Thank you OF, I feel the same way about you. Your experience and wisdom have helped me in many areas when it comes to vaping and equipment, your advice and comments are invaluable IMO.

I am 51 and it still amazes me the bond one can form with people one has never met. It is a shame we all live so far apart from each other. A Fuckcombustion party would be great, to be able to sit down with friends and vape and chat together and discuss and try our favorites.

My best to you and your family OF, I always look forward to your comments.

Wow! What an ego rush, thank you very much. Exactly that is, of course, the goal. Helping good folks is a treat for sure.

I've got a few more years on you (some of them tougher than others....) but couldn't agree with you more. With very few exceptions great people here to share their enjoyment and help one another. Doesn't get much better than that. A great bunch, while it would be fun to have some sort of 'everyone meet at Reno on the first of August' event, perhaps the very point we are only bits on Al Gore's Internet is part of it?

Thanks much also for the kind wishes, I'll try to take direct action on that this very day! Weather here remains monotonously wonderful....'high sixties/low seventies' for the next week.....again.

Its funny that the units are scheduled to ship on Monday at the latest....but according to got vape they already went out July 1st, and if the company is still making changes and admitted they havent shipped as of tuesday the 2nd, I highly doubt gotvape will get a shipment by monday ready to distribute.

Ain't it just so? Fits the pattern though doesn't it?

Hey, maybe they know something Andrew and we don't? Like using 'negative time' to get through shipment and customs? Maybe it's more magic than we yet know.....

Get your Freak on....
The airflow on the Puffit is much better than the airflow on an Iolite, but the Iolite has thicker clouds. I think the Puffit is going to be more of a 'getting it into concerts' vaporizer rather than an everyday driver, but it is nice for a small group of friends to share while they are out and about. The stealthy nature of the Puffit is what puts it a notch up in my book, and I really do like the better airflow.

I just received my Solo yesterday, and amazed is the only word I can use to describe it. The very first draw after charging it was awesome, I finished a whole stem and was absolutely wasted for several hours afterwards. After only using it twice, I also feel that if you only wanted to purchase one vaporizer, the Solo would be an excellent choice.

The Puffit still trumps the Solo on draw speed, bit the clouds are much whispier with the Puffit, but the Puffit fits into a nice little category for public vaping, the Solo and Iolite do not have that stealthy nature.

I am certainly happy with my Puffit purchase, knowing what I know now, I would still love to have one if I didn't own one, it is a kick ass public vape, and does a very good job of medicating. The fact that the Puffit doesn't create huge clouds is an extra bonus IMO just for the fact that it is a stealthy vape, and large clouds from an inhaler would take away from its stealthy nature.

I feel very lucky to have found this forum, I have only purchased one vaporizer (before FC) that I was disappointed with, and that would be to Vapbong. Thanks to the honest, open forum here I have been able to weed out the crappy ones I was interested in (Atmos Raw) and invest my money into excellent working, quality vapes.

I wish I could thank everyone individually for all the help, you all have made my vaping experience much better, and as I look over my collection, I am thankful that there is only one that I will never use again.

Have an excellent day everyone, I hope I was able to help with the questions, please feel free to ask if you need more answers, love to all.

Dogman.. You are One of them.. That you talk about and Thank... "THANK YOU" as well as you are a big help around here...

p.s. Dogman check out Ed's Custom Stems for the Solo.. I have heard they greatly improve the airflow.. I just got one yesterday and will try it out later today..

My og iolite v1 sucked terribly. If the clouds are wispy but the taste, vapor production, and air flow are good ill order today.

Forget cloud size, unless I really, really try to the mflb is the same way.
I just like something that doesn't make me draw so hard it constricts my chest almost (IE: og iolite, tV1)
I love easy draws like my mflb, or desktop wise my extreme.
i love the solo but it cant compete with the airflow stock but with eds stems its great.......still a harder, slower draw than the others.

Taking all this into account, would you take the plunge?
Does it sound like the flow/draw would make me happy or irritate me?

Anyone know if the Puffit will be carried by a online canadian vendor? Unless i'm absolutely certain that it can be shipped custom friendly...

actually... a solo in a McDonalds cup (pictures are in the solo thread somewhere) is pretty darn stealthy!!!!

and also a big thank you to you Dogman for the Honest review. I own a Solo, a MFLB and i used to own an Iolite (not a wispr) that i got last year and a DBV for use at home. i LOVE my DBV for sure!!! but when it comes to the portables:

my Iolite was a love/hate relationship.... i thought it hit great (mine had great airflow) and i got great vapor clouds and very medicated.... the hate part stems from fighting with it in colder temps to get it "lit" and the "hissing" noise was not good for stealth. i sold it to a family member that LOVES it!!! so no issue with airflow there

My MFLB..... i hate it!!! i got it cause of the great reviews here but could never get the same results as anyone else. i even returned it for the newest model (i will not knock their warrantee at all!!!) but still only liked it slightly better. i could not get good hits from it (and yes i tried every technique from this board), no vapor clouds, the taste was only good for the first hit, and i really never felt fully "medicated". the airflow was decent but i could not get good hits from it. I still own it but want to see it very badly but do not have enough posts in the forums to allow me to put it up for sale (anyone want to contact me directly to make me an offer... feel free)

My Solo is semi new. just got it this year (M107). i love this one too (except for the bad airflow). i get great hits, thick clouds, and a great medicated feeling!! combine that with my McDonald's cup and PV's stealth adapter i have a great stealth vape too. Just not very easy to take the cup on my motorcycle for road trips, so that why i am looking at the Puffit.

That is the big advantage to the Puffit, most other vapes also cause some lung constriction, I can draw as fast as I want and still get a good hit. My T1 is a lung constrictor, and I love my T1, but I have to stop hitting it at times just to get some air. I usually take a couple of large inhale/exhale to build some oxygen in my system before hitting my T1.

That is not a problem with the Puffit, it has very nice airflow and still gets me medicated as anything else.

I did not mention this earlier, I was in my towns 4th of July parade riding a clown bike with offset rims and took a few 'inhaler' hits while on the route. No one was the wiser.

So, no constriction, easy draw, ability to produce a cloud or be invisible vapor (technique i suppose), no constriction, and looks like an inhaler?
I believe I'm in

so i am thinking about pulling the trigger here on the Puffit before the pre-sale price goes up (if it goes up) but have one last question.... with all the not-so-good talk about GotVape, and the fact that Vapornation is advertising on their site that they will be shipping the Puffit too (and with the FC11 code you get an extra 11% off the price bringing it to $124.59 shipped), do you think i would be waiting an extra long time if i order from Vapornation?? Even the Mfg (DiscreetVapes) says they are doing all their dealing with GotVape. is it better to pay the extra and go with GotVape or should i order from VaporNation??? any opinions from the good folks on this board???

I believe that earlier Andrew said that GotVape is the primary distributor for North America, so that leads me to believe that VaporNation won't be getting any to ship until GV sends them some. Could be waiting awhile If GV fills all of their orders first before sending any to VaporNation.

Don't quote me on any of that though.

Sorry.... I couldn't resist quoting.

Seriously, though, I also share in this assumption.

I'll be sitting this one out for now. I don't want GV to get any of my money either directly or indirectly as a wholesale distributor.

But that's just me.

GotVape is good to me. I gotta reread the battery thing, replacements and such in the thread but if it looks reasonable im ordering GV

Has anyone else noticed the similarities between this and the Pax?

-Power switch in mouthpiece

-Change temp by taking off mouthpiece and pressing button

-Conduction vape (quite rare)

-color changing LEDS

-.25g bowl

-made in Hong Kong

-Supposed to "pack bowl tightly" (never heard this about any vape-in fact, usually it's just the opposite)

I'm just curious if there is some connection between the Puffit people and the Pax people. Anyone know?

I've always packed tight bowls in vapes, and it's worked well for me. Airflow has never been a huge issue, and I love the big hits. This goes for the portables I've used, though.

I doubt they're connected. They both occupy the same market space, the convenient portable. If they were BOTH on the market now, I'd probably choose the Pax (just by looking at it), but I'm impatient so now I've relegated myself to throw my money the screen until delivery day.

Overall how do you like your DaVinci Tim?????

Personally, I don't find it awfully discreet (which is what I'm currently looking for). It's GREAT for plugging it in at home for multiple sessions. It's also nice for the car, charging adapters are a dollar a dozen these days.

It's great for set-and-forget. If the Puffit can pull hits as big as the DV, I'd be impressed.

Based on the video, I would say you won't be that impressed.

I know, but I'm holding my judgement.. But you're right. Small "wispy" hits are nice when you want a long session, but sometimes you just want to blast through it at the highest temp.

Big clouds aren't very stealthy or discreet, which is the whole point of this unit for me

Holding in the vapor for a few extra seconds can greatly diminish the amount of visible vapor exhaled, in my experience.
Also, getting to your "proper" level of medication in 4-5 hits is much stealthier than needing to take 20-30 hits. :2c: :)

This is all preference. I like the clouds, but its not always an option. One or two good "wispy vapo" hits held in can not only be useful, but can get me leveled out when being inconspicous is key.

Either way, all of us who ordered, lets just hope were happy with it
