That scale only has a 50 gram capacity so I guess its "better" if all you want to do is go mobile with your flower weights. But as you pointed out Max, the model I chose not only would do everything the one you chose does, but a lot more as well around the home. I guess "better" is subjective :peace:

I have that exact scale, and would recommend it. I've had it 2 or 3 years now, no issues. I happened to have a 5 gm weight, and the scale measures it accurately.

From my latest "pickup" through a "friend" I spent $200 and got nothing. I'd say that's gotta be the low end for the $:bud ratio going on in this thread.

"friend" was given my cash to buy some for me and I was going to give him 2 grams to grab it for me while I was busy. He says fine. Gave my cash to a JUNKIE and let him go inside an apartment alone. Money is gone forever and he is not going to pay me back. Took $200 to learn that I had one less friend than I thought.

darkrom, I am so sorry, I know there is nothing to say really except that maybe it was a good thing you found out about this "friend" when only $$ was involved and not something more important.

I get local killer for 300-325 a zip and medicinal from Cali at 375-400 a zip. I consume about 3-4 grams a week. Prices much friendlier here in Miami than my hometown of NYC.

Never pay more than 10/g, ounces are 200 or less. I usually get deals from the dispensaries, so my last pickup was 75 for a half. I consume 2-5g a week, which is also supplemented with hash. decent hash typically costs me ~25/g for bubble, and 35-40 for earwax. I don't dab much anymore, so a gram of earwax can last a couple weeks.

The trade-off is a higher living cost in California, but it's a nice place. Wish I could take my California recommendation to Colorado and sample some of their stuff, looks fiiire.

Power Plant, 1.2g nug. Impressive, sticky, and dense. Broke off a small piece and I had enough for two trenches! As good as it gets...

living in colorado. the medi scene is very nice and convenient. I can get 1/8 for 20 dollars ish or a little more, maybe 30 on the black market. but i choose to pay extra for the convenience of dispensary and a more knowledgeable staff that can really break down the strains. not to mention different options. I pay 10 bucks a gram at my dispensary right now. they have about 30 strains on hand. I think I am going to switch to this other one down the street though. they have Harlequin and I am very interested in this strain. I think it really is the future of medical cannabis.

BUT, I just received my package of Organic White Sage ( We are starting to experiment all herbs.)
I think we are going to start cutting our cannnabis with other herbs as well.
The White Sage was around 10 bux for 4 ounces delivered.

Last time I visited a dispensary, I "donated" $90.00 and received:
- 5 grams of Super G-13
- 5 grams of Larry OG Haze
- 1 gram of OG Kush

All are GREAT, and should last me around... a long time. :)

prices for the high grade are usually 240+ i find. the big name strains, and quality buds.

160-220 for other stuff ranging from crappy outdoor, to nice indoor.

In Belgium you pay something like 10€/gr. Most of the time crappy quality. Not long ago you could find glass or sand in your bag. Now things got better and they just put some kind of chemical or spray that smells a bit like amnésia on buds. It was possible to find good herb in the Netherlands but their tolerance towards tourist is almost over, and the quality went down since 2006. That's why I switched to homegrown, people who smoke commercial around here are just suicidal.

What they spray is problably JHW-018, sinthetic THC.. it is what they used in some of the legal herbs in smartshops. And if that is the case, i would definitly stay away then.

I'm not certain about what it is but I think it has nothing to do with synthetic thc. Nothing like crystals on top of the bud, more something that makes the bud heavy and seemingly resinous, it makes all strains smell the same and taste like shit. Someone who lacks experience will think it's sticky bud when grinding it but a trained eye will see that it is more something like a soft form of glue. Scary shit, but I guess it's better than weed who scratch your teeth when chewing.
