Discontinued VapeXhale Cloud

You won't be disappointed. :)

I have to keep mine in a tool shed because of my kids. It's been real hot out. In my shed it's easily over 100 degrees. My cloud gets so hot you can hardly hold it (not exaggerating) in that environment but so far it seems to take it no problem. The hits are searingly hot though. To combat this I am using a elcheapo bong with 5 ice cubes in it. This makes it so smooth and it's fun watching the vapor travel past the ice. :):):) I hope you get your invite soon!

People say 1st world problems like it's a bad thing.

I believe it's said when we generally have no right to be bitching when we think about how other have it by comparison.

So yes, I think it is a bad thing. I think that when we have first world problems, we are being spoiled beyond what we already deserve or are really entitled to.

sorry stoned thoughts... over and out :p

After 16 posts who made YOU a moderator? I try to keep my participation at a minimum and relevant, even if the discussion strays a bit, as has been known to happen in this thread from time to time, so if I am derailing here I will let a mod tell me thanks . . . use the report button if you have to :peace:

I was gonna say the same thing, but WafflesVape beat me to it. We have an entire forum dedicated to glass discussion and debate. This glass run got a little long.

TP...love that custom tube!

I have hit virtually nothing else since pairing my Cloud with my mobius matrix.

Haha it doesn't change the fact that first world problems do add real stress though. First world problem can easily include things like... internet and phone breaking. We all know how distressing that can get :p
We get stressed because we have different needs to survive in this modern environment. And some times, being spoiled.

Anyway! I got my unit for a few days and I got to say that it had gotten me pretty vaked. I am not sure if my unit is running mildly cool(14-18mins to heat up) but once it reaches temp it had been producing excellent clouds :D
That being said I don't use the heater much so my apartment tend to be pretty cold which might explain the longer warm up time.

Also tried with some other botanical because I have them lying around the house. Aromatherapy hahaha
Lavender is pretty nice to vape actually with tiny tokes at about 9-10 oclock position on my unit. Big hits of it gets overpowering. Roses about the same. I'm waiting for my unit to warm up for blue lotus now :)
Actives for my other sage plant needs a much higher temp I think and I am not sure if it would work with this.
I have fresh living gotu kola on my windowsill and the fact that it is used for the VXL's botanical blend made me tempted to pull a couple of leaves off and vape it :D

I fear for the ELB though. It fits REALLY snug in the joint and I fear that it is going to break soon. I already got one that is twisted slightly out of shape while struggling to remove it for the first time on a cool unit overnight. I feel that the ELB's durability is kinda questionable or I am really too... rough on it. I might have to acquire more of them sooner than I thought.

Still, a mostly positive experience. I think with this vape I might actually be able to finally switch to mostly vaping instead of smoking. My little mflb could not satisfy me the way ripping bongs does. The Cloud fits this niche perfectly.

^Great post RCP! Let me be among the first to welcome you to the forum. If you are interested, let us move our conversation to the PM or email stage as I would love to learn more of your medicinal herb vaporizing. I have dabbled in this a little bit (as I come from a family of homeopaths and vegans) but I am also a firm believer that this is a direction our medicines are going to go in, once more research (like China and Israel are currently involved in) have more LIGHT shed on them.

Glad you have joined us among the clouds!
Cheers!

Same here :). Love those garden sheds.
Mine, it's on the half shade of a tall tree.
It can get pretty hot sometimes :) I guess it helps in the vaporizing process :) jajjaja an getting pretty vaped with less. I never tried ice in my water tool but ASAP I'll try if the heat keeps going up. Stay vaped my friend!!!

True story. Being myself a South to North American transplant :) sometimes I found myself in the same diatribe , but then I think to myself, WTF, I worked my ass off to earn my money. But, yes, we are F...ING spoiled in "developed economically countries", but just "economically", when you think politics and fairness to the rest of the world, those "d. e. c." , are simply selfish and don't like to assume any responsibility.
This is IMO and I totally agree with you.
But let's just stay vaped and happy!!

I forgot just how tight they are when new. I keep two in rotation. Very quickly they will soften up and start to be easier to insert/remove. Recently one ELBs top ring came undone from the basket itself so I dug out a spare and soon recalled just how tight they can be.

Here's the other side of the coin...It's not just the ELB that wears in, the glass must also, because my brother recently received his Cloud (Mon) and the ELBs that have loosened up on my Cloud are very tight on his.

i believe there is expansion and contraction of the glass due to the temperature variations as well.

but yes totally over time the ELB's start to fit in the joints better :)

Clean the elb often. I have 6 and clean them every few days. Soak them in iso them rinse with hot water. Mine still look brand new even though they have been used heavily.

Due to the overwhelming response for customs, we will implement a formal process for this. As you can imagine, customs take time away from our glass blowing team to make standard Hydratubes so we need to figure out a way to streamline when and how we get customs made.

Will be back with more info once we work through the specifics.

Having an issue completing the registration in order to place my order. Still waiting on an email. I went through the website and submitted a pre-sales support request. Well at least I think I did. There was no ticket number or anything displayed after submitting.

Ugghhhh....another line for the cloud team.....I wasn't expecting that.....having a patent/pending is the slow cog I guess.
Sux.
Except the "in-crowd" gets dibs and special trx....

Yeah that's kinda bullshit that some people already have custom HTs and the rest of us are still waiting to get a standard Cloud package, especially if they're being blown by the in-house guys. I just want the Cloud without a HT, why can't this happen soon? It seems like all the pre-orders have been filled so what is the point of making every order still buy the HT? It would take a load off the glass blowers and allow more people on the list to get their units. I'm sure I'm not the only person who wants the Cloud only. C'mon VXH crew, make it happen!

Ummm, so just how much of an impact have the custom HT's actually had on standard shipments???

Judging by how SM and his team have conducted themselves so far, I can't see them doing anything that would slow down the production of Clouds for all the people that are still on the pre-order list. I'm thinking that they have noticed that there is a real interest in custom HT's, have made some, have seen how it is starting to bump up against there production schedule and are informing us that they will come up with a way to make it work seperate from regular production...have faith people...I'm one of those waiting for a Cloud, too. :)

can i stick my male joint in there?

the custom ht thing was my bad. i had them made without letting sm55 know about it. so thats why they weren't ready for the demand. so i'm sorry if i kinda fudged things up.

I also wanted to say that IMO, everything is pretty fucking good and I can't really complain about much, ATM.

Not a big deal about no custom tube, I AM interested on the pricing though. Financial planning.

Edit.....oh and my cloud is being delivered tomorrow! OMG! LOL. Wtf! The world is colliding, it feels like!

Here's the other side of the coin...It's not just the ELB that wears in, the glass must also, because my brother recently received his Cloud (Mon) and the ELBs that have loosened up on my Cloud are very tight on his.

I wonder if the specs on the Cloud have changed some since the beginning. I was very suprised at how hard it was to fit the ELB in my Cloud. I may have actually damaged it because I had to push so hard that the glass got pushed down a few millimeters from doing so.

Was this also the case with beta units and some of the first production units to roll off the line? I mean did you have to really push that hard with the earlier units? I'm just asking. I don't know how hard they were to get in and out in the beginning, but I don't remember it being an issue with beta testers (looking back on videos of people putting in ELBs effortlessly and popping them out). If it was, then ok, that's fine. But if they weren't that tight, the only thing that makes sense to me is a design/spec change of the glass joint.

Thoughts?

:peace:
