It seems that after a week of using my Cloud my lights are kinda dancing all over the place lol Function is perfect, but instead of staying green it will flash green a few times every so often, or flash red and it's pretty random in no order. I adjust the temp a blip but it doesn't seem to matter. It doesn't happen all the time though, but it's something that never really happened before.

Not sure if this has been answered but the flickering lights happen when the heater is on/off. Depending on the temperature, you will see different types of blinking patterns, nothing to be concerned about.

Even though the Cloud is badass if any other vape posted an incorrect heat up time, people would be all over it and calling out the company. Might as well change it to 10 minutes because I've never seen this thing be ready in 5 minutes, that is false advertising.

We'll update the documentation. Original Clouds were heating up in 5 minutes but what we found was that we were redlining the heater too much and it was causing some to burnout. In order to increase the longevity, we reduced the amount of maximum heat the heater would put out but the drawback was a slower heat up time.

You're pretty much inline with all of the other vaporizers out there for heat up time. I wouldn't worry about it and people really shouldn't be beating you up over it. Longevity is Importsnt but so is not burning the shit out of your hands. Look at people who own TVs and burn there fingers using it.

Mine was blinking weird too, and I couldn't really figure out what it was doing or why. I thought it was only supposed to do this when it was on its hour timed cooldown. It's happened to me a few times now well before the full hour, so I'm glad this has been cleared up somewhat.

Sorry to cause all the hubub with my 10 minute heat up comment. It mighta been 8, mighta been 12. I wasn't timing it. I just noticed The Monster (what I've come to call it) was go to go about 10 minutes after turning it on.

All joking aside, someone mentioned earlier that gradual heat up = heat retention (to paraphrase). They could not be more right. No matter how hard we pulled, The Monster just kept on keeping on. Unbelievable.

I'm traveling today and tomorrow I am not too proud to admit that I really miss my new toy.

Does this mean that longevity of the earliest units is compromised regardless of whether or not they burned out in the beginning?

I have been hitting the Cloud dry pretty much from Week 1. I flipped a GVG over on it for a somewhat intoxicated neighbor who I did not want handling the HT. It worked so well and easy not having to deal with the HT AFTER a dose that I stuck to it and just stashed the HT. I never was a glass collector/user so not using diffusion with vapor is no big deal to me. Using it this way it CAN be passed back and forth while laying down watching TV, for instance. For something even shorter you can use an 18 to 14 adapter which adds just a short "mouthpiece" per se. This would need to be removed after a dose as it would get too hot sitting up there for the next dose.

The appropriately named "Cloud" will get you there sooner.

I think SM was referring to Betas HAL. I had a Beta that burned out .The prodo is far more solid and reliable IMO.

Everyone is a magical word. It can mean huge massive release or few people :D Anyway with the acceleration the VX is in now is promising. Well, they've already sold a lot of Clouds (for 350). So VX got funded quite well during past months, right? :) It is still a year of preorders not fullfilled but with this speed it could be closer we think.

Dont they only sell units in the US? Im not sure but that would suck. If so, get it sent to a friends house in the US if you have one.
They do ship to Canada. I e-mailed back and forth a couple days ago and they said it wouldn't be a problem. Not sure what the shipping/duty will be though (I imagine duty will be at least HST + $5 from my experience + shipping costs)

I just reserved mine on Monday so I imagine I'll be waiting a long time! Oh well ... such is life.
