Discontinued Omicron Vaporizer for oils

I'm really excited about the hvd and all that, but it's the beginning of summer where temps are often over 100 degrees here in the SFV, making the use of the Omicron severely limited to well air conditioning areas. If G is correct, waxes and oils are to be used in temps below 80 degrees.

Any updates for the release of the new leak-proof carts would be appreciated.

Lower temps definetely help prevent leaking and I have certainly used them in warmer environments... remember to store upright or use a white cap if going to get hot. Those two things help the most.

BTW: The SF Cup results were posted yesterday (go high times, within 24 hours if fast for them).

It was great seeing everyone at the cup. Some of these awards seem a bit bizzare. MamaP's grinders won best product and best booth and I never even saw there booth nor ever heard of their product....

The credit card grinder won again (please!)

Cali Connection (where G was) had 6 booths and were rockin tunes, having contests and giving away free dabs all day. There booth was rockin and they only got 3rd place. The globless nail that won 2nd was very cool. I liked it a lot. They were demoing those at the Cali connection booth also....

Congrats to Swerve and Cali Connection for the 1st place Hybrid Larry Og and to Ken Estes for 2nd place for Ken's Phantom. San Jose was well represented with awards to Patient to Patient (Ken estes) 2nd place Hybrid, San Jose Patients group (1st place indica), Elemental Wellness (2nd place Sativa), and Harborside (2nd place high CBD), and Buddy's cannabis (3rd place hybrid).

I sampled a number of the entries and all were very good. I'm sure choosing a winner was very hard. Guess we dont make the best waxes around here as all the concentrate winners were SoCal peeps...

Stick with waxes and you'll be fine, some of them barely flow even when really heated. I'm sure others have seen them too, the kind that just like to bubble and hiss their way down the cart, those ones don't leak too easily...

Hey there everyone:

I plan on purchasing some 4ohm carts in the very near future to use on my Thermovape base, but I am wondering if the general cart design has changed at all? I loved my first carts to death with almost 4g of ABV ISO hash having gone through there.:science:

I think I finally understand what a hammer, and nail cart are supposed to do, but I can't quite find confirmation if the oil carts have changed after reading a few posts about a leaked prototype. Thanks everyone!

They do indeed, that's where I bought mine! (SJ HS) And the bulk pricing for carts come to $5 a piece if you buy 400 I think, so they're still making money, no need to be greedy!

I think you'll be pleasantly surprised, I've had great luck with the newer carts!

As for the carts progress, I think the one we're all waiting for all called v3 "Hercules" carts. G says they can be dry fired for over a month without burning out and they produce great tasting vapor... pretty high praise!

My 14250's are acting funny, I charge them on my tr-001, I take one (tasty) hit off my DART on my HVD, then the blue light fades out and i get the three flash, battery dead. What is going on here? (this is my first time using the batteries if that matters.)

The standard dart is meant for 6v (two 3v batteries) and the hvd uses two 3.7v batteries so you're basically over-driving the dart and possibly over-heating the hvd top...

Ya that Dart is going to drain that battery really fast. Three blinks means that battery needs to be recharged and protection mode.

fast enough that I only get one hit? really? dang, I cant even make it through a full load. After one draw, the light dims immensely then the blinking. What kind of time could I expect with a regular omi cart?

I just tried it just for you, and I was able to get four or five wispy hits before the light began to dim, but it was a fresh battery and a recently cleaned Dart. The persei is what you want for the dart in my opinion

Omi carts are a different story, you only need full power for a fraction of the Dart's warm up time which lets the batteries cool down in between hits. No problems with 1.5 ohm carts :tup:

Using the 3.7 mini I get almost a days use from one battery with a 1.5 ohm cart, the best hits being are when the batterie is freshest so I usually change out the batts as long as I am near the charger. Just ordered two more batts, 4 of them should give me top notch hits no problem with hourly medication.
