So after discovering concentrates, ive raised my tolerance quite high (not intentionally) and my herb vapes hardly get me medicated anymore. Ive tried concentrates in my ssv and it just seems to get the wand nasty, the hash seems to melt without giving off vapor. And of course concentrates in the mflb is a no no. So they are kinda sitting and in the past week i only break them out when company is over who wants to use it. Ive been combusting more cause the vapes cant match the effects of a hash topped bowl.

So i know a tbreak would help, but i dont know if thats possible. Is there a better way to use concentrates in the ssv or mflb? I spent a lot of cash on these things and want to use them. In the ssv ive tried the ceramic discs for wax and topping herb with wax and either had limited results. It seems the temp is high enough to vape the herb, but only hot enough to melt the hash, not bubble and vaporize. And if i crank the heat for the hash, it combusts the herb.

Hopefully someone has some ingenious ideas

Concentrates on the box are a no-go, I saw a video of Vito putting some concentrate on a little ball of cotton and folding it over, then putting it in the box. The cotton didn't vape but the concentrate did and he exhaled a nice fat cloud. I'm too paranoid of the stuff melting onto my screen to try it out just get, but MF should be coming out with a concentrate adapter soon. Other than that, either keep going with the concentrates or t-break it. You can try vaping some herb and then after vaping a little bit less hash than you would normally use, and use the vaped herb as a "cushion" to help boost the bit of hash?

Vito is the man! Havent had an interaction with him in a while but i did see that vid too. What am i thinking posting my gripes before trying the suggestions from the vapor guru?

I don't have any experience with your 2 vapes, but IME the first few hits with hash never give vapor, just taste, but if you then stir it up with a poker it starts giving vapor.

organic cotton ball with bho in it works well in whip vapes. go hotter than for flowers. i do this in the EQ with the tips of cotton swabs into the elbow.

Because you're talking about the EU definition of hash with 60% of plant material. This would be called bubble hash by the americans and will dry and/or gunk your screens (as stated by Djonkoman)

VS.

Quetzal & co. are talking about the US definition of hash = full melt or oil that will totally melt under heat influence!

I've never heard of using cotton for this purpose, only for oils.

So you place it as you do an elbow pack?

I feel the same, the taste and knock you on your butt is not there with vaping. Have you ever done a dap. I've never tried one but wonder if it comes close to a bowl topped with hash.

Always an important distinction to keep in mind when giving advice here at FC. EU hash is generally worse apart from what you can find in Holland.

i always think of bho as an oil. once it warms up in the cotton, it soaks in.
i do it as an elbow pack because it lets you load less and get full clouds.

EU has amazing bubble hashes (NL and elsewhere!!!) and very good homemade concentrates, I guarantee! :science:

And guys for vaping concentrates those ceramic pads from 7th floor (this is identical to the health stone vaporizers) are super efficient.
The liquid pad for the volcano is pretty efficient too!

Maybe ill try the cotton trick but i never get oil, just waxes, budders and nectars...so im not sure how it works....doing dabs is the only way i can get a decent level of blazed anymore.....flowers have become social.....just to have something to smoke on with people....but hardly get me faded alone.

Exactly the same... with the above stated stone/ceramic pad you can vape your oil/wax/budder/fullmelt/amber/shatter...whatever liquefies on those! With the cotton it will also work, might be a little more messy with wax/budder!

It can but you would be better off ordering one of the hash vapes that work modularly with the T1 base.

Solids also contain plant matter that can coat your lungs and reduce the amount of thc within the vapor that is spread onto lung tissue, hereby creating smaller entry points that will require higher concentrated doses of thc and therefore wasting the remaining that sits above the coated area. It's the same story with smokers who roll up as opposed to vaporizer users. The less the temp, the less you get, the healtier it is, the faster your lungs can get rid of foreign material, the sooner you can get higher again, the less shit enters your body which results in a less likely smoking/by-combustion health hazard.

If you are to map out where you stand, the starting point would be just inhaling air and the finishing point would be inhaling smoke, anything in between is your vaporizer and the temperature you set it on.
