Discontinued Omicron Vaporizer for oils

Here's the point I'm trying to make and why I said you have to be in "the special circle of friends" to take advantage of discounts that people are un-aware of. I bought the Persei and V2 at NorCAL care. Nowhere does it say at that collective to register on this very board for updates, FAQ and to take advantage of special deals that may be going on. Another collective I frequent is Harborside SJ, another distributor of the Omicron, and nowhere does it say log on to FC for FAQ discount codes etc etc. Now were those collectives informed to tell their customers of Omicron/Persei to sign up on FC to take advantage of that kind of stuff......NO. Did "G" tell those collectives to inform the customers to register on FC to take advantage of stuff. NO. I asked before I posted here. When you buy an Omicron/Persei does it say anywhere on the box to register on FC to take advantege of that stuff......NO.....but it does have delta9vapes.com written on product for reference, and when you surf that page does it say to register on FC to take advantage of that stuff.....NO. Does it have the upgrade at regular price? YES. I can understand if this was a deal from a seller of the Omicron/Persei giving out discounts, but this deal came from the creator himself, and the only ones informed were people who are on FC. I know "G" can give 2 shits about what I'm saying here, he already has my money I spent on the Persei, Omicron V2, case, and $100 plus on carts. I know he won't even address me personally on it. Yes he said he won't do any special favors, but he actually did, you just have to be a part of FC. I just want im to know that there is many more like me that are out of his "circle" that don't know of special deals not unless you are on FC, which like I have said before makes no reference anywhere on his product to do so.

damn dood. sounds like you were a week or two late for the discount.... bummer.

We posted the code on two different forums, the only reason i am here more often on FC because FC has users here really know a thing or two about vaporizers, with their feedback and knowledge we are able to build better and better vapes.

I am sorry that you missed out on codes, but i dont complain when i miss out on a sale on a item i want to buy.

I find that pg and other type of "oils" run out way faster then I started buying thicker concentrates, (bho,co2,budder) and these I found last wayyyy longer

Do you need the 1.5 ohm cart to use the thicker oil? i'm using the 2.4. any problem with the 2.4 for thicker oil?

Thx,

sunset

no difference really. thicker oils might take a little longer to prime and prolly wont hit as hard, but if youre using the 1.5 ohm carts, using thicker oils would probably work great.... id have to try the oil out to know for sure :)
oops misread that, 2.4 ohm carts will just not hid as "hard" as the 1.5 ohm carts. both will work with any oil though. priming time for 2.4 ohm carts might be longer

Hey all, I understand I missed out on the HVD discount code, no biggie. I'm still going to buy it and it seems like if you get it and own the V2 (which I do) then it becomes 2 separate Omicrons! I was actually planning on buying my girl one since we love it already in less than 12 hours, but now I'll just wait and make this V2 have more volts and and the spare V2 for her to bring to work, awesome.

I know I haven't added much input or anything about the Omicron other than it's awesome and I keep asking questions, but I have another one (sorry):

I'm using the Omicron on the drive to work and leave it in my car for 8 hours. Is it best to leave it in the mesh case it came with or should I leave it standing up somewhere in my car? If I leave it in the mesh carrying case then I unscrew the cartridge right after I'm done seshing the vape, is that bad to take it off right when I'm done?

Ok so here it is, the cartridges need a cool place to be stored and standing upright, when you are done using it, just do a 20 second pull without the button being pressed, so it can cool the cartridge down and you can take it off. Does not matter where you place it but you have to make sure its cool place or the oil inside will just melt out.

Jared, you should follow THC on their twitter @delta9vapes Info and news is tweeted when it happens, so hopefully you won't miss out again

can anyone else here explain to people the benefit of rewarding an online community that is immediately responsive to new marketing ideas, supporting the medical community, basically acting like a customer service station for free and how that might be a benefit, not a negative to those who choose not to participate or are unaware of said community. i can understand how one might feel that way, but only by looking at the entire situation thru a limited perspective, i.e. "why am i being excluded"

it is not part of THC sci's business model to promote FC anymore than it is FC's model to promote THC Sci. this community isn't formed by THC Sci, it is formed by a bunch of vapers that like to share info.
"G" is active on many boards, not just this one and different things have been given away on different sites. On another site i watched him give away 5 persei's. as one who paid for mine and am active on this board, do you think that didn't sting a little? doesn't mean i was screwed over or that i was "being excluded." different sites require different marketing ideas.

let me clarify that i don't feel the need to rush to the defense of "G", only that i do feel the need to retort to entitlement. feel free to express yourself and don't feel that i am denying your right to feel like you missed out, i am just trying to add perspective. there were a lot of people who missed the v2 deal, the o-phos deal, and the hvd deal, and they DO know and ARE participants of this site, not here complaining w/ less than 10 posts. they only person i saw "g" give a deal to was a medical student who got a one day "medical" deal. personally i wouldn't have done it for someone else w/so little participation on this board, but i am not "G". i can understand feeling out of the loop once you have found this place, but now you are in the loop. stay in, the water's fine (to mix my metaphors), but don't deny to loyal participants the right to a good deal, just 'cuz you didn't get in on it or pay enough attention.

there is a difference between a giveaway and a DISCOUNT upgrade. I understand that! I have a right to voice my opinion even if I had only one post. I'm not going to post something like a MC Hammer video responding to person that asked to see a video of Hammer attachment just so I can get my post count up. I would rather post someting that is revelant to the topic, and I haven't had any complaints about the product other than other people being hooked up with a fat discount that isn't even on delta9vapes.com

Don't give me this inner circle crap. I'm from Chicago. A simple google search brought me to this forum. It was not like I had any secret intel. In fact you should of had a better chance of knowing about it since you are in California.

Don't be mad that we know how to google.

LOL I ain't feeding you crap, but since you responded it's like this. If somebody buys a Omicron Vape like I did from a collective, and on the box the reference says delta9vapes.com, that's where the buyer is going to go regarding the product. It's written on the product. Google would be another option, but other people would rather go direct to the source. Now again.........on the delta9vapes website, did it offer the doscount upgrade........NO.

Once again, if you are reading anything I'm posting.....did you offer this same discount on your website delta9vapes.com? Simple question. On your product the reference is delta9vapes.com not fuckcombustion.com.

I would be the one to "inform" clubs about FC but that is not my job. FC is a very popular forum as far as google searching goes, Google Omicron or Persei and see what pops up! Retailers sell items at retail. In no way did either collective you mentioned cheat you nor did G or Delta9.

You can't return a new car a few weeks after you buy it for money back and a better car.

Next time there is an Omicron/Persei demo at NorCalCare you should roll by, they usually do a sale those days.

I didn't say the collective cheated me, I bought my vapes from there.

since you seem to be purposefully ignoring all opposing points,
i.e., this is a community, not d9, they aren't related in any way directly, that was my point.
the offer is here and not on d9, cuz it's not open to the whole world. only to this community which does so much for them. i already said you had a right to complain, just as we have a right to disagree. you can't make this whole thing about only your point even if you are the one bringing it up. no he didn't offer the discount on his site nor does he direct people here. he does however reward people here for appreciation of the help provided. the vaporpedia page rufrothy built from the ground up, all the help daily people like OF and JKA and Jam provide to this community deserves reward to them. it's not just about being a customer.

We dont post discounts on our site. It is only posted on forums. It would take about a month to make changes to the site to show a discount thats available for a week.

so anytime i'm done using the unit it's best to do a 20 second drag with no button, unscrew it and then store it standing up? or can i just leave it on the unit standing up in my car

Yes leave it standing up on the unit, but please make sure not to allow it to get over 80F in the car.

have you ever used a discount code before? they arent just posted on the website of purchase. you usually have to find the code from a radio show or tv show or in this case an online forum. i have used discount codes for other purchases and they arent just on the website saying hey dont pay full price type in this code. no you have to find the code somewhere else. thats how discount codes have always worked whenever ive seen em. someone has to give you the code, its not just displayed by the company. i use discount codes to get presale tickets for concerts all the time and ticketmaster isnt the one supplying the promotion code

I can't speak for other members here but it was here I was sent to see what people have to say about the omicron. I bought one direct from deta9 after some reading. I have bought a few units now for others and sent a few more to the site to buy their own, I do not feel in any way they owe me anything for providing the best oil vaping product I have used . I am humbled that THC offered a discount to the HVD to us FC members but I don't expect them. A smarter man would have purchased 3 or more of the HVD at discount but I only bought one and will more then likely buy more for others at full price and think it was worth every penny.

Every other discount upgrade I have seen was posted at the delta9 website under Upgrade Options.

I thought the discount was targeted specifically at FC or other forum readers, not the general public, which is why you would not have seen it posted on the website, but I could be wrong. We are lucky to get any discounts at all, and it is not the responsibility of D-9, G, or anyone else for that matter to make sure everyone and their dog knows about it. You missed a good deal that was only up for a week, for those who happen to be paying attention. Get over it. If you want to be in on these kinds of discounts, start spending time reading the forums and keeping up with what is going on. That's what the rest of us are doing. I didn't sign up to any special clubs or learn any secret handshakes, I just found FC and started reading. Making this much of a fuss about missing the upgrades isn't going to change anything. If you have constructive ideas to help get collectives or other shops that sell THC products to be more involved with all the changes and upgrades, maybe you can start by talking to them, to see what they are doing to get the word out.

Use this as an example...When you walk into a store do they hand you a coupon for exactly what you want when you walk in...NO, you have to do you due diligence and cut those coupons out yourself at home. You cant complain when someone did the work reading 200+ page (the equivalent of reading the whole paper to cut out coupons) who found that coupon, then get mad when you couldnt use the coupon someone else found.

By the way, the coupons were really for the early users. Kind of a thank you for supporting the company. Most of us paid for our Omicrons long before they were even available.

If everyone was supposed to get that price, dont you think that would of been the price. Go complain to best buy on Black Friday when they sell out of 10 TV's but you were the 11th person in line.

I bought the Omicron V.1 back in December/2011, both units have stop taking a charge.
Just spent 20 minutes waiting on the delta9 site for a robot to give me a generic "send your defective product to..."
response.
Anyone sent a v.1 back recently? What EXACTLY do I need to send back? and what should I expect to happen?

Just filled out a "return request" on the site, we'll see what happens. Still curious if anyone sent a v.1 back recently? What EXACTLY do I need to send back? Do I have to make a copy of the invoice? and what should I expect to happen?

Not a return request brotha, submit a ticket on the home page, the return request system is not being used.
