Vaporizer Life Span

I am very new to the concept of Vaporization due to the fact that I have grown up only using cheap pipes and papers.

I'm turning over a new leaf now & I want to Vaporize. My biggest question is what is the deal with the warranties that most Vaporizers come with?

Who has actually used the warranty program? I ask because it seems like I can find better deals on Ebay instead of my local smoke shop, but I know that there might not be a warranty so I'm curious to see if I should just by local?

Grab yourself an SSV or a DBV. Even if you buy it off ebay and something goes wrong the repair is $25 plus shipping. That is if you ever need a repair. These things are built to last a long time!

The Magic Flight Launch Box has a lifetime warranty, but also has a slight learning curve.

I can tell you from my experience that it never hurts to have a warranty with any type of product! However, it does depend on your budget bc saving $ on the spot is great!

not eveery warranty is actually I warranty, I have heard of some cheap vaporizers from china that offer a warranty of a few years, but if you actually want to use that warranty, there is nowhere an adress or phone number or so of the company to be found, and so you also can't use the warranty.
luckily those are exceptions tough, the vapes mentioned in this thread should be all OK, it's more the shady chinese boxvapes you have to watch out with.
but it is something to look into, don't just think you have a warranty when you see the word warranty, but also look at the thread of thar model in the vaporizer discussion for example to check if anyone needed to use the warranty and if the warranty could be used.

You shouldn't be worried about life span. All decent vapes are designed to last. Warranty is for defects/breakdowns. If you want to be certain an eBay buy is covered, you need to contact the manufacturer. If you can't contact them, you can assume you have no warranty. Then you can either rely on the seller for some kind of guarantee (usually a short term, if any), take your chances, or buy from an authorized source.

I just went on GotVape & they have a new "Saw it For Less" feature that will accept a lower price listed on Amazon or EBay. I wonder if this is BS or legit because that means the warranty is valid, anyone tried it yet?

Haha, it looks very legit man.

I just went there, clicked on WISPR, and without a link or any research just typed in a price $70 less than the listed price, and it immedietely went

"Price match accepted - add to cart?"

Facinating...

I got paid to kill people.
This is an excellent question and one I have been pondering for a while. I have 2 high quality vaporizers (vivape and volcano digital). What is the average life span of a Volcano (if it "erupts" like 1 or 2 times every 2 days)? The vivape is so new there really isn't any point in asking.

I have used the warranty serviced of 7th floor Via the site puffitup, Thermovape, Underdog, and Vape exhale's cloud.

all of these companies went a either above and beyond, or were able to at least satisfy my issues!

I don't think you have too much to worry about for vape warranty. most units are pretty good and the companies who back em ime have been great!

 that's not the best example of reliability in this industry lol out of the 10 electrical manufacturers you've dealt with (according to your sig.), 40% have required use of their warranty.... when you put it like that..... ;)

the OP was asking about if anyone has done any warranty claims though so i am just explaining the process.

regarding ebay. you would need to check with the seller and manufacturer (if you don`t trust the seller) to make sure.

a great starter vape is the mflb imo(it`s cheap, portable, lifetime warranty, and is also stealthy). but that all comes down to your needs and preferences. :)

this is true, i will clarify a bit.

2 of them were for broken glass. The SSV and the Cloud itself work great. :) the other was a cosmetic issue, and then 1 actual real failure where hey gave me an upgraded unit for no additional cost. they also threw in about 30 bucks worth of extras in there for me too. all of this was on top of free shipping.

like i said even though they had issues, the companies took care of me and i felt that they did a great job handling it to minimize cost and inconvenience to me.

that`s actually 4 out of 13 though = 31% not too be too picky

I had excluded the non electrical/mechanical vapes as I thought the warranty is just really a selling point :)
