Lostclusters, how has cleaning been so far? I am kinda surprised with how dirty the demo video showed it (alot of resin). I didn't think it would get more dirty than the stem and bowl kinda like the Solo.

Also, just curious why you use the pollen cup with the flowers? I'm wondering if this cup provides more conduction? Minivap themselves did say that there is a simply mod to create more conduction, i was almost under the assumption that you didn't need to purchase anything extra. Personally, I prefer more convection which is another reason i'm considering buying this vape.

That video must have been setup to show the very worst scenario.

Cleaning has been fairly light. Once the ABV is discarded a dry qtip around the inside of the bowl and across the lid screen is all that is really needed in the short term. I would not say the Teflon will not hold on to the resins. But so far I have needed was a dry qtip after each bowl.

I did not know the screen cup was for pollen. I thought it was for flowers. I have not tried it without it yet. But I am expecting less drag on the draw and a slightly faster material heat up.

edit : loaded a decent bowl. the taste is awesome, I'm on the low temp setting
no plastic smell at all ! for a brand new device this is impressive

I filled the small chamber full of high grade twice

Glad your mini is treating you good. By low temp do you mean blue or pink?

Now I mainly use the green setting
I don't get vapors at blue or pink
What temperature are you using ?

Compared to the volcano, there is less visible vapor produced
I find it a little slow to heat up, especially for the red setting
The extraction and the medication is excellent
I vaped AVB from the minivap on the volcano at th 9 : almost nothing left

How do you pull on it ? slow / medium / hard ? I'm new with direct draw

battery display is weird I get a yellow light like 3 sessions after charging

I was not aware there was a yellow battery indicator. Should be green, pink, and violet. Takes mine a bunch of sessions to get to pink.

Like every vape I think this one needs a little time to get used to it and use it to the maximal potential
From a freshly charged battery, (just taken from the dock) it took :
4'45 to get the green temperature 210°c, not bad finally (5'40 for the volcano)
9'20 to get to the red temperature 225°c (6'40 for the volcano)

But then I tried to get back to the green and I'm still waiting for the device to get back from red
seems long to chill ! Almost 10 minutes and its still flashing.. 15 minutes.. Don't want to get back to fixed green. Still don't. Fuck I don't get it. > I switched it off, hard reset, then on again and it's back to fixed green. Right.

Yesterday I used it and after I stopped it, a blue light appeared on the front of the device, but the battery led was off. wtf is going on ? It does it every time I stop it after setting heavy heat and then I can't switch it back on if I don't do a hard reset. Is it a overheat protection ? Overheat signal maybe.. I may have to pull harder on the straw
Its not stopping over time, I have to hard reset by unplugging the battery.

Seems to me like a buggy behavior at the beginning but now I think it's because I don't master the device

Edit : the high is very powerful in the good way. Don't take a lot of stuff to get fine.
Its working really well for the extraction but I don't get a lot of visible vapor for the moment

The blue flashing light is an indicator that it is the standby mode. All you should need to do is press either button and it should go back into the heating/use mode. Sometimes you need to hold the button in a bit for it to register.

The first unit I had, sometimes the flashing heat indicator would not stop flashing going up or down the scale. The replacement I got seems to have fixed that issue.

I got a full answer from the minivap service, there is a small bug in the internal software, found by me and another user, they are working on it and I will get the procedure to update it.

No usb plug. Though that would be nifty.

A apparent port on the device ? Beh. I think there is a port inside or something like that to update. maybe will have to unscrew of stuff

The dev team is working to fix the minors bugs. They don't affect the usability of the device, just got to reboot sometimes. So its not perfect yet but I hope its gonna be with the update.

So far its working well, It does get me high.
But it does not produce that much visible vapors.

I still only use the volcano at home. It gives me a more full feeling with real thick vapors and I like the fact that I don't need to pull.

In fact, I don't really like direct draw. Maybe because I only used the cano for such a long time.. Or maybe I don't know how to pull properly which can explain the little vapors
Don't like the hot air and all that hotness in the mouth

I only use it outside, the small vapors emission gets handy when you want to use it in a stealthy way. I used it in the train (only 2 people on the wagon) I got seriously stoned from a really little visible vapors.

You totally can get huge clouds if you pack a lot of stuff in it (too much)
I have the feeling that I need to use a bit more weed than I use in the volcano to get the fulfillment. Maybe its due to my lack of experience with the machine vs 4 years of everyday use with the cano.
The quality of the high is really top notch. That's Great

I was thinking about a pump module who can be inserted between the battery and the heating module. The actual engineering makes that quite possible and easy to pull/remove like a plugin since the air entry is on the bottom. Would be totally possible
Inflate some balloons outdoor > awesome

Also, I search a small water filter that I could use for this and my balloons
A kind of easy to carry and not too obviously busted .. If that doesn't exist, some one got to make one
I vape a lot and the vapors can be a bit irritating sometimes
I may buy a small glass bong but that would not be handy

Lol I may be stoned, but what about a water filtration plugin that you put on top of the device ? Don't know if that can be possible since putting water close to the machine require extreme precaution. Maybe it is.
Don't need that much surface to water filtrate after all

imagine that shit : a portable vaporizer, providing water filtred and chilled vapors in a balloon or in direct draw with a pump that does the drawing job for you, so all you got to do is breathe

Mine used to produce big clouds when it was new, but not so much lately. I was thinking about sending it back for an inspection on the heater. I will make an inquiry on the web site.
