: hey whats up thx for stoppen by well start up time to get to 360deg is about 2min if that. You can start to vape around 285deg if your looking to see some smoke come out. 350deg is where i like to keep it at or lower if your trying to get the taste out the flowers your vaping. The one thing that is the best part of the unit is you DONT have to remove the whip from the unit while your away from it. You can leave a packed bowl inside and walk away for like 5hrs and hit it with no problems of the flowers being burnt or wasted. Thanks for the sites

The best place I've found for really nice mouthpieces is from 7th Floor-both SSV and Da Buddha sites. Very reasonable prices compared to other sites.

Never heard of this type of vap. Man, there are so many diffferent types of vaporisers around these days. The world of smoking sure has changed a lot in the time I have been a toker. I mean, its not smoking anymore is it. haha I have over 2 oz's of vapor poo just waiting to be either baked or re-vapped for the desperate. If it was smoking I'd only have ash, black shit on my hands and a sore throat.

'Dawsonator' tells me that this is the current version of 'The Fogger', which is the original digital whip vape-the predecessor to the Super Vapezilla. The builder/designer is Chris Dawson. I think he made some kind of deal with Wicked Roots for sale of the design that said he couldn't commercially market his vape anymore, thus the http://209.62.78.195/home.php URL. The Fogger didn't have a fan so the Pump version, with a hookup for "air compressor", gives the user the option of hooking up something like an aquarium pump I imagine.

The Evolutions 7, sold by Gotvape and some other dealers, fits into this mess somehow:

"Intergrated Themal Management Solutions employ the mind behind several cutting edge vaporizers that have been developed over the past several years including The Fogger, The B-Real Vaporizer and most recently with the Super Vapezilla." http://www.gotvape.com/store/evolutions.vaporizer.php http://www.vapornation.com/articles/2007/evolution-vaporizers/

So you've got the Evolution VII (current 'Fogger' without forced air), Evolutions 7, and Super Vapezilla-all seemingly designed by Chris Dawson, more or less. And the Vaporfection Stealth probably started out with someone taking one of these units apart.

I remember reading some posts a long time about about the Fogger vs Wicked Roots, good to hear the original creator is still in the game. I would imagine his current incarnation (Evolution VII) is superior to the Super/Vapezilla, shame he can't market it.

i kinda know what i'm lookin at, and i kinda don't. kinda looks like a robot with one clear arm and one white arm....hahaha

Reading all this kinda changes my memory. I bought a fogger, then an evolutons, then another evolutions, I wonder which one I have? The original one was from Chris Dawson and then when that broke, I emailed that address and another guy replied saying that he had taken over, I don't know if I have the one in the picture, or the one that gotvape sells. Can there really be two models with the only diffrence being: 7 and VII? Oh well, now that the last model has broke, I ain't replacing that one.

Hello! I know I'm a bit late on this post but...

Chris Dawson is still in the game!!!

New website is up, we do sell custom mouthpieces. The Dawsonator started out blowing glass, you know.

The version with the air compressor port allows you to fill a bag if you so desire. It's also great to just blast yourself. :ko:

Better Late than never huh. Welcome to the board Mr Dawson.

Question for you. There was a guy that was selling a vaporizer that looked exactly like the Evolutions V7 a while back, he even made some vids on You tube. Went by the name 'Modern Vaporizer" or something, what that you?

Ok I was wondering about that because they looked exactly the same. Those are really nice slides on your website by the way. Never heard of that artist but I imagine I will be in the future with work like that.

Oh...

We make vaporizers, not soldering irons!

Ha! Ha! I love that slogan!!!

It would be interesting to get details about its air path, just to make sure...

I second that. It would also be nice to know how that front piece connects, the small glass adapter that says free under warranty. I know what it is for (A dock for the wand)
I don't see how it works, is it held in by the Silcone sleeve?
I know most companies have theirs attached to the main heating chamber, what is the benefit of keeping it separate?
Is it so that you have some play? Or does it help the sealing feature?

Sorry for all the questions, just curious.

The female ground glass joint is inserted snugly in the silicone tube which is clamped onto the end of the stainless steel heating element casing. The benefit is that if it breaks that's all that breaks unlike other models.

We've recently found through experimentation that the female ground glass joint might be completely unnecessary and only hinders things slightly by drawing heat away that would otherwise be heating the bowl. Without it we've had to lower the temperature we have our own vape set on. Chris insists that some customers like the idea of glass on glass so much that they won't like the change which would include removal of the female joint and a shorter bowl. I think that no one would care if it betters the quality of the hit, right? The bowl doesn't stay sticking straight out from the vaporizer anymore but it doesn't slide out of the silicone either. I can pick the vape up by the hose without the bowl slipping on our revised vape. So we might just be seeing that component disappear altogether in the near future.

Alex ;)
