Obamacare

Can I simply ask you , without stiring any mess , how President Obama insulted veterans? Seeing as I am one , a disabled one at that , I would simply like a first source document stating how he has insulted me and my brothers and sisters in arms?

And I will simply restate what I said before : I am grateful to my higher power that I have the benefits that I have through the VA and pray that those who need health care services can find them.

Well, you've been targeted as a possible domestic terrorist by his hand-picked DHS moonbat.

What if you are wrong? I'm praying everything stands as is. I'm sick of worrying.

I'm not.

Seriously, Vicki. You need to read the bill. Its not what you think it is, or what they've been telling you. It is going to become HARDER for you to get the medication, appointments, etc... that you want or desire.

I'm one of your brothers in arms, and I am under the VA's care as well. I, like you, have never felt that Obama has insulted me in any way, and I too pray that those that need health care can find it. I know that if it wasn't for the VA, I would be in pretty dire straights.

I was at the VA yesterday and while I was waiting for the Doc, one of the administrators came up to me and said, "Thank you for your service.", and I said right back to her, "And thank you for your service as well.". There's a commoradre at the VA that is very welcoming and some times, I feel kind of guilty when I see people who REALLY need the health care but are too poor or too mentally challenged to get it.

Chief Justice handed Omama a win, but it was actually a ticking time bomb. There is no way in hell that Obama can get reelected with his entire Healthcare package being labeled as a tax.
This in by itself, the LARGEST tax hike in U.S, History, and Chief Justice Roberts has handed the White House to Romney come November.
How is THAT, Barack for a lesson on separate but EQUAL branches of government? Check and mate!!
Add to this, the fact that in 2010, as Obamacare was being rammed down our throats, we took 80 seats from the liberals & took control of the House. THIS year, we will win more, and get control of the Senate as well, making it a very easy task to repeal the perfectly (yet reprehensible) Obamacare.
Late today, Dick Morris and Nina Easton started getting airtime & confirmed my thoughts on the real victor in the fight, morris even hinting at the possibility of Roberts getting some retribution

Actually , Timothy Mcveigh fucked that one up for me. I was a Combat Engineer , just like he has. The FBI places all Combat Engineers on a watchlist after they leave the service , due to our knowledge of demolitions and improvised explosives, thanks to him.

I understand what you mean 100%. I was injured pretty badly in Iraq and if it wasent for the VA , I would not have the income to support my wife nor access to healthcare or mental health care I need.

I'm not a combat engineer. Why am I on the list?

I can only comment for myself and my situation. If you dont agree with a policy , then use your voting power to have it changed in Nov. or write to your elected representative.

I'm going to vote for Romney, just like the majority of America will and send this fool packing. Then I'm going to watch as this ridiculous Obamacare is tossed to the wayside and real healthcare reform can happen.

I know i'm most likely going to open a can of worn by asking this , BDV , but do you know for a fact that your on a goverment watchlist? Have you seen a copy? Have you been questioned on suspicious behavior or anything like that? Because if you have , and you honorably served , the you should bring these facts to your local representative as soon as you can.

Yes I did , as if memory serves right ( Most of the time , it dosent since I have pretty bad TBI) , that report was only a suggestion and the head of the DHS at the time apologized to veterans groups for any offence the report did. I can see how you would be incensed , however , and at that time I was very very inflamed. Plus , the DHS report was released after he was elected yet it was written under President Bush JR. And the report states that its was mainly about extreme hate groups and such.

And yet, she didn't change it. Hollow apology. You should still be inflamed.

If you really think this administration is remotely friendly to veterans, I've got a bridge for sale, if you're interested. ;)

C'mon man... start talking to your active duty friends... see how big a fan, they are of Obama. My son gives me plenty of feedback as do my fellow vets. Military support active and former, are NOT in Obama's corner.

Stalin would blush at things Obama and his administration has said.

Can I have some first source documents please?

I dont discuss politics , actually. I let people have their own opinion and request that people respect mine. But If what you say is true , that President Obama is not for veterans or active duty , can you direct me to policy points that Gov. Romney is suggesting to improve veterans healthcare and benefits?

My healthcare is fine. I go to the VA also. The only changes I've seen... are the cutbacks, all the sons of bitches make to our care. I now have to drive 2 hours for stuff, that used to be 15 minutes away. Romney, hasn't proposed anything in regards to VA funding I'm aware of. However, dems have made numerous changes to things such as Tricare, which really @#$%s over retired military... which IMO, are deserving of free health care for life, if they can give up 20-30 years of their life for this country. I gave up 6 of mine and live with the effects of being constantly exposed to depleted uranium, both full casings and spent casings (where the biggest danger is). What are we going to do, when the Feds decide to roll up the VA, into ObamaCare, while keeping their Cadillac healthplans? Why isn't that more of a big deal for people that agree with the legislation... that Congress doesn't want ANYTHING to do, with this AWESOME tax? Why did they exempt themselves from it... and why doesn't that piss people, the Hell off?

I'll tell you why. People believe what the nightly news tells them. People get star-struck and think the rockstar is telling them the truth, even though he's been proven repeatedly a liar.

Here's one for you all, from TP's list...

FUCK THE SPECIAL NEEDS KIDS!

14. Flexible Spending Account Cap – aka “Special Needs Kids Tax” ($13 bil/Jan 2013): Imposes cap on FSAs of $2500 (now unlimited). Indexed to inflation after 2013. There is one group of FSA owners for whom this new cap will be particularly cruel and onerous: parents of special needs children. There are thousands of families with special needs children in the United States, and many of them use FSAs to pay for special needs education. Tuition rates at one leading school that teaches special needs children in Washington, D.C. (National Child Research Center) can easily exceed $14,000 per year. Under tax rules, FSA dollars can be used to pay for this type of special needs education. Bill: PPACA; Page: 2,388-2,389

Love,

ObamaCare

I'd like a head count of all those, that think their needs are more important than these children? Just want to know where everyone stands.

Do you, or do you not, feel the same about the little "retards"? <--- yeah, that's a link

How about it Rick, how the fuck does a "dumb old liberal socialist piece of shit" (Rick's words, not mine) feel about the fucking little 'tards? (just putting it in your language, for you)

ObamaCare isn't what you think it is. Please, read the damn bill.

Thanks for all the wonderful insight BDV and tea. You guys have it right. You are just so darn smart too! Glad to know how the election will go this November. Now I do not have to watch the mainstream media for that info.
This worthless old liberal lazy ass socialist is gone from this thread now. You chased me away with my tail between my legs! Watch the old man run!
No really, in my old age I have learned some humans are not worth any energy from me. Call it what you will as it matters not to me.
Have fun in your fantasy world.
My thanks for letting us know all is bad because of yesterdays Supreme court decision.

Actually my real thanks goes to you for showing us again how you relate to the rest of the world. Your own words will help Obama get re-elected. Keep it up as the 'middle' is watching and listening now a little closer. You got your crazy base that's for sure but that's about it.

Sorry but I live in reality. You liberals live in a fantasy land thinking where everything is jolly and fine. The country is broke, we can't afford feel good policies such as this. Crazy base? You know most of the people on the far right really, really don't like romney. They see him as a gun grabbing RINO. Obama had his chance along with a democratic house and senate. He fumbled the ball so badly you wonder if he even meant to catch it in the first place.

I know many like you that try to "drive-by debate", Coming and talking about some msnbc talking point that has zero substance and no fact, then running of while dismissing those that cite facts.

Go run along now, the youth in this country will be far to busy paying the bills of the baby boomers.

He has explained this a million times RomneyCare IS NOT ObamaCare. It was a program made on a (this is very important) State Level. Any state has the right to make a RomneyCare... just as I have the right not to live there. However, (this is another very important point) when the FEDERAL government makes the decision FOR ME... I have a big %$#@ing problem with that.

Rick can use his typical liberal tricks of Deflect, Dismiss, Belittle, Ignore (it seems to be his mantra)... but Obamao has one pissed off electorate. He isn't celebrating this victory. Behind closed doors... he knows Roberts %=$#ed him up the ass.

No mystery. He's now running for President and he KNOWS that his base is against this program. It isn't the first time a Presidential candidate has done a 180 degree turnaround.

What's the MAJOR difference.

State level vs Federal level. You will lose this argument, everytime. He was a Republican governor of a very blue state. THEY wanted socialized care. He did his job, giving them what THEY wanted. Which is more than we can say about Obamao... who went against the wishes of SEVENTY PERCENT of Americans.

Good luck with that spin, though.

Oh Rick, btw... expressing your politics in such a manner (vile language and generalizations, insults)... as someone doing business and trying to make a living... isn't a good move, imo.

It's the same how some states want medical marijuana and some don't. Some states want gay marriage, some don't. Some states want socialized health insurance ( AGAIN THIS WILL NOT LOWER HEALTHCARE COSTS) and some don't. Some states allow fully automatic rifles and some don't.
