Discontinued The Universe Adapter for herbs and concentrates.

initial tests.

Empty.

7.4v heats up to 410F in 15 seconds

3.7v heats in 25 seconds.

My understanding is there is no built in temperature control for this, but will it hit a maximum temperature? I would assume that based on battery power there would be some limit and it would be variable over the life of the charge.

I think I will have another good use for my infrared thermometer.

Only a limited amount at a discount will be available for pre orders. This will be testers and will have an option for trade in for the production version.
That sounds like a pretty good solution to some the issues that have come up. This way you still get to have the community involvement and leverage the group of willing guinea pigs (myself included), but not have customers who are looking for immediate smooth operation and having trouble using it.

Thanks, we know the techs new and never been done in this scale but we are going to do our finest to get it to work right.

This means the Final prototype of the flower carts are in testing by end of this week and this is make it or break it for us, either we are going to put up or shut up.

High wall to get over in one jump, I hope for all our sakes this one's a winner out of the chute then. Is this just 7.4 Volt or does 'they' include 3.7 Volt versions?

Wow! If it whispers at 3.7, it must scream at 7.4 (four times the power....). How cool is that? No, that should be hot.....

Thanks, hope it works out, sounds pretty neat to me.

thats awesome and revolutionary, i was thinking about buying 2 (one for 3.7 and one for 7.4) but now i don't have to!

Well hold on guys let me explain.

3.7v version should work with 7.4v configuration, but what is optimized for 7.4v won't work with 3.7v

Most likely we will have three versions, wait for more info to come.

G, quick question. Will the Universe be able to serve as a load as you go system?

i thought this was gonna be for sale starting monday tuesday this week as in today..

You are overdoing the meds! ;)

Seriously I wish it were out already too, but D9V is going to make sure it works right before it goes on sale (and I applaud them for it). I am seriously looking forward to this device as I find the effect of vaping flower seems to work better when I get headaches.

My understanding (which has been flawed before) is that it will be load as you go.

Yes load as you go.

From initial planning and we need to get this straight or more issues will pop up, but trying to get oil and herb in one unit, but looks like its going to be difficult. Different temperatures needed.

Its going to be hard telling people why they have residue in their unit after they vaporized their oil.

Now that I don't understand. The residue is the non THC 'contamination' that was in the oil, but the all powerful Universe separated it out to deliver the most pure vapor possible to the customer.... Right? You don't want to be breathing that junk in, do you?

It's not a problem, it's a feature.

"Better to boil it out than cough it up...".

Well going with the TI nail crowed. They vaporize everything at lets say around 1000F this vaporizes contaminates also, things that we dont need.

But try vaporizing around 450F now youll see even the cleanest of clean oils leave behind residue. Well coming from the oil industry people will complain.

I get that. Try telling blazers they're also taking in nasty stuff.....no, wait, you've done that as have we all.

How about you suggest they take some of that 'wasted' oil and put it on their nail and see what happens?

Whatever you come up with, I hope I don't have to breathe in a bunch of junk just to make them happy.......

It's revolutionary to get 3 things to work in one device. Isn't thc's boiling point 365f? Then should all herbs and oils vape the same way?

I'm no scientist, but I believe your correct. But for the instant gratification crowd, I think the higher temps allow much more oil to be vaped at once. Dual mode does sound tough, maybe the 3.7 version will be good with flowers @ 3.7v, but might work for oil better @ 7.4v? As usual I'm full of uninformed speculation...
