New to Vaping(best portable model?)

Like the title states Im curious as to your opinions on which portable vape is the best. I have done some research into it and have come down to the thermovape t1, the solo, and the VaporBlunt how do these vapes stack up to one another in terms of portability and battery life?

To name all the battery portables I know about in no particular order just reading the names from this forum in order they appear. (Hope I'm not missing any.)

Thermovape T1 and Evolution
MFLB
Davinci
Pax (Comes out August 1)
Solo
Persei 8 (in development)
PUFFIT (Comes out July 1)
The Universe (in development)
Vapor Blunt
miVape (in development)
The Palm (is it out yet?)

They all provide the vapor you are looking for or will when they come out.

There are pros and cons to each model and someones pro may be another persons con.

Some of these are new so we don't know how they will work in the long term. It's good to pick a company with good customer service.

With the Thermovape T1 and Evolution you can replace any part yourself and buy any part on their web site. Depending on the model will determine how many hits you get. T1 = 10 hits and 10 second warm up (1 bowl), EVO SV = 15 hits and 15 second warm up (2 bowls), EVO LV = 25 hits and 25 second warm up (3-4 bowls). When the device is warm the heat up time is less. There is a power adapter coming out any day for the 6v (standard voltage) products with the LV coming out later. To clean you can boil the bowl or any part (besides the batteries and switch).

I don't have the solo and have never used one but from what I know it is bigger, 7 different temps, longer battery life (6 stems I believe). No removable battery. Longer heat up time (over a minute not sure how long though). You can buy a power adapter.

Some other points.
Do you care about the size
Removable battery or not? When on the go you can bring as many batteries as you want and get over 100 hits when not near an outlet and when the solo battery (or any other built in battery portable) dies you need to find an outlet.
Thermovape is durable (run over by car, dropped in water, tossed over a parking lot)
Solo has 7 temps.

I don't remember much on the vapor blunt. The thread is 22 pages so you can find a couple reviews and make your own judgement. It looks like it works according to the reviews in the thread and if you think you'll like the form factor then you might like it. I think it's a little longer than the Thermovape. 4-5 bowls a charge one reviewer said. Has flavor tips. Turbo feature to raise the temp 10 more degrees. Built in battery I believe.

I'm sure others will chime in with their thoughts.

Your post is like saying i want a car and i'm deciding between a minivan, a convertible and a sedan. What i mean is, what portable vape is best depends on which characteristics you value the most.

Type of usage: home/outside/multi-purpose/stealth outside

Type of power supply: user replaced batteries/built-in batteries/lighter

Most Valued Characteristic: Flavour/Size/Stealth/Air path purity/Durability/Quality of Materials Used/Extraction Efficiency

And last but not least, price range.

Regarding your choices, I would dismiss the Vapour Blunt, it is expensive, big and not very efficient.

Between the T1 and the Solo, the T1 has a better flavour, is stealthy and better quality in the materials used.

The Solo has a much better battery life and it is easier to pair with a water bong, and there are new stems from EdTnT and PlanetVape that improve the air flow compared to the regular stems that come with it.

A choice between the two depends entirely on your most valued characteristics, since they are both very good models.

Based on your budget i would also take a look and the Puffit, the Pax, the DaVinci and the Thermovape Evolution.

have any links? I couldn't find anything on google about this. If that is the case ill probably pick up the evo, I'm looking more towards longevity as there will be a few people using this most of the time

I though the solo had enough battery for 3 hours of continuous use?

the solo has about 2 hrs battery of continuous use

Yeah, about two hours with a fresh battery, mine is fairly old and has been run down quite a lot and I find i get closer to 1hour and 15minutes of hot use out of it. My stainless steel solo runs out of battery significantly faster than my ceramic one. I do consider them both great portable vapes, if I was to get another it would probably be a Da Vinci, or maybe a pax but I do recommend the solo, especially for what it costs.

i think the solo with the planetvape stems makes it a very solid product.

If you want longer battery life per charge and don't need the stealth the TV gives, get the Solo.

From your choices and the strengths of each vaporizer, this would be my call.

That looks sick, seeing as it is quite a bit cheaper than the solo and can be used in a 14gauge stem out of the box ill be getting a kit when they come out with ac-dc adapter for sure

Now that's something else! Some of those are only vaguely documented. I don't even remember reading a review on the Venus, for example - although hardly portable even in the way an e-cig on steroïds would prove to be, that is... Others already made unhappy customers, etc..

They look pretty decent,the thermovape is a better product imo, how does the t1compare to the evolution?i know the Evos heat up time is 15 secs longer, any compromise in terms of quality of vape?

What do you mean by "quality of vape" ? They are both pretty similar. The EVO doesn't need you to open and stir unlike the T1. The T1, because of its bigger bowl, will allow for visible clouds, the EVO not so much.

Taste, is about the same, with a slight edge to the EVO. (or the other way around, i am not sure)

The compromise is mainly in a less powerfull heater section (20W for the EVO instead of 30W for the T1), hence the difference in heating times. The lesser heater will also allow for more battery life but not a significant change.

This also makes the EVO more suited for just one person, and with the no-stir, it has a more confortable process all around.

Do you want bigger hits or less hassle? This for me sums the EVO vs T1. But i suggest you read the threads in question to have a better idea between the two. Start with the EVO thread because it is newer so there are more comparisons between the two.
